Onda de Mar Extrait de Parfum

Fantastic scent. Beautiful fruity opening which then settles into a marine, salty dry down. It's sweet, but not enough to be off putting. It's strong for the people around you so take it easy on the sprays. I do 3 small sprays : One on the inside of my arms and one behind the neck. Lasts 12h+ . I noticed i go full noseblind to it after smelling it up close for a few times, so please do not re-apply and possibly choke out some people. Spray it away from your nose and you'll get whiffs of it throughout the day. It's easy to wear if you dial in the sprays. I wore it in hot weather (30°C+) and it turned into a weird-sour-like salty smell. Recommended for Spring and cooler summer days/nighttime. Great release from Christian Provenzano 9/10.

Living by the sea, I have a great fondness for marine scents, but at the same time, my nose has become increasingly demanding over time. When I tried Onda de Mar, I couldn't help but love this fragrance because, in my opinion, it represents the memory of the sea: it's a beautifully balanced scent, with salty notes present but not overpowering, surrounded by delicate fruity, sparkling, and slightly citrusy notes. The hedione note in the heart gives it an intrinsic sensuality that truly makes it wonderful. It made me think of a distant beach vacation, where the water is crystal clear, where you refresh yourself with fruit and cocktails, caressed by the breeze. Onda de Mar is one of my favorite marine fragrances. The opening hits me with a very juicy, sweet pineapple and on my skin a VERY weird seaweed note, that instantly puts me in a beach vacation mood, while the salty marine notes keep everything fresh and balanced. The lavender adds a clean, slightly aromatic touch that makes the whole composition feel incredibly smooth. As it dries down, it becomes saltier and more oceanic without losing the fruity sweetness. It reminds me a little of Megamare. The performance is fantastic too, with excellent longevity and strong projection. 8/10 (first impressions) 7/10 after i used a while

Quick review for now: 9.3, and very unisex in my opinion. The lavender combined with the seaweed and marine ocean hits really hard at first, yet is gentle. Very complex dry-down due to pineapple and other fruits, and the base notes help extend the duration of it drastically. Not blind buy safe, but worth it to sample at least once due to it's uniqueness. One of the only ocean fragrances that would actually be really good during night-time. This is how I imagine 40 knots would have smelled like if they weren't trying to make it so crowd-appealing.

This just reminds me of Hawaii, i have the fondest memories of eating the juiciest fruit on the beach, mangos, pineapples, coconuts (are coconut a fruit???...) This fragrance is so dank, juicy fruity, and to me absolutely captivating, makes me want to go back to Hawaii. I purchased a sample of megamare to compare side by side, megamare did not have the same “je ne sais quoi” as onda de mar, i think both fragrances are very intriguing, and loud, but onda de mar is the one for me

This right here. Hands down the best Aquatic ive come across. Like floating in the ocean 5 miles off the coast of Hawaii with the deep blue underneath you. The open is a little sweet but balanced beautifully by the lavender and marine notes. The pineapple and bitter orange set it off with a perfect tropical touch.The marine note is saltwater like with a touch of seaweed . It's blended incredibly smooth, not as loud as aqua sapphire/megamare DNA.

Very, very fruity. Feminine leaning. Pineapple and orange dominate the opening and they last much longer than one would expect into the dry down. Underlying sea notes, aquatic notes, and/or seaweed are dialed way down. But they are discernible in the mid. So if you are someone who doesn't like strong marine scents, don't worry with this one. My issue is that it is too sweet and feminine, and I am a guy who owns plenty of feminine leaning fragrances including things like Kilian Love Don't be Shy. I think this will be very well received and popular. It is a high quality fruity freshie with a subtle aquatic component. I would buy this for a wife or girlfriend, but not for myself. 7.5/10

This is a more palatable megamare DNA. The pineapple pops off my skin in the opening and stays around a long time. The marine notes feel kind of airy if that makes sense, and the dry down reminds me slightly of Nauvitus Vivamor mixed with BTV Aqua Sapphire. I did not like Vivamore or Aqua Sapphire, but I like this a lot. It's not a nuke like most things that are Megamare adjacent, but it's no slouch either. I'm debating a bottle as I always wanted to like this DNA but every interpretation was just too jarring. This is a smooth, fruity, sweet-ish version that's awesome. I dont agree that it leans fem in the dry down. It's mostly unisex with a masculine opening.

This one is nice. This is a very distinctive marine scent, but very well done and very smooth. This scent is unisex leaning feminine to my nose. If you are looking for a pleasant, smooth marine fragrance for the summer, Onda de Mar is a good option to try.

To my nose this is mint, seaweed and salt... has a little bit of that ocean air vibe, the mint makes it cooling and the seaweed smells salty and marine... Also don't see mint listed here, this is just smell I get from it

very, very pineapple with sugar for me. I didn't even focus on the rest of the notes, I don't like perfumes that are too sweet and that's about it, but the perfume is very good for those who like sweet perfumes.

Nice aquatic notes looks really nice.
