Khalisa

From the entire selection of feminine leaning fragrances from the Sicilian house of Ciatu, Khalisa is for me the most similar scent to today’s international perfumes. I mean this could be sold by any designer today in any country in Europe, I couldn’t find the connection between this and something specific in Sicily. Khalisa is a complex fruity floral, spicy, woody without any twist or uniqueness! It’s a very beautiful and balanced scent. Smells great and natural like the rest of the line. Surely everyone wouldn’t mind smelling it, it’s nearly a safe blind buy in my opinion. The other two feminine offerings had a particularity that made them stand out from the rest for me. Pretty scent though, with moderate performance. Packaging wise, Khalisa was also my least favourite design and colour palette. What I mean by that, different shades of green everywhere: on the packaging, front of bottles and cap.

You get about 5-10 seconds of peach and then the scent becomes a very peppery/ spicey, green and woody scent. There is another scent which i can't identify, like burning seeds but i don't like it. Not for me.

📍Khalisa This is shareable and truly different. It feels like the history of Sicily is being told through perfume. Something exotic, deeply local, and cultural. In fact, all fragrances from this brand seem to follow this philosophy — they are handcrafted works of art, and the experience is unique, exactly as one would imagine.
