Looking at a couple of the newer releases from the house of City Rhythm, starting with DC. This fragrance is inspired by the vibrant energy of a cosmopolitan spring evening in Washington, D.C., a city famously known for its incredible cherry blossom trees that transform the landscape every spring. So, let's take a walk through the capital and see what this one brings to the table. The opening gives you a sweet, juicy burst of pear and cherry. There is a nice fruity brightness here, but it is balanced by the delicate floral touch of sakura (cherry blossom) and the subtle spice from pink pepper. The result is a fresh and inviting opening that feels vibrant without becoming overly sweet or syrupy. After about 15 to 20 minutes, the fragrance starts to settle into something smoother. The slightly tart edge from the fruit softens, and the fragrance leans more into the floral side. The jasmine becomes more noticeable, bringing a richer, more elegant floral character, while the gardenia adds a creamy, lush quality that blends beautifully with the remaining fruity nuances running throughout the scent. After around an hour and a half to two hours, the dry down begins to show itself. The vanilla comes forward along with a warm, musky amber that gives the fragrance a comforting depth. A touch of dry cedar also starts to peek through in the later stages, adding just enough woodiness to keep the sweeter notes balanced. I'm not as familiar with feminine-leaning fragrances as I am with masculine leaning ones, but a friend mentioned that this reminded them of something in the Burberry Her line. I can't say how accurate that comparison is since I haven't spent enough time with those fragrances, and I also can't speak to the comparisons with Lattafa Yara. What I can say is that this is a beautiful feminine-leaning fragrance built around juicy cherry blossom, soft fruits, elegant florals, and a warm, creamy base. It has a strong presence and excellent longevity, but on my skin it never crosses the line into being overly sweet or overwhelming. It lasted the entire day for me, and even though it leans feminine, it smells so good that it doesn't affect my personal rating at all. I'm honestly surprised this one isn't getting more attention. Maybe it does share similarities with other fragrances out there, but whatever the case may be, this is a great scent in its own right. I would love to smell this on anyone, and if DC is any indication of what City Rhythm's newer releases have to offer, I'm excited to explore more of the line.

City Rhythm once again releases another quality fragrance. It a perfect scent for the summer. I will say it is unisex but leans a little more feminine. If you enjoy fruity/florally scents, I would definitely recommend.

It’s alright honestly smells to me like a conditioner a woman would wear and honestly the longevity is pretty trash it barley last on my skin I have to overspray it to even make it last honestly wouldn’t purchase a full bottle thankfully I got a sample before I bought the full bottle when I smelled it in store it smelled amazing but when u take it on a test drive of day to day living it doesn’t seem to hold up very well it just disappears I mean I get why they used florals like cherry blossoms and fruit so it honestly just disappears for the price point and what it offers it’s honestly way to mediocre to pick up I’m usually a big fan of city rhythms but dc was honestly a big let down 6/10 wouldn’t repurchase a full bottle I mean the price is now around 200$ for a 100ml this is a skip for me don’t purchase it unless u wanna be let down. Also way too synthetic smelling smells like what ambre oud gold edition smells like but tone down.

This reminds me of Middle Eastern cheapies like Yara. Sure it smells pleasant but it's like a generic fruity-creaminess that reminds you of V05 shampoo. This smells very cheap to me. Please save your coins. This scent for the price is not it. And it's not even like it's that scent profile but done more elevated. No this smells like a cheap d○○p of Yara. Hard pass.

Smells to me like a soap made for a baby or small child. Not a bad smell, but floral and really sweet. Something even screechy to my nose, and if i smell too much i kind of get nauseous. Definitely feminine, but is unisex. Not something i can wear too often alone, but solid to layer in moderation for me. Would recommend in the spring mostly.

Was excited for this one based on the notes, but yeah, comments on how it essentially smells like a woman's shampoo are dead on. You would think this would be more predominantly cherry, but to me after an initial blast of cherry on the opening, the dry down is pure pear and florals.

Got a sample and all i can say is WOW! This is just beautiful. Been collecting frags on and off for 10 years and this is the first one EVER where my gf asked if she could spray some on herself after smelling me. Its just a well put together fruity floral. Off the top I get mostly the cherry and pear notes. Jasmine in there but its never indolic which i appreciate. Dries down to the most serene smelling silk and cedar combo. Just a very calming and serene smelling frag. Full bottle worthy easily. I will be buying mine as soon as i finish this review lol 4.5/5. Almost perfection, imo only missing a slight bit more projection. Longevity is great though

This is a very beautiful pear scent, it reminds me if blue talisman was made feminine leaning rather than unisex. Really good, even as a guy I wear this on the regular
