Ultimate Beach Day

Love this! Ironically, I received this the same exact day that I received Drew Barrymore's Lethal Oleander...which some have compared to eachother. ...They don't smell alike. This one smells really pretty nonetheless. Most definitely a summer perfume! Smells like the beach and as others have mentioned...a definite sunscreen vibe. It doesn't smell like sunscreen straight out of the bottle...to me it smells more like the scent that sunscreen and your skin make together after you've been wearing sunscreen at the beach all day. That smell it makes between the sunscreen, your skin, and the heat of the sun. It smells more like that. The way I smell when I'm walking home from the beach at 4:30 in the afternoon after I've been basking in the sun all day. I really enjoy this. Wearing it to work to the office today...I'm writing this review at 9:50 in the morning and two people told me how great I smell today. Longevity - 4 hours. Projection - Somewhere between soft and moderate. About 2 feet but it's soft. It's a light trail...not a heavy one. Overall Score - 8/10

I really like this! It does remind me a lot of Bobbi Brown Beach, but I like this better. Yes, it smells like sunscreen, but I like it! It has more going on than just the sunscreen vibe. It’s very fresh and clean smelling with a tiny bit of clean warmth. I’m so glad I blind-bought this! It’s a great, easy-wearing fragrance for summer. I also enjoy layering this with Noa. Something in the notes comes together to creat a really interesting and lovely scent.

Fresh and sheer! This was a blind buy for me, and I'm so glad I did it. At first spray, it smells like coppertone, skin, and sand after you've been baking in the sun all day. After it dries down, the white floral comes though and it just smells fun and fresh and summery. This lasted about 4 hours on me.

I love this fragrance. I have ALL the beach scents and this one is my favorite by far. It captures the coppertone, sun-kissed skin, been at the beach all day scent perfectly. Better than all the rest too.

This is my childhood trips to the beach and pools during summer vacations in the 80's and 90's in a bottle. It's a very accurate interpretation of vintage Coppertone which doesn't smell the same way it used to. It's not just the sunscreen that's accurate, but it's the way it smells on your skin in the heat which is really cool. A very happy fragrance for me to wear occasionally when the mood strikes for nostalgia in the high heat. It's discontinued unfortunately, but still easy to find on the secondary market for a reasonable price. If you like sunscreen fragrances (I do) then this should be on your list. I prefer this one over Maison Margiela Beach walk as that one has way too much ylang ylang and leans too feminine for my taste. I also prefer it over Bond Fire Island which is also good, but has more of a vintage European sunscreen smell, which is not as nostalgic for me. My only complaint is it doesn't wear/feel very substantial after 30 minutes to an hour. But it's fun to wear to pool parties or around the beach. If you want something that this type of scent that has incredible weight and performance, check out Xyrena Pool Boy. If you want beach with less sunscreen, Jones Beach by Bond No 9 is great musky beach scent that smells like sea water evaporating on your skin. Arquiste Sydney Rock Pool is another one worth checking out that smells more like coconut water instead of traditional sunscreen. -------------------------------------------------------- Scent 72/100 Performance 30/100

Smells like a sheer version of Bobby Brown Beach, both of which smells like Coppertone. Longevity and sillage is lighter than BB Beach and that’s not a bad thing. Sometimes BB Beach is too much and I get tired of wearing after a few hours. Clean Ultimate Beach Day does not have that effect, it’s more like a veil. If you have the Bobby Brown already, then you don’t need this, but If you don’t -get this instead.

I blind-bought this in a set of Clean fragrances at a discount store, and this is the worst of the set, totally unwearable for me. I had hoped it would approximate Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk, but it smells of sunscreen and a synthetic aquatic note. That's all. No citrus or flowers or musk, except maybe the soapy white musk that is in so many Clean fragrances. It smells like those Demeter scents that are just novelty or nostalgia items, not really intended to be perfume. I have bought a dozen of those over the years and I appreciate them for what they are, but I was expecting something perfumey and this is not appealingly evocative of a day at the beach, it's just the bluntly realistic, unadulterated smell of sunscreen being applied next to an inadequately chlorinated pool.

Very sunscreen with a beachy feel. So glad it’s cheap and the bottle is pretty. I can detect some white florals, white musk, and plenty of sand and sea notes. I guess that’s what sunscreen is scented with. While this does make you think of the beach, I feel like this could’ve been made better. For the price, I suppose it’s worth it. As a busy guy living near the coast, I hardly get a chance to go to the beach, at least with this I can smell it throughout the day. Wish it was a little more floral.

Love this fragrance, it's a true summer beach fragrance that has good lasting power. It's green citrus opening dries down to the perfect floral. It's perfection.

I love Clean perfumes. Pretty bottle.
