Red Line 2654

Was honestly super hyped to get this fragrance after seeing many reviews tout 2654 as one of the best sunscreen-y summer scents which I was in the market for as I'm currently ripping through my LV City Of Stars and wanted more options. Dropped a pretty little penny for international shipping and I just received it yesterday so this review may get updated as time goes on. Scent: To put it simply as a fresh citrus, sunscreen and vanilla scent lover, this is absolutely beautiful. The opening was a really lime fresh yet creamy sweet which the sweetness reminded me of another frag that I couldn't quite put my finger on till today, it reminded me of the opening of BR540 but with added freshness which is an easy win to my nose. Dries down into this sweet, sugary vanilla with a little bit of booziness that kind of resembled Bailey's Irish Cream to me but not as potent. Performance (Updated 04/11/25): Yeah this motherfucker PROJECTS. This is my updated performance review as previously I suspected that I might’ve gone nose blind to the notes as I could only catch whiffs of 2654 in the air randomly throughout the day and now I’ve confirmed that yeah it’s just my nose. Everyone around me smells this scent filling up the room with that beautiful creamy scent trail as well. Versatility: It's a sweet creamy freshie so yeah, to this is what a true versatile scent is supposed to smell like during day or night use for any occasion. That's why anyone would choose this over Miami (which I sampled) as Miami's just a little TOO creamy and is a little too cloying in high heat days, similar to Paradise Garden. Scent: 9.5/10 Performance: 8.5/10 (Updated) Versatility: 10/10 Personal Score: 9/10 I genuinely love the scent profile so much for the warm climate that I live in to the point that I am willing to rate this over Herbes Troublantes. Like heaven to my nostrils.

Ignore everything I have said in the past, this is fucking amazing. At first I was a hater too, but after wearing it a few times (had a decant) I was addicted. Now I finally picked up a basically brand new 100ml for $120 second hand, and I just love it even more. This and manhattan midnight are the only two city rhythms I recommend picking up, everything else is not worth the price. Anyways, this fragrance is amazing. Like I said in the past, this really reminds me of a a fizzy tropical chaser. I really like this one, its unique, you will never find anyone else smelling like this in the average world. One thing niles is great at doing is making fragrances last forever. This lasts easily 10-12 hours. 2654 can be worn year around, but shines in the summer. I really recommend trying this one (especially if you tried it before and disliked it) give it a few wears and you will find the true beauty behind it. 8.7/10

Fragrance Journal Entry #181 So from what i understand this is a hybrid of their 2 best sellers, Miami & San Diego...and the distance between those 2 cities is 2654 miles hence the name. I have to give the brand props for listening to their customers and taking a risk to provide this excellent scent. Everything in this fragrance blends together seemlessly to create this creamy tropical masterpiece, lime and coconut are always a winning formulation and with the other added notes they made something unique with mass appeal. Where this one falls short for me is in the performance category, i get decent longevity but the projection is quite intimate, either that or it's easy to go nose blind to. I'm half way through my sample and i'm still on the fence of whether or not to buy a full bottle, quite pricey. Rating: 8.7/10 Blind Buy Safe? YES

favorite fragrance i have ever smelled. the beautiful blend of the vanilla and rum with the citrusy summer focused top notes is absolutely astonishing. typically with these note blends they smell medicinal, or extremely off putting, but when done right, they can be perfect, but also very reliable. can be worn in any season due to sweetness, fruit, citrus, and hot weather focused top and middle notes. best season - summer worst - spring performance isn't anything crazy, lasts 7+ hours on my skin with no problem. unless you have a reason to care about this, it's pretty fair. projection is also good. 4 sprays will last the entire day and people can smell you without it being overly strong from 6 feet away. overall this is just an amazing fragrance all around. can't believe some people actually hate this, 10/10.

Unique, great performance and smells fantastic. From the first smell I knew this was going to be a signature for me. The scent: think a fuzzy sweet slightly tropical vanilla. It’s not a cloying gourmand vanilla but more a smooth fresh vanilla. Sweet, citrusy and vanilla. The fizzy or fuzz vibe is hard to explain but you understand once you smell it. Over all this is super unique. Not having depth is not an issue here. It doesn’t evolve on your skin but it doesn’t need to. From the first spray it’s a show stopper and once it dries down it just becomes even more smooth. This can be worn all year around to. It’s bright and citrusy enough for summer but also vanilla and sweet enough for winter. This my friend is a 10/10

Honestly this fragrance is mind-blowingly good. It is extremely unique, extremely versatile, and probably my favorite daily scent so far that I've tried out of my 100+ fragrances. The fruity refreshing citrus on top of that smooth rich vanilla is something I can't get over. Dudes be saying this is only for Spring and Summer like that's literally crazy. This is really really sweet which allows it to be pulled off in the Fall and Winter. I think it probably fits the best for the Spring and Fall rather than the Summer actually but it is super hot where I live so sweetness gets cloying really easy. Either way it's in my main rotation and a GOATED daily wear fragrance (don't be fooled by the spring summer goons)

There’s an undeniable energy to it, like a perfect summer day wrapped in a bottle. But what really gets me is the performance—this thing lingers. I already know it’s going to be all over me this summer because I won’t want to stop wearing it. If you’re looking for a summer fragrance that stands out, this is it. City Rhythm absolutely killed it with 2654!

Super unique summer scent. Very interesting scent profile, perfect for summer nights. With all fragrances I try to focus on the aesthetic or scenario that a cologne smells like. With 2654, it smells like being at an outdoor beach bar with a margarita. This is due to the rum, lime and sugar that I smell most prominently in this scent. Without the coconut, ambergris and flower notes, I would only wear it at night. But with those notes included, it's more than suitable for a day wear. Not blind buy safe, but gets solid compliments. 9/10 Good projection, scent profile, and longevity. Rum and Lime are the best notes in this fragrance.

Bought a sample about a week ago, and after wearing it throughout the week I knew I had to pick up a full bottle. As someone with a smaller collection (and a preference for sweet fragrances), I already know this is going to be an absolute staple during the spring and summer. It opens up with an incredibly inviting coconut and citrus, and dries down to a sweet vanilla, maintaining that citrus throughout. It performs well for me, maybe 5 hours of projection and a longevity of 8 hours on skin, 10 on clothes. Overall I believe it is a 9/10. Perfect for someone just starting their collection.

This the perfect tropical type of fragrance I have been looking for. I bought a decant for this and then immediately had to get a full bottle after testing it. This stuff is a parfum extrait making it very long lasting. My friend told me he could still smell it projecting off me after I had been wearing for 10 hours. This is how I wanted JPG paradise garden to smell but the Le Beau line has a weird muskiness to it that I don't enjoy for a tropical scent. This stuff is perfect and has become my new signature scent.

The initial smell on this is absolutely amazing. Smells very sweet, tropical, and fruity. In my opinion it’s very generic at all. It’s as generic as it needs to be to fit into the tropical category, but unique enough to stand out. The dry down brings out the rum, ambergris, salt, and vanilla. It projects very very far at the beginning, room filling. After a few hours it goes to several feet or more. It lasts about 6-8 hours. Definitely a blind buy if you love sweet and tropical fragrances.

Yeah I'm def gate keeping this one idgaf. I've tried several in this line and they're very good quality with nice smelling fragrances but this one and its twin brother Tempo are hands down the champion. I got a 10ml sample of both and took them out for a spin. Both project really well and the reaction you get from people when they sniff it is unreal!! Performance is maybe 14 hours with projection 6 hours. If you're reading this I don't care what you like, this is glory lol

2654 by City Rhythm is a fresh, fruity but also has a nice sweetness to it. This is one of my favorites summer scents because it is really easy to wear and the performance is great aswell wich you dont see on a lot of freshies. I also prefer 2654 over miami because i think miami it too sweet all i get is lime and sugar but with the 2654 wich is a combination of miami and san diego really is the sweet spot for me! 10/10 for sure also a safe blind buy in my opinion!

My wife and I are total fragrance junkies and have quite a collection of niche and designer and I have to say that when my wife handed me a sample of this today and I sprayed it I was wowwed ! This is not the usual profile that I like but WOW ! This is a creamy fuity summery fragrance with some real performance. When you add the price point to the profile and the quality I have to say this is is a VERY SOLID fragrance for men or women.

on my skin for the first 30 minutes or so during the dry down period I can barely smell anything at all and then out of nowhere it just smacks you in the face with a very loud lime & blood orange combo that lasts all day long. I love this scent and personally think it's the best in the lineup. I live in the southern humid heat and can honestly say this is one of the only fragrances I have that thrives in the hot/humid weather.

This is a really great fragrance, I bought the travel size of this and Miami Tropical confession and I like this one but the other one is better. This has the smell of Miami but with a twist, you can smell the blood orange, juniper, and sugar cane very prominently. I really like it. Wearability 8.5/10 Longevity 10/10 Performance 10/10 Projection 10/10 Smell 9/10 Overall 9.5/10 Personal Rating 9.5/10

My boyfriend had been rocking a travel size of this perfume for a few weeks, I always smelled his trail and it was intoxicating. I decided to buy a full-size bottle for myself. I wore it for the first time tonight and the atomizer is incredible. I got a few compliments tonight wearing it, definitely an attractive scent.

Very nice unique freshy, citrus and powder, with a deep background of tonka and amber. Also a green freshy. I like it top 5 CR. Not sure if I am buying it over Martha Vineyard or San Diego yet. But i could see my wearing this in the summer. UPDATE this stands the test of time and may in fact be the best CR frag

Oh man this is good, like REALLY good. It has the potential to become a favorite. The opening to the mid leans more tropical with the almond, vanilla, and Tonka really stating to shine deep in the dry down. I love both phases equally. I haven’t tried the individual fragrances yet but this is damn near perfect.

One the best fragrances out there. It combines Miami and San Diego into a beautiful fragrances that can be worn anytime of the year. I had a problem with my order and the owner himself reached out to me and fixed it. You can’t get that anywhere else. 10/10
