Le Violon

My absolute favorite fresh fragrance to date. Anywhere anytime dress up or down funeral or wedding movies club courtdate.

Ok so this is ultra green and in your face. I can see how this can be favoured by some but it smells too earthy, greeny for me. I don't smell any of the citruses really just the patchouli, nutmeg and vetiver. In my mind i keep pitching it up against what i'd want a greeny fragrance to smell like and that's PDM's Greenley. To me that's much more of an aromatic green scent i enjoy more. I'm good on this one.

I have no idea why there are no reviews on this fragrance. It is beautiful. Imagine a time lapse video of a citrus tree growing, but in reverse. You can see the sweet citrus fruits retreating back into the branches of the tree, leaving you with only the sweet smell of the green leaves and young wood (jasmine,vetiver, and labdanum) that you get right before the tree bears fruit. Going back farther in time, after the new branches also retreat back into much larger, older branches and the trunk, you get the strong and distinctive scents of wood, and earth, with a subtle sweetness that gives you the first hint of the type of beautiful tree that this will eventually become ( ginger, sandalwood, cedar and patchouli).
