Clean Shower Fresh for Men

This should really be more popular. If it were not associated with a house that mainly focuses on women's products it would. This is one of my favorites for all year wear, specifically warm weather but it's good for fall as well. It is a very clean scent but adds spicy notes to give it character and separate itself from the norm. The tea and mint notes are subdued. Sillage is astounding with longevity up to 12 hours. The only thing I can think of that's even in the same ballpark is Rochas Aquaman which I love as well. Very well priced. Ladies pick this up for your man because I doubt if he will!!

I tested this at Kohls, and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this fragrance. I finally ordered a bottle from Fragrancenet, and I have to say: I'm in love! True to its name, Clean Shower Fresh does smell like you've just stepped out of the shower while using a very fresh smelling body wash. To me the name of this fragrance is not a gimmick, but rather the evocation and embodiment of cleanliness. This lasts a long time too (rare for a fresh fragrance!). 10/10, I would recommend this hands down for a no fuss, fresh casual fragrance. I only wish it were easier to find.

The only notethat is missing above is muguet (Lily-of-the-Valley), as per CLEAN's website. I have had this scent for quite sometime, before it was added to this database, and I love it and think it is a very well-made clean and fresh scent that isn't too "soapy". CLEAN Shower Fresh for Men really reminds me of a beautiful man, just out of the shower, the water still dripping off him as he dries himself and shakes his hair and stands clean, natural and sexy! Didn't realize I have not reviewed this one here. Let me first say....this isn't as "fresh" as I would have thought. It actually has quite a bit of depth to it. When I think fresh I think Mugler Cologne, Atelier, something along a wet shower, aquatic... this has much more going on for it. It as if someone took a really high end version of Irish Spring soap and infused it with spices and mints. The spiciness seems to be from the thyme (sharp/spicy/citrus...) and the mint. This isn't as minty as Roadster or Geranium Pour Monsieur however the mint is present and really adds a unique combination to the soapy vibe. I didn't really respect this fragrance as first and because I paid so little for it (around $15 at a clearance T.J Maxx) I would use it sparingly. I have come to appreciate this as one of my best warm weather fragrances but could be used any day you want some freshness. Due to the depth and weight of it, this fragrance really could be worn year around. I think the colder weather would make one believe out of the shower fresh but the summer brings this out with a bite. I really can't judge the price... I would argue that this competes with any designer and would even be a fresh version of any niche line (better than Tom Ford's Neroli Portifino) Overall if you are looking for fresh with an edge this is one to go to. The longevity and projection are great, the soapy quality makes it wonderful for a nice signature work/church/close quarters (don't overspray though) and the depth could make this great for romantic night. Very versatile and the performance puts this in a 4.25 range.

After several more wears, my opinion is still the same: This stuff smells like "wet-naps" when you apply it. It has that synthetic lemon smell of a hand-wipe you get on an airplane or at a casino. Personally, I love that smell and I find it refreshing. Although the lemon in this is too strong at first to exude "Shower Fresh", it calms down and the remaining fragrance does smell more like that of having just showered. It's simple, it's clean and it's unoffensive in my opinion. 7.5/10 for me---I'm dinging it half a point for the misleading name. It's good stuff, I enjoy it and i will be trying more CLEAN's.

I wasn't sure about this one at first. It opens with a strong burst of lemon lime then settles into a fresh soapy dry down. Great scent for one of those hot days when you don't really feel like wearing a scent.After wearing this for a week it grew on me. My mom complimented me on this one so I would consider it a safe buy if you can cat h it at a discount.

Smells like citrus flavoured black tea in a fresh way. I also get a hint of mint and cardamon in the background. Pleasant, simple and perfect to wear when you just want to refresh yourself.

This is one of those scents that if you smell it directly you may not like it. This is a scent that smells good when it hits the air. Just a little food for thought.

strong lemon lime blast in the begining. Dries down to a soapy fresh shower scent. Works best when just getting out of the shower. This is definately unisex.

I smelled this at as a tester on my hand today, so I didn't wear it for a whole day. It's lemon and citrus and it projects well in the beginning. However I'm sorry to say that the longevity is not that good on my skin. Within three hours the scent was totally gone (not even a skin scent). Also... This perfume is quite simple. I guess that's nice if you like the, fresh and plain, but to be honest - you probably won't be able to smell much difference between this and your toilet freshener. The worst thing about this thing...? THE PRICE. If it wasn't for the insanely overpriced tag, then this could probably go as a plain - before working out cologne... But it's expensive, and that's why this is a joke. Im sorry for the guys out there who loves it. It's not for me... :/ Scent 3/10 Longevity 2/10 Projection 6/10 Design 2/10

Citrus blast, then... just a milder version of the same. I can see the point of this perfum as inherent in its name. The problem for me is that’s it’s just not interesting enough to compel me to purchase a full bottle. It’s also a bit overpriced in my opinion- 40-50 bucks on eBay? I can point you to many, many better fresh fragrances at the same price point or better. Value just isn’t there, and the scent is decent but forgettable. Not recommended unless it’s at the TJMarshalls for $20 or less and you want a generic citrus freshie for summer daily wear.

I tried Clean Fresh Shower for Men while out and about this afternoon. What did I get out of this fragrance? Well, I pretty much get shower gel - not unpleasant, but also not very good. Moreover, I happened to apply a couple of overlapping sprays to an arm with Boss Bottled Unlimited (which I actually like) and results were less than stellar: Fresh Shower + Bottled Unlimited = Axe...yikes! Performance was mediocre and, overall, I did not enjoy this fragrance. As with all things, try it for yourselves because your mileage may vary.

Bright, with refreshingly sharp citrus and mint zest that’s slightly spiced. It’s light and nice, but not deep. Not enough projection, but pleasantly mossy when smelled up close and even though it’s not terribly soapy, it does have notes of shower gel. It’s generically enjoyable, but not my style.

I totally agree with the reviewers that says this is not a fresh out of the shower scent, all i can smell is a sharp strong lemon vibe that i dont really find to plesant, not my kind of fragrance at all i'll pass this one easy.

Received free sample...., imo...terrible. Not a pleasant smell, more like some kind of cleaner you would not wnat to wear. I'll pass on this one.

This stuff is truly terrible. All it smells like is some kind of lemon scented cleaning wipe. It's disgusting.

I have a sample sprayer. My first impression on Clean shower Fresh for Men was really good. I expected a citrus fragrance (based on the name and the reviews on Fragrantica). There isnt much citrus to smell, actually, it's flowers all the way. Today I applied it and actually I didn't really like it. It was very, very strong (3 sprays) and I even tried to scrub a little off. The flowery smell makes it unisex. I miss some exciting notes, it's just "fresh". Indeed, it resembles an out of the shower freshness. Projection is enormous. 6,5/10

Meh. Don’t get me wrong, it is indeed a clean shower gel smell (as the name suggests) Perhaps a bit too sharp upon first spray, like lemon cleaning detergent. However, the black tea-note in the base is interesting. It’s way too overpriced for a fragrance like this. There are many cheaper alternatives if you prefer scents like this one. I didn’t really get any good projection either. Save your money. (Or wait until sales.)

This opens with a potent blast sour lemon/lime which doesn't really work for me, but might for others. The dry down is a lot better when the other notes blend in. Overall, not great, but not bad for wearing outdoors during the summer months. If you can find it in the discount rack at TJ Maxx or Marshall's it's probably one of the better ones you'll find.

I am a woman whose favorite scent is mugler cologne. I'm always looking for other options that are similar. The female version of this was no good. I've heard this one is much better and Could Be unisex. Can anyone confirm or deny that this Can Be unisex? I've never smelled this one. Thanks

@esteban747 the title is certainly deceiving I totally agree with you and share your frustration. This has nothing to do with fresh shower smell folks it's all about cardamom/citrusy vibe you get like other hundreds of generic boring new releases.

Summer Scent: 7/10 Opens with a citrus, the tea note becomes a bit more noticeable in the dry down. Silage 4/10 Longevity 4/10

Just unpleasant citrus and nothing but citrus. Save your money and scrub yourself with a lemon.

A decent lime scent for the guy who enjoys wetshaving.
