Sugar-Coated

Clean Sugar-Coated is fun, sweet, and fresh. Not synthetic and a perfect fusion of Clean Skin from the same house and BTSO Candy Dust, without the almond-nutty raspberry milkiness that can be a little medicinal in very hot weather but perfect in all other temps. I'm reminded of Clean Skin in the very opening, the soapier original and not the sweeter Reserve version, due to the fresh salt accord. Sugar-Coated does have a sea note too which resembles that, it just lacks the praline note in Skin and has another kind of sweetness. A more ambery BR540 sheer sugary sweetness with something pink even with no fruits listed. It's a better and more projecting SDJ Cheirosa 68. With a little of the cherry fruitiness from Clean Reserve Whipped Cherry that also was a love, until it became overwhelmingly strong with a deepened cherry note. Makes sense because the Reserve line in Clean is not as lightly textured as the original line. I personally like Cheirosa 68 and recurrently use the body wash, but the mist disappears in an hour on my skin and has too much of a latex accord in it. Sugar-coated is the longer performing version if that's a dna you love. On me it lasts 5 hours which is usually not the case for this line of Clean scents. Love that the size isn't too large either as natural scents tend to spoil quicker. The 1 oz is way more affordable at $48 compared to Candy Dust, which did project more but disappeared in the same amount of time, and it performs better than a body mist so it's worth it over Cheirosa 68. If you like Lake & Skye 11:11 Vanilla, Burberry Her, and PDM Oriana, you'll like this as well. Almost done with my roller ball and can't wait for my bottle.

Sugar-Coated – Sweet Air, Salt Skin, and Something Addictive Wearing this on my skin right now and I cannot stop going back for more. First impressions? An immediate 10/10. This is not heavy syrupy sugar. It’s airy. Sparkling. Almost crystalline. The sugar note feels light and effervescent — like sunlight hitting skin after being near the water. And then something happens. The marine and solar notes creep in softly and suddenly this becomes less “dessert” and more “sweet skin at the beach.” There’s coconut powder here, but not in a sunscreen way. It’s subtle, clean, and softly creamy. The oakmoss gives it this grounding freshness that keeps the sweetness from ever becoming cloying. That moss + sea water combination adds depth in a way that makes this feel more complex than the name suggests. On my skin, it wears intimate but magnetic. It’s not loud — but it lingers. It’s the kind of scent where you move and catch it again unexpectedly, and that’s what keeps pulling me back in. It feels like sweet air, salt-kissed skin, and warm light. There’s something very addictive about this balance of sugar + marine + moss. It feels modern, clean, and just a little flirtatious without trying too hard. If you’re expecting a straight gourmand, this isn’t that. This is sweet, but breezy. Feminine, but fresh. Clean, but interesting. And on skin? I keep smelling my wrist. Over and over. Okay so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this because I love Clean Reserve’s Sparkling Sugar and was hoping for similarities. It finally arrived. Of course it’s over priced... but the opening is sweet, cotton candy like. It reminds me of a nostalgic time of eating those conversation hearts growing up, the pink ones... then, as it settles, you start to get more of the clean and airy powdery notes, perhaps the coconut powder or sea notes and musk. It’s like a sweet clean smell. Not at all like sparkling sugar but really good silage. There is a bit of pistachio which I like, because pistachio can come off overdone. The dry down brings out the citrus and musk which is so cuddly and fuzzy like. It seems very layer-able but can stand alone too. It’s a grown clean gourmand that’s addictive to smell and makes you want to draw near. I currently can’t compare it to much except Prada candy layered with Prada candy kiss. Same tempo as Juliet Has A Gun Powder Love but done better. Occasions: Date night, Netflix and chill, ladies night Seasons: Late winter, spring, early summer

Very sugar and sweet, was surprisers by the notes. Was 100 % sure this was a vanilla marshamallow kind of perfume.

40% sdj 68 but 60% aquatic coconut and with an artificial sugar note, that feels like stevia. i already have 68, and this is slighty cloying
