The salty and sweet opening is an orange thats deep not photorealistic nor is it anywhere near synthetic. The scent carries a vibe where I picture walking through Laguna Beach or the Gaslamp District in DTSD. The floral notes and spices are subtle but linger at the tip of your tongue not clearly identifiable (my nose may need training), you feel like you’re near the beach but not on the beach if that makes sense. This scent is warm and easy to enjoy. It’s a bit linear but in a wonderful way, it’s definitely a consistent vibe that sticks with you as you go about your day. A beautiful scent with incredible performance that creates an intimate scent bubble for 12+ hours. It’s playful not cloying and carries many subtleties that my younger self would not of appreciated. This has been my favorite pickup easily in the last 10 years.

If you are looking for a more underground fragrance to blind buy; this is the one. Heavy blood orange and lavender notes up front (emphasis on blood orange). It is a safe yet alluring buy for anyone who enjoys a very sweet and subtle citrus aroma. You get very floral and nutty middle notes with sweet and aquatic base notes that make for a very unique and enjoyable scent profile. Highly recommended for hot summer days (85 to 95 degrees) as that’s when it will perform the best, but you can really wear it in any warm environment. From my experience: Longevity: 4-9 hours Silage: Three feet for the first two hours, a foot around until around hour five or six, then becomes a skin scent through the rest of it’s longevity. 9.5/10

City Rhythm San Diego is a smooth bright fragrance that captures the essence of summer. It comes off as a slightly aquatic and aromatic scent with some sea salt and vanilla in the background that gives it a boost. The main notes I get are blood orange, sea salt, sea notes, juniper berries, vanilla and a hint of almond. I get around 6 to 9 hours with this with around 6 to 10 sprays on skin. The projection is decent for the first 4 hours but then it slowly weakens over time. I would say this leans slightly more masculine but can easily be worn by both men and women. Overall I think is a great fragrance to get and is worth it if you can find it on a discount

Finally sampled it for the first time today. No doubt about it, it’s instantly added to the “full bottle buy list” along with Miami and Manhattan. I love this one and it’s actually one of only a select few my wife has said she really likes. That’s saying a lot! This changes as it dries and I am absolutely blown away. It opens so, so juicy. Not cloying or sickly sweet but juicy sweet, like a 100% real fruit ice block. The smooth sophisticated iris makes an appearance as it starts to dry. And the creamy almond steps up the further it dries down. It is blended so well and I’ve spent all evening sniffing at my arm. A must have for me.
