Fresh Laundry & Lavender Eau Fraiche

This is an absolutely stunningly good perfume! I bought it last year and have nearly emptyed the big bottle ... because I love it so much ... but, I have stored a second bottle in case of emergency - it means - if and when it will be discontinued. First it is the lovely lavender, it's so fresh and yes; "laundry" clean, and than there is the warm amber, I can slightly detect the musk, and the rest of notes are more of a mish-mash, I really can't tell what smell is what. If you are a lavendel-lover like me, than this is the right perfume for you. -And, for everybody else, it fits the young and old at hearts, and of all kinds of gender :)) I give it a solid 10/10

My favorite perfume of all time. It's so saddening that it's discontinued but luckily I have 2 backup bottles. It could be stronger but it's expected as it's an eau de toilette. If you overspray it will last and project quite a bit. It's so clean, but at the same time classy and unisex, leaning ever so slightly to the masculine side because of the lavender but it's balanced beautifully and has a lot of femininity to it as well. My dream is that they bring this back in an edp concentration.

I have tried much of the Clean line and this is one of my favorites. On my skin, which has a bad tendency to change fragrance notes for the worse, it smells exactly as advertised - clean laundry with a hint of lavender. It's a body spray so go hog wild, you can't put too much on. I love to use this at nights as a relaxing fragrance experience before bed fragrance. If you enjoy Clean's various cotton scents and also enjoy lavender, I think you could safely blind buy this. Lastly, you get a ton (5.9 fl oz) for a reasonable price, so you don't have to feel guilty if you regularly take a bath in it.

Very very generic lavender. It smells like any Lavender perfume that costs $30.00 or less. Is it bad? No. Is it good? Meh. I bought it for less than $20 but even for that price I would not buy it again. I think it works great as a room spray. Longevity is poor, sillage is poor (which is somewhat expected with fresh scents...). 30 minutes tops. The name is perfect, the description is perfect, the scents smells exactly what you think it's going to smell. I don't detect any patchouli or anise. Just lavender, florals, musk and green notes.

I adore the original Fresh Laundry and have owned several bottles of it over the years. This version, with the lavender...well, let's just say I would have had similar results if I had just spritzed some water on my arm. No sillage, no throw, nothing. It faded within two minutes of spraying.

Successful blind buy - I bought it based on the review below - thanks, Mona Lygra! I was worried about the lavender but it’s sexy combined with the fresh laundry effect. Although I hoped it would be a Febreze style lavender, it is more like an authentic lavender but it actually works sexily. Once it settles on my skin, the lavender subsides and the fresh laundry scent remains. It reminds me most closely of the Bold brand fabric soap that we have in the UK. Bold is my favourite. The overall scent sort of sparkles and twinkles if that makes sense, possibly because of the fruit? The overall scent seems strong enough to be noticed by others but not strong enough to smell like I’m wearing perfume. I think people will comment on how clean I smell rather than what a nice perfume. But we’ll wait and see. I feel clean, fresh and slightly sexy wearing this fragrance. It’s suitable for everyone - from very young to the elderly, also female and male as well as other genders. It may be a great fragrance to wear to a business meeting or job interview because it might imply that you are clean and therefore efficient. Could also be worn on a date, where you might to seem naturally sexy. To be worn when you want to impress or stand out. The downside is the longevity - 2 hours and it’s gone. I want to try the others in the range now!

I don't have much of a review on this one, though I did try it several years ago at Kohl's and remember I liked it. I am currently in love with lavender scents, and this one came back to mind. I remember it was a really pretty scent, but Kohl's only had a large bottle of it and I really just wanted to have a small purse size version, but I had looked and couldn't find it. In fact, it seemed to be a special product that may only be available through Kohl's, but I could be wrong! And if like most of Clean's scents I have tried, I would expect it to have the performance of a body spray (and that's fine with me if the scent is good enough!). I am going to keep an eye out for this one and probably purchase soon! Update: So in my current lavender obsession phase, I picked this up for $14. It's nice. A typical Clean perfume house scent, with bright laundry notes mixed with fresh, equal parts lavender notes. It lasts all day for me with 3 sprays under clothing. I like, don't love this one.

The original Fresh Laundry by Clean smells like Downy fabric softener to me, so I thought this was going to smell like Downy plus lavender. Nope. This is a lavender powder bomb. There is no laundry or fabric softener in this. Do not buy this unless you really like powder.

This is a lovely scent in that sense where it is very clean and "detergent" like. However this is a skin scent, and has zero projection unless someone is sitting close to you edit: the WORST projection and longevity... like don't waste money on thissss

I haven't tried this one yet but used to love Clean Provence - anybody who tried both and can compare? Their notes differ quite a lot, but the overall impression might still bare some resemblance.

I was expecting a much softer lavender scent but this is strong laundry detergent lavender that leans very masculine. My least favorite of the Clean Classics
