Amazing perfume! Juicy apple and osmanthus with a hint of fig nectar. Stays on for much longer than expected.

Tried in their store the entire line of scents from Ciatu. Some were too much for me, some were underwhelming either as smell or performance. Ortigia is smelling absolutely beautiful but it doesn’t perform that well. It’s a delicate fig. Very feminine and ethereal! Opening is very fruity. Smells like a muted but sweet fig, green apple and osmanthus combo. Later on, in the dry down becomes a woody fruity combo from the sandalwood. It’s a smooth and well balanced scent and I love fig in here. I normally don’t like fig! Really natural smelling and moderately sweet but very light scent with an intimate sillage. Packaging is locally inspired and hand made. Bottle looks absolutely gorgeous with a print of the Duomo of Syracuse on the front, a stunning blue artisanal cap made of ceramic, representing a Moor’s head, a very popular decorative design on the island! If only would have performed better..

I surprisingly pick up apple in this. Usually my nose doesn't recognised apple but with this, I get a sour apple maybe even with a hint of citrus. A cross between jolly rancher green candy and a sour apple sweet. It does show up quite synthetic I think. The fig is light, which also surprised me. It's quite a pleasant scent, sweet but sour with a very laid back tone. I don't really get the woody side. I consider this one to be quite unique and it is rather strong. I wouldn't go for a full bottle if i am honest, but it's not bad. I think it could be a room spray.

Was so excited for this, but definitely a scrubber for me. All I’m getting is a super artificial green apple mixed with florals, reminiscent of a cheap bathroom air freshener. I don’t pick up on any fig or woody notes unfortunately. Not a safe blind buy
