Fétiche La Rose

Fetiche La Rose is actually very well blended, but I do feel it’s a skin scent. Considering my sample has really improved over the last couple of weeks, maybe this just needs more time to show its true potential. What initially ruined this for me initially was the ridiculous amount of hype and influencers who claimed this was a black cherry scent. There is no black cherry in this what so ever. This led me to rate it as 2/10, along with its initial strong similarity to "Delina La Rosée | Parfums de Marly" , a scent I personally hate. Retesting it now I still feel they made a mistake when printing the ingredients of this. I still get absolutely no cherry. I do get Hibiscus, Rose, Ginger & pepper. My partner’s first impression of FLR was “it’s really, really nice” and scored it 8/10 until he smelt "Hibiscus Mahajád | Maison Crivelli", which he said was so much nicer. In the opening of both, I’d definitely agree with this. HM is stunning. FLR smells more rosy here, like HM mixed with "Atomic Rose (Eau de Parfum) | Initio" and "Delina (Eau de Parfum) | Parfums de Marly". The dry down of both is where the differences are more obvious. HM flits between hibiscus and leather. To me FLR still had a hibiscus/rose note, but with added ginger and smokiness. This is where I enjoy it most. It is definitely dark and sexy. I still hate the tacky lid and bought directly from Christian Louboutin’s site, just to ensure I got the travel cap. Needless to say I’d now rate this 10/10. If you have a sample, definitely let this sit a week or two and retest. If you’re thinking of buying this, you should also test Hibiscus Mahajad. If you like this, you’ll likely enjoy all the other fragrances mentioned.

I still am amused at how intense the feelings are when it comes to Quentin Bisch.Many love him intensely,many hate him with a passion.Interestingly, even the haters admit that there is this stunning creation called the Quentin Bisch rose.This rose, like the creator, is equally loved and hated,cherished and despised,very polarasing but nevertheless very intriguing.While the famous rose is fruity youthful in Delina, classy and crisp in Existence,loud and unapologetic in Guidance,here the rose is very sensual and seductive.She is deeply immersed in a very sweet, thick dark cherry syrup, sprinkled with ginger and this blend is so sexy and addictive...I am enchanted. I remember Demi Rawling raving on YT about how her fiance reacted to this scent on her and the subsequent mean comments about that here on fragrantica.I completely understand her/his reaction because this fragrance,while not a masterpiece, is somehow so alluring that I constantly sniff the air around me while wearing it. It is definitely NOT a blind buy because of the simply fact that ALL of QB ́s recent creations are intensely polarising (see Guidance or Existence) and because this is for those who love powerful fragrances with good projection and longevity!I personally LOVE the famous Quentin Bisch rose in ALL its forms and if someday it will translate into a real-life rose I will cultivate it in my (as yet non-existent) garden...

Seeing all the reviews, it’s a good reminder that fragrance is subjective, no one person’s opinion is the end all, be all. So here’s my take on my experience with La Rose. I wore Fétiche la Rose and I didn't just wear a scent, I embodied a mood. Empowered. Bold. Seductive. Enticing. Beautiful, demure, and coquette all at once. It gave me main character energy, like I was gliding through my own film, framed in velvet light and a lingering gaze. This scent is a whispered invitation and a crimson statement. Alluring from the first breath to the last trace. It's the rose you bleed for. It's poetic, enigmatic, and completely in a league of its own. This lasted over 8 hours on my skin and even longer on clothing (my work sweater still smells like it 48 hours later). I also received so many compliments while wearing it, which is always a bonus. Two triends asked what I was wearing, and of course, I'm not gatekeeping. This entire line is superb. I love the bottle design, and my sales associate was amazing she even gave me two travel caps just in case. She already knows I'll be back for another from the collection; they're all so beautiful and expertly blended. I truly love everything Sir Quentin Bisch creates.

This has been ridiculously hyped up that I was really excited to try this. Being a cherry lover, especially black cherry, this one drew me in. Well .... This is absolutely nothing special or different what so ever. Fetiche Le Rose is a skin scent, and even at that it’s barely noticeable. The notes are hard to detect and not because it’s well blended, but because it’s so faint it’s difficult to tell what you’re smelling. Don’t believe these influencers who are telling you this is a black cherry scent.... There’s no detectable cherry in what so ever! As it dries down you get the rose and that’s it. This could be Atomic Rose Initio, Hibiscus Mahajad or even Delina Exclusif .... but watered way, way down into next to nothing If any of the scents mentioned above were too strong for you and you just wanted something much softer, this is for you. I love this scent. It verges on being too much, too sweet, too something but I can't stop smelling it at the same time. It's like a sweet dessert you should leave alone but you keep going back for just another little bit. Cherry and rose both of which I love in the right blend. If you've seen my other reviews, you'll know I work from home so I wear what I want when I want and I think everyone generally should. I bought a backup bottle I loved it so much when I first got it but with time it's clear it's not an every day or even every other day frag for me, so I'm decluttering the backup. I might rebuy but it'll be a while before that would be needed. I'd love if they came out with a slightly lighter flanker version. But this is not a hot heat, warm day one for me. It's better on a cool evening - special occassion, date night. Great longevity and sillage.

Picked this up after a true fraghead mutual shared their thoughts, and I don’t usually blind but at this price point, but I trust her. I’ve been sniffing this non stop since I pulled it out of the box. Without looking at the notes I got a rich, unique and sweet peppery rose with an unusual warm spice. The moment I saw the notes it came together. Jammy rose and almost a dried cherry, spicy pepper and warm zingy ginger. As it dries down, I get more cherry and rose, the pepper falls off and the ginger mellows. This is intensely sexy. Idk how he did it, but this stuff makes me feral. And the dry down is the stuff obsessions are made of. The name, the presentation, the juice all match. I’ll update with longevity after a full day wear, but for now I’ll say Quentin hit the ball out of the park on this one.

Sharida loves this perfume to the MAX and, as many before me have been remarking, so does Demi. Now I don't always agree with her- for example I hate the Delinas- I do sometimes, and I believe her when she says this is sexy. Sometimes she repeats the same phrase too many times when describing things and could study public speaking but I don't find her cringy, and that is a rather harsh assessment, imo, just had to say it. I bet it is sexy indeed. I will try it one day downtown in spite of the sick bottle. Over the winter Demi fell in love with Le Lion so I have new respect for her since that is my winter main LOVE which I can't get enough of. And it's not so feminine but who cares because we love it!!

I actually find this one to be pretty unique. I enjoy the note of rose, so I own quite a few rose perfumes. You definitely get the spices initially and the cherry is less prominent than I expected. It also has a fresh quality mixed in that stays throughout much of the wear., keeping it from being as sexy as it it would otherwise be. I really liked it. My husband commented that he could smell my perfume, but he never complimented it. He usually loves cherry perfumes on me, too. I know it is being touted as super sexy by some influencers, but not everyone will view it that way. I am happy with my purchase, but I am a rose lover. I would recommend testing before purchasing.

This is a very commanding, sexy, statement, clubbing, rose and cherry scent. Though it’s not my style, my husband finds it an intense aphrodisiac - poor guy! It’s giving NYC in the throbbing late 1980s. If I were 40 years younger and had more clubbing/party events, I can see wearing this a lot, but that ship has sailed. It’s now me, my puppies, my husband, some warm orris/ iris labdanum affair, or a chypre, and Poirot. Either that, or the opera and Amouage Memoir Woman. More power to those of you who can wear and enjoy this luscious creation with its undeniable charm! It’s fantastic and unforgettable. Enjoy!

I blind bought this. I also expected something else like a fruity rose based on the reviews online. This is a darker & sensual fragrance to me (not your typical fruity floral), suitable for a date night or if you want to smell sexy. To me this smells like spicy, cherry liquor with rose. The opening is the most interesting part of the scent as the spices and cherry fade rather quickly and you’re left with mostly jammy rose on skin. Strong, amazing peppery opening but the fragrance has moderate performance as it settles. Beautiful scent!

I tested this line at Nordstrom today and this one was my favorite. The pink pepper and ginger make it a very spicy rose, with the cherry adding just a touch of sweetness. It seemed to have moderate longevity and sillage. I honestly didn't think any of them were worth $250...I've smelled just as nice fragrances for much less. And the bottles are horrid. No way they'd fit on a cabinet shelf. I agree with girlfromanothertime's review that this fragrance kind of falls apart in the dry down.

Fetiche la Rose is an alluring rose and cherry fragrance that is truly captivating. This is such a gorgeous and feminine scent. I can detect rose, but it’s not a simple rose—it’s masterfully blended with other notes that melt together so seamlessly, it’s hard to pick them out individually. I sprayed it twice and could smell it on myself all day. It’s an incredibly elegant fragrance, and I don’t have anything similar in my collection. I also own Delina and Hibiscus Mahajád, and this is not even close to either. So lovely, another masterpiece from Quentin Bisch.

Just picked up a bottle from Harrods. Will update my review in the next couple of days once I properly test this fragrance. Update (22-Mar-2025): Agree with @sarahkarlin, for me the first 5 mins it’s all about the pink pepper and the ginger, then it develops to the most amazing sensual rose with a touch of cherry! If you like spicy rose, this one is for you. Quentin Bisch did it again! A great longevity of 8-10 hours. 10/10.

Smelled this in Nordstrom from the collection and immediately fell in love with this one! It reminds me of Ambre Nuit mixed with Clive Christian Town and country with a seductive Cherry note added. It's Sweet, spicy, sensual, and seductive. Definitely my favorite Rose fragrance. I didn't purchase it from Nordstrom for $250. But I immediately went online, found it for $212 from Bloomingdales and ordered it

You can tell this is a Quentin Bisch creation immediately. The rose is very evocative of Delina, Very Good Girl, etc. But this is just elevated. So good. It is masterfully blended with the cherry and the pink pepper. That combination often results in a screechy composition, but not here. Gorgeous drydown.

When I first smelled this, I was like Naahhhh this is not my style .... and then 5 hours later I kept getting wafts of something that smelled heavenly, turns out it was this on my arm from earlier! Immediately bought myself the FB. I LOVE THIS JUICE. Please never discontinue it. ♥ 🤤

My first thoughts....Dr pepper. I smell straight Dr Pepper. Spicy, boozy, vanilla, cherry = Dr Pepper. It smells nice, but I will have to give it another try to see if I can get past the soda pop!

If you enjoy Delina Exclusif, you’ll likely appreciate this fragrance too. While they’re not dupes, they definitely belong to the same scent family. It also reminds me slightly of Hibiscus Mahajád(HM) in concept—but thankfully, much less loud and strong. I personally can't stand Hibiscus Mahajád, and this one is nothing like it. HM leans more Middle Eastern and this does not, as most rose fragrances do. It does not remind me of Carmina either. The fruity opening is what drew me in—it's vibrant, juicy, and really beautiful. I just wish it lingered a bit longer. The dry-down is decent, though nothing groundbreaking. I’m not usually drawn to rose-forward fragrances, and I don’t own any that are particularly rose-heavy, but this one felt wearable and soft. Now for the downside: the longevity is disappointing—on my skin, it barely lasts two hours. Doesn't last on clothing either, which is so unusual. I purchased mine from Nordstrom, and it didn’t come with a travel cap either, which was a bit of a letdown. I'm hoping this is an original. That said, I do love the sleek and elegant design of the bottle—it definitely adds a touch of luxury to the vanity. Update 5/4/25: I ended up returning the bottle I purchased from Nordstrom, as it only lasted about 30 minutes on me. I purchased from Louboutin directly, and there is a difference in the longevity, and the smell. This juice in this bottle is a lot closer to Hibiscus Mahajad and Delina Exclusif, I smell less of the cherry and more of that middle eastern touch. As I said before, I don't have many Rose heavy scents in my collection, and will keep this. I usually where most of my fragrances to work, but not this, not many people will be able to tolerate this.

A dark sort of cherry rum or liquor, mixed with a heady rose and a healthy dose of pepper thrown into the mix. It isn't an immediate love, as I'm very much a gourmand lover, it does remind me of something I had/have in my collection but id need to go through and find what it is, I think it might be a PDM dupe to be honest but I'm not sure ill edit the review when I find out. The opening is a little peppery for me but the dry down is a lot more palatable on my skin, it lasted a good 4/5 hours with just one or two sprays and at the very end I swear it was a nice vanilla skin scent before it disappeared completely. The bottle is completely impractical but absolutely stunning in my opinion, the juice is a nice colour too, similar to a new bottle of Vanilla 28 before it goes that really dark colour. It's definitely a dark, sultry scent. Think date night in a posh restaurant in a really sexy red dress, vampy lipstick, and heels. Dont think this would be safe for work as this isn't a scent everyone could get onboard with, so id highly recommend sampling it beforehand.

Hard to fully describe this one honestly... Rose. But a toxic-poisonous breed of Rose... Peppery-ness? Something naughty such as leather or vinyl? Fruity-ness but turned slightly boozy... It’s strongggg, it’s in your face, it’s piquant and blatantly loud. And yet, there’s something about it that intrigues and drives me crazy (in a sorta good way?)... It’s like the face of someone you find insanely attractive but you know inherently that they are toxic and bad for you. So you want them but you are also repulsed. The longevity on this one was surprisingly short, given the strength of the fragrance itself. As for the look of the bottle, it matches that Louboutin image to perfection with that lethal spike as a cap. It’s ridiculously awesome only the way Christian Louboutin does his thing unapologetically✨✨✨✨ I got it on sale and I will wear it when I’m in the mood for it but beware, this is not blind buy worthy (like those influencers claim it to be!!)

Great fragrance but I have to be honest. As much as we all love Quentin, he loves to bring the same dish to every cook out. This smells very similar to Teriaq Intense. It’s a little less spice and a bit better quality. But he definitely started out with the same peppers, onions, red sauce for this spaghetti 🍝 Also, smells nothing like Very GG Elixir, Pink Me Up or Dior Rouge, imho.

This has great sillage and lasts a long time on my skin. The opening cherry note is really pretty, but that didn’t last long before the rose comes through. It’s a powdery rose on me/to my nose. I wish the cherry lasted longer and that it was less powdery but it gets a ton of compliments!

This smells exactly like Amouroud - Midnight Rose. On my skin they are identical. It is beautiful, but it didn’t wow me the way that was hoping it would. I smell very little cherry and lots of deep dark red rose that becomes powdery in the dry down.

If Quentin Bisch created this, there is 99.9% chance i will like it LOL.

It is the scent of a rose soaked in red wine and left to oxidize into something darker, richer, almost decadent. This is rose at its most unapologetically opulent, not dewy garden freshness or powdery vintage elegance, but rose as luxury object, as fetish, as something to be collected and revered. Plum lends a boozy, jammy sweetness that borders on indecent. Patchouli adds an earthy depth that keeps the composition from ever feeling innocent. Saffron brings a warm, golden glow that smells unmistakably expensive. Beneath it all, leather murmurs softly, like the lining of a Louboutin shoe: supple, animal, impossibly smooth. It conjures red soles and red lips as symbols of power, roses not as romance but as armor, femininity that commands the room rather than courting it. On my skin, however, the effect feels more performative than sensual. The cherry note veers quickly into that almond-cyanide territory I struggle with: pretty, poisonous, and oddly hollow. The composition reads as glossy and architectural, emotionally distant despite its richness. I understand why it’s popular. It projects confidence, luxury, and that unmistakable Louboutin brand of unapologetic opulence. But for me, it feels like projection without interiority. Impressive, yet remote. This fragrance doesn’t bloom so much as preside. It feels like an ode to obsession, to objects made sacred through desire and repetition, to beauty that demands devotion rather than offering warmth. It wears rose like a weapon, velvet soaked in bordeaux. Verdict: a rose as a luxury statement rather than a lived experience. Admirable in construction, but lacking the intimacy that makes a fragrance truly irreplaceable.

If you love the sweetness of Carmina, you actually might not like this as much. They're both definitely different enough that you could own both, but as someone who loves Carmina, I found this too dark. Yes, the dark pepper smell does fade within about 10 minutes and it is full-bodied and I could see the appeal, but this doesn't last long enough for me to want a FB. Additionally, within a couple hours, the perfume loses it's depth and becomes a simply cherry fragrance that doesn't justify the price point, in my opinion. But if you didn't like Carmina, I could see you probably liking Fetiche La Rose.

The first 30 minutes or so are quite charming. The cherry accord is spiced and carries subtle almond nuances, while the rose is dark, unsweetened, and deep red, almost like dried rose petals, slightly bitter, velvety yet dry. It's fused with a prominent, deliciously tangy ginger, which lifts and enhances the pink pepper, producing a vibrant allure. Tangy, syrupy, and mouth wateringly piquant. If you have experienced Quentin Bischs roses, you will recognise him in here. The rose is as usual crisp, but darker this time, a departure from his typical pink, dewy, sweet and very crisp roses. However, I feel like I am waiting for the magic to happen but it does not reveal. Instead something is very much disturbing me in the mid and base. There is a lack of harmony, no real complexity here, nothing to sustain ones intrigue. Just a somewhat rose-y, bland, fruity and woody mélange, leaving little to impress. It feels unrefined and unbalanced, with a synthetic sharpness, almost headache inducing. This may be particular to me personally though as it appears to be quite widely enjoyed by others. It almost seems to connect to a bad scent memory i cannot quite place, leaving me a bit nauseous unfortunately. The late base is a slight improvement but still does little to rescue the composition. To me it remains a disappointment, all the more so given its popularity and being the most online promoted in the line. L'Ambre is far superior. I cannot help but think that if some more darkness and a deep, smooth tobacco note were added it might have done something quite nice in here.. perhaps even steering it toward a more masculine leaning. 5/10

I believe, for some this perfume may seem the epiphany of glamour, seduction and sexiness in a bottle, but for me it's a heavy suffocating scent that I'd never wanted to detect anywhere near me. When I smell it, I can see a certain image: a girl from a fashion world who wants to achieve a lot, and she's so shallow and so unpleasant as a person, that she can eventually make it to the top (but at what cost?). The cherry note in this perfume is not giving me juicy sweet-sour cherry, it's giving me more almond/cyanide kind of vibes (that you can often get from this note). Rose and pepper are heavy as well, very dark but not in a gothic way, more in a "Paris Fashion Week" glamorous way. Long story short: not a fan. Try it before buy it. P.S. perfumes and Scent overall are very subjective, so, please, don't be offended if you like this perfume. It's just what my nose/brain is picking up, plus, don't forget about body chemistry (on my skin this perfume may open in a bad way and on yours it may be an absolute masterpiece) ;)

The reason why so many love the "Quentin Bisch rose" is probably the reason why I don't love it. I think his hallmark note blooms beautifully on some people's skin, but it's a mess on mine. The Q.B. rose gives fragrances an off-putting and screechy punch that I don't enjoy. This, unfortunately, applies to Fetiche La Rose. The opening was promising, starting off as a not-too-sweet candied rose. Less than 5 minutes into the dry down, the sweetness begins to dissipate and Q.B. begins to come to the front. After 10 minutes, it's full Q.B. rose. La Rose mostly gives me Guidance 46 and Delina Ex. It also reminds me of Impadia, which I believe is trying to duplicate the Q.B. rose note. Hibiscus Mahajád also features that distinctive rose. In short, my nose does not love the Q.B. rose note at all, so La Rose is a pass.

Such a fail after all of the hype. I guess Demi's bf is the only one who can get close enough to her to smell this. To my nose, the only thing I detect after about 8 sprays is a faint whiff of dark cherry (and I'm not a fan of that note at all, but I wanted to give this a fair shake because I do love a good rose and I tend to trust Demi). Up close on my skin it just smells like a chemical mess. No rose to my nose. This decant is headed straight to the "sell" bin if not the rubbish bin. What a let down!

I was excited about this, with the hope that Bisch and I could finally become friends. Yet, it's not to be. To me, this is synthetic, bombastic, and cloying. There is something sharp and off-putting here that hits you in the back of your throat. It smells like sugary cough syrup and melted plastic to me. Given the brand, perhaps Mr. Bisch nailed the brief, and I can see the appeal to the Guidance/Delina fans, but it's just not for me.

Mr Bisch creates perfumes for someone else- not me. I don’t like any of his perfumes to the extend to keep any and I have tried a lot. This one is Delina with pepper. This is Blouse with pepper. He goes around and creates the same perfume for every brand. There is a reason he is so famous but I don’t see it. P.S. I can give it that- on the dry down it is definitely much better than Delina, a party, smokey rose scent.

Fétiche La Rose is definitely a statement perfume, but for me it’s a bit too strong. The rose and cherry notes are bold from the first spray and quickly becomes overpowering. It lasts for hours and projects heavily - great if you love loud fragrances, but not ideal if you prefer something softer. The fragrance is well-crafted and elegant, just too intense for my taste and ultimately a little off-putting.

Ashamed to say I was again ‘influenced’ to buy this. I think I might just have to put myself out there and say I don’t think I like Quentin Bisch fragrances. I appreciate them, but they might just not be for me. This fragrance feels a bit all over the place and I do get dark rose, but nothing that special or that I want to smell like... I would not blind buy this unless you love Bisch and rose

Smoothly-blended and sophisticated spicy rose with cherry. I can see this appealing to both cherry lovers who don't typically like rose, and rose lovers who don't typically like cherry. It's also beast mode. One spray on the back of my hand and another on my wrist, and I can STILL smell this many hours later, after multiple hand washings and a full shower.
