Warm Cotton [Reserve Blend]

First Impressions (sample spray): I tried this one, and I don’t think I’m a fan of ozonic perfumes. I think if they removed the ozonic notes it would be a lot better imo. Edit: oh yeah, I hate this one. I tried it several times. I tried to make this one work, and gave it several chances. It’s smells very harsh, and on the nose of chemical laundry detergent. It turns almost metallic on my skin. Maybe it’s the sharp aldehydes with a combination of the ozonic notes that make it harsh to my nose. I fluctuate between liking it but then ABSOLUTELY HATING IT. It definitely has a metallic note that rubs me the wrong way. Edit 2: hmmm okay so this one is challenging to wear in all honesty. I also think this one is a slow burn kind of perfume. On one hand the green notes are challenging for me because green notes do not work for my body chemistry. I also hate the fact that it feels like you huffed a ton of detergent. The cheap kind of detergent, not the luxurious kind. But somehow I find it likeable & also comforting on the dry down. I kind of want a full bottle for the gym only. Because it’s not a signature scent for me, but a energizing yet calming perfume. I think if you have a rough day ahead this might be the one. Edit 3: Oh boy have a grown to really like this one. So I know y’all see my previous review on it, and I said I hated it. I suggest getting a travel size of this (not a sample of it). Then spray it on your bedsheets or for your gym wear. This perfume is definitely only for 1) bedsheets/for sleep perfume 2) the gym 3) spray it in your purse/bag after you wash it. That way when you open it you’ll get a whiff of fresh clean detergent. I’ve really grown to really love this fragrance & do a 180 degree review on it. It is quite comforting, as a signature scent no, but for other occasions yes. Sometimes you do need a perfume that smells like cheap detergent/laundromat for certain things. You’ll thank me later. Summary: Smells like: the machine laundry machine itself when you open the door. Abrasive cheap detergent from the laundry matt. Family of: aggressively cool clean, clean pure soap. Silage: intimate Verdict: Want a full bottle for bed sheets, sleep, & gym.

This one reminded me of Frutiger Aero! Scent: This perfume reminds me of drying freshly washed sheets in a cold winter morning. I like the freshness of the opening but the dry down of this scent would be my favorite. If this perfume reminds me of circles Feel: This was made in 2015 but it feels (at least to me)somewhat futuristic, simple, and timeless Wearability and Versatility: Perfectly unisex! I think this perfume would work well with any outfit color, but sky blue and white would be the best colors to pair with this fragrance. Season: I think that this perfume best represents spring! Longevity: It can last on skin, but is impressively long lasting on clothes! I was pretty impressed since this is a fresh scent, and fresh scents dont tend to last long. Interesting! Likability: At first I did not like this at all because of the “citrus-like” opening (citrus isn’t listed as a note). Surprisingly, it grew on me! I did not force myself to like it but I realized how FRESH this perfume is! I feel like a breeze of fresh air surrounds me when I wear this. Now I only smell ginger and green instead of citrus. I also like this one better than its classic counterpart. Note: I am someone who appreciates cold, fresh, icy scents. I like perfumes that smell timeless but a little more modern. I've been searching for a "laundry" scent for so long and I have finally found the one for me!!! This smells like warm clean laundry. The name is perfect! To me it smells exactly like the warm dryer exhaust that you smell from outside when the dryer is running. So, so, so good, so comforting, so clean and fresh and plush. This doesn't smell "sexy" so I wouldn't recommend this for a night out, but as an every day work or school scent this is so beautiful, warm and bright. I can't see anyone finding this offensive in any way. It's very basic. It'll literally just make you smell like you're wearing freshly laundered clothes and that's such a pleasant way to smell in my opinion. It would also make a gorgeous linen/pillow spray. It doesn't really smell like a "perfume". Seriously this is nice. I can't stop smelling my wrist. I'm so happy to have finally found a true laundry smell!! I've tried Byredo Blanche (doesn't smell like laundry to me, but does smell soapy), Philosophy's Pure Grace (smells like a cheap citrus cleaner or bug spray, very similar to Tom Ford Soleil Blanc), and MMM's Bubble Bath (smells very much like men's aftershave on me), and this one blows me away by how authentic it smells. I definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a light, airy, fresh, clean cotton kind of day time scent!!

the gateway drug (scent) that got me into aldehydes! I've never been a fan of brand name perfumes because to me the different notes can sometimes meld into a dissonant busy conversation. In my perfume note preference, I lean towards oceanic, fresh, and aldehydic scents. WARM FRESH COTTON is definitely straight from the laundry dryer and onto your skin! It is bright and clean, with a purity that is captured so well by the top notes. As it dries, the aldehyde scent fades and what remains is musk similar to that of once-worn clothes. It is refreshing, and is one of those scents that you have to smell TWICE. I'll admit upon first impression, a lot of my friends called this the "laundry soap" perfume. However, this still stands as one of the perfumes they go to re-smell because of its distinct fragrance profile. WARM FRESH COTTON is PERFECT for spring/summertime and is a great daytime wear for a rejuvenating pick-me-up on hot summer days! Another scent that is also great for home use by spraying onto bed, pillows, linen etc. I highly recommend!

Outstanding Fragrance ! I haven't received that many compliments in some time ,,,it leaves a trail of fresh laundry behind you and people start asking you what you are wearing left and right. If you are looking for a clean laundry smell look no further. I finally found the perfect one. I have been looking for so long for that exact smell however this is better than I could have dreamed of. The beginning is quite strong and is truly like smelling into a liquid pot of laundry soap ( exert for warm cotton is even better than any I personal tried ) and from then on it gets better and better ,,,, the scent gets very strong , stays strong and fresh for hours upon hours and at night when you think it should be gone it still surrounds you with freshness. It's gets warmer toward the end with more musk and a hint of amberette and woods , still super fresh and doesn't change a lot but gets more cuddly toward the end rather than super clean and fresh. This scent is one of the best I know in its cathegory,and moved to my top shelf !

Finally purchased this because i am obsessedddddd with the smell of super clean things. This smells like extremely freshly cleaned cotton, like laundry detergent, something thats just come out of the dryer. Its perfect scent on its own or layered, perfect for summer to smell fresh and squeaky clean. I will say, its strong, so dont overspray or it could definitely be overwhelming, a couple sprays will have you smelling super fresh. I love that it doesn't necessarily smell like a perfume either, like, when you wear this people will just think you smell good or you smell very clean, like you have a really good laundry detergent and soaps, which in my opinion is great. Layering wise, I think this fragrance layers really nicely with fruity/fresh/ sweet scents, eden juicy apple is a really pretty combo with warm cotton.

I discovered this in a Clean Reserve sample set I picked up, and had to immediately buy a full size bottle of Warm Cotton. I have a large collection of gourmands, florals and heavy, spicy patchoulis but am just starting to appreciate freshies. Personally, I think this is a lovely, simple clean laundry scent (a very traditional dryer sheet scent with a hint of floral and musk in the dry down). It is strong and has incredible lasting power on clothing (I don’t wear perfume on skin so I can’t attest to that). I find it very very comforting to smell like super clean laundry. My teenage daughter is very picky and dislikes nearly every fragrance I own but she likes this and has been borrowing it from me. I’m surprised this has such a low rating on Fragrantica. I’m happy to have this in my collection.

i got a travel size of this because i was looking for something to spray when i want to feel clean when it's really hot outside or when i'm in my comfy clothes and i want to feel soothed. i intentionally was looking for a laundry esque scent, so this was right on the money for me. i highly recommend mixing this one with a gourmand like a cotton candy or a with a powdery coconut. i'm not sure if i will repurchase specifically this fragrance when i run out, but it is exactly what i was wanting and it was the only fragrance i could find with this specific scent profile. i don't tend to like florals or aldehydes so many other similar scent profiles smell terrible to me, but this one is fresh and clean smelling. the longevity is great on this and will be a bit intense if oversprayed.

I don't really like most of the offerings from this house. Their Rain frag doesn't smell like rain, and many others miss the mark. Solar Flare is interesting but the rest are meh. Today I wore clean warm cotton, and I have to give credit to the Clean brand, they hit this one out of the park. This is PHOTOREALISTIC, freshly laundered white tshirt 👕 If you are looking for clean laundry, this is the is the ticket. It's also really strong on my skin, and can get cloying so careful with the trigger. Simple laundry done with scary accuracy. Update: bought a FB. This is top of the food chain in laundry frags. Better than Prada. Scent 9/10 Performance 7.5/10 P. S. Layered with Juliette has a gun Musc Invisible and it's a perfect 10

mmmm i love the smell of fresh laundry. in all seriousness, i really do love this fragrance, but that's also likely because i love the smell of laundry detergent and (some) dish soaps. the sharp cleanness (?) of it is super refreshing in my opinion, but it's not so sharp that it can't be worn in colder weather: a safe everyday fragrance. i will say that i barely spray this on my skin, i think it's one of those fragrances that somehow smell better on clothes. for me, it's almost comforting in a way. i like to spray it on my sweaters and pillows so i can sometimes smell it when i'm going about my day or lounging on my bed. i practically treat this fragrance as a glorified fabric refresher but i love it nonetheless <3

Almost identical to Clean Classic Warm Cotton, but slightly worse. Just like Clean Classic, this opens with a clean, soapy, citrusy punch, and while it has sparkly aldehydes, this version also has a softer, more cottony undertone. It seems to have slightly worse performance as well. This fragrance is more accurate to its name, but smells less like fresh laundry/a laundromat to me. I think most people would prefer the Reserve blend, as it's less screechy and more well-rounded, but since it's quite a bit more expensive than the classic version, and I prefer the smell of the classic version to this, I know which one I'm sticking to.

This is definitely not for everyone, but I looove this scent because it serves its purpose! It quite literally smells like clean laundry, which is the point. I have only ever purchased this scent in travel-size, but I always repurchase it because it is my go-to for travel. I like having the travel size in my purse and always take it on trips because I love that clean laundry smell, and this scent really lasts! I've noticed it lasts longer when sprayed on my clothing rather than on my skin. The "reserve" warm cotton scent smells fresh and natural, unlike the overpowering scent of the laundry detergent aisle at the grocery store.

mmm aldehydes 😋 I think if you are not a fan of literal clean smells, like things that replicate cleaning supplies, i think you will hate this. I hate gourmand smells and only want to smell like all things surrounding soap, so this is the perfect smell for me. This fragrance reminds me of a shirt that was drenched in the laundry detergent aisle at walmart. It's so close to a dryer sheet I could cry. On the dry down the pepper smell or "fresh spicy" part is very strong but I dont mind it a whole lot. It stays on my skin and clothes for around five hours, which is a little disappointing for the price point

Excellent, beautifully clean and nostalgic for me. The scent of fresh laundry soap takes me back to my childhood, helping my mom fold towels out of the dryer. At first spray, it's citrusy to me, like a lemon-y dish soap. It might not be for everyone, but I am one of the few who cannot stop whiffing soap. I wash my hands just to smell the freshness, even when they're not dirty. So if you're like me and sometimes even get the urge to eat laundry pods because they smell so damn good, this would be great for you! TL;DR: I agree with the other reviews, it does smell just like detergent. I love it.

The first 10 minutes it smells like heavy scented laundry detergent (in a good way). After that i sensed some fresh sparkly citrusy notes. I’m not usually a citrus fan so i thought this perfume might not be the one, but after 30 minutes it starts to settle into the most beautiful clean, soft, airy, laundry scent. It’s so addictive and the longevity is amazing for such light and fresh scent, so is the sillage. I got compliments all day long for how good i smell. It just makes you feel put together and clean. Very good perfume, probably the best clean scent I’ve smelled.

People are complaining this fragrance smells like laundry when it is literally supposed to be that. It's very nice and comforting and does the best on skin. I agree that it's basic and you can achieve this smell by just using dryer sheets or scent beads. However this fragrance will help amplify that smell and to me, it's lovely. The smell of it after around thirty minutes is so nice and warm. Great anytime of year and won't bother you or anybody around. However the ginger note throws me off a bit but it does go away after a while.

I wonder why this is still so underrated in an era of clean girls and minimalist scents! It smells 90% of fabric softener and 10% of faint citrussy musk (even if I don’t see any citrus fruits in the notes). It is extremely aldehylic but I wouldn’t say itms a headache inducing detergent scent. I love how comforting and soft and clean this makes me feel in a way that cheap fruity sweet body sprays can’t. Right now I can see myself wearing this everyday especially in the gym / while running.

This is one of my absolute favorite perfumes. This is a citrusy , cottony scent that just smells like a big clean hug. I love the zing and punchiness of the ginger and citrus in the beginning which tickles ur nose but it settles down to a beautiful aldehyde scent. Smells like fresh linens and laundry . For some this ideal (like me ! ) and others it is horrible. I can see why this has so many mixed reviews . It is a hate it or love scent.

yep - that's lemony laundry deliciousness! smells like being on a walk outside in your neighborhood and you neighbor has fresh laundry in the machine and the smell coming from the vent fills up the street. this is soooo pretty for spring. SUPER ozonic - gives frutiger aero optimism to me. this smells like everything is gonna be okay! i'd like to see how this would pair with other citrusy- less soapy fragrances.

I like wearing this when working out, going to sleep, and I even spray this on my sheets right after taking them out of the dryer. It smells literally like dried, warm, clean cotton clothes you have just taken out of the dryer and for being so realistic I really enjoy this one. If you are looking for a scent that smells just like you did your laundry, this one and Blanche by Byredo are the perfect ones.

Love, love, love this fragrance. Just the perfect clean, fresh scent. Smells just like freshly laundered clothes, that have been hung on the line on a summer's day. There's a real airiness to it but it's cool or aquatic. It a perfume that can be worn all year round. It's not the longest lasting scent, so you do end up spraying a lot. But I don't think it has the capacity too overpowering or offensive.

Love it or hate it type of perfume. For me it's love. Smells just like those heavy duty bars of soap, that you can find in small basement shops, which are run by grandmas. Or really strong run of the mill laundry detergent. A super clean scent, and even though it stings my nose every time I smell it, I love it. When it fades, there's a faint citrus note. Could be a great perfume to spray on linens.

Super clean, photorealistic laundry smell. But not regular laundry, but like the laundry angels do in heaven. Extremely classy and high quality. It’s a bit “warm” as it claims to be, so any season except summer. Don’t expect to smell seductive or attractive, it’s more for smelling pleasant and clean. Great for wearing in Japan where you want to smell nice and clean but not stand out or obnoxious.

I am ecstatic. I bought a travel spray of the warm cotton reserve and it's a dream. The clean freak that I am nearly died upon smelling this masterpiece. Some of us just want to smell clean almost sterile. I am that person. Keep your cotton candy, vanilla, and caramel swirl fragrances away. Yup, smells exactly like warm, clean laundry straight out of the dryer. Soapy, solar, fresh, and nostalgic. I stopped using dryer sheets a long time ago. This fragrance brings back memories of my childhood, standing next to my mom pulling laundry from our 1970s Kenmore dryer, looking for my baby blanket so I could sniff all the amazing smell right out of it.

This is Febreeze the fragrance. In fact it's so close that at first it's almost off putting because you're supposed to be wearing a fragrance right? But no, this scent is amazing. It mellows down to something completely addicting, cozy, and warm. I would recommend this for literally anyone, it's so easy to wear, it's a perfect everyday smell.

This is a really pleasant laundry scent! Love it! I was first attracted to such aldehydes scent from JPG Eau Fraiche series (superman airline Popeye). Those are really strong laundry detergent scent and drydown to amber. Clean Reserved Warm Cotton has got this floral background that I think make this really pleasant, clean and comforting.

After having used it a few times, I found it is a really good scent. I like the "clean" smell it gives to my (white) cotton shirt. This made me want to have some others too from the same company which are by descriptions quite similar. Lasted many hours on my shirt and also on hand.

My personal favorite Clean scent. I actually like the Classic version a bit more, since I feel like this blend is a tad more harsh and in your face with the laundry detergent/dryer sheet vibes. It's a good scent to throw on while running errands or if you just want to feel fresh.

I cannot tell you enough how much I love this scent. It smells like warm clean fresh laundry clothes no joke! It smells like laundry detergent, and I love especially at night on my way to sleep. It's truly a cozy scent that I will continue to buy until they stop selling it.

yes it smells like tide and yes i love it. honestly i see why people are like "whats the point?" when they smell this but personally i love it as a bedtime fragrance. it reminds me of home and i live very far from it now so the perfume is very comforting to me

I don’t get all the bad rep, the fragrance is called ‘Warm Cotton’ what did you expect. To me it smells of fresh warm cotton straight out of the dryer...love it, well priced freshie. Great after shower bed scent, snuggly comforting..........

I Love using this on bedsheets, as room spray, on clean laundry and so on. Clean and beautiful, photorealistic warm cotton. The same as the warm cotton from clean in the other bottle. This is my 2. Bottle, and I will always repurchase this

Expensive gain laundry detergent, which I just so happen to love. Dryer sheets, fabric softener, and laundry detergent galore. A breathe of fresh air & definitely an easy grab, also a safe blind buy if you love fresh scents.

This is my safest fragrance option to go to. Super huggable, fresh, light and clean, in a sense of freshly laundered t-shirts. Perhaps not sexy, but definitely soft and cozy. I feel comfort while wearing it. People pleaser.

One of the rare few perfumes that I purchased a second bottle of. It smells like detergent, yes, but with a soft and comforting twist. Shines brightly in every season and is fabulous on both skin and fabric. Love it.

This is your favorite Fresh Linen candle as a scent! Dryer sheets all the way. I find it so cozy and pleasant-smelling. Just the same I way I do when I light a candle like this. Unique in my collection.

I have no idea how they were able to capture the smell of WARMTH, but they did. Its as if you took laundry straight from the dryer and dove into the fresh warm pile and deeply inhaled.

My everyday scent. Love it. The freshest, cleanest scent. I don’t overspray because it lasts and it is a bit sharp but I still like it. Smelling laundry is one of my favorite smells.

“Smells of laundry detergent and cotton.” Well duh, that’s why it’s called Warm Cotton.:) For those not familiar with CLEAN, their products aren’t like traditional perfumes. Their scents are clean (ha) and fresh smelling like freshly laundered clothes, or freshly cleaned skin coming straight from the shower or bath for examples. They’re meant to prolong those fresh scents after leaving the house and also to be able to refreshen during the day. Some people don’t necessarily like the smell of perfume, but like the smell of products they use to bath with or wash and dry their clothes. Others work in professions where strong perfumes are banned. This company caters to that with their products. This scent does indeed smell like warm cotton fresh from the dryer complete with laundry detergent and fabric softener and settles into a warm musk on the skin. Very relaxing and comforting and in no way offensive. For me, this scent is very concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Can be worn day or night in any season. Longevity is excellent. Great to layer with other scents. What I learned recently is the Reserve line of CLEAN products works with farmers in underdeveloped countries so they can be sustainable. The packaging is recycled and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these Reserve products goes back into the program that educate and helps these farmers. So you can buy with a good conscience because you’re helping someone by giving them a livelihood for them to feel good about.

This is the cleanest, soapiest, most authentically aldehydic scent I have ever experienced in a perfume. Which isn’t a bad thing—there are far worse things in life than smelling soapy and clean. Warm Cotton is one of those fragrances that takes its concept quite literally, emulating the scent of cotton clothing, linens and towels, fresh from the laundry. It just borders on smelling like straight up detergent, but elevated. I’d compare it to a lighter, sweeter, greener version of Tide. It’s pleasant and inoffensive on the card, my skin and my clothes. I will say that Warm Cotton’s literal take on cotton laundry works against it as well as it works for it. The detergent scent might be too sharp, too on-the-nose and too sterile for some—especially on skin. It also lacks the flowery or fruity nuances of other aldehydic fragrances currently on the market. It’s a decent dupe for the sweeter and fresher—but more expensive—Blanche by Byredo. However, as an aldehyde fan, I would recommend Warm Cotton. It never hurts to smell clean, fresh and aquatic, especially in an office space, school, work or public setting. Or better yet, just to smell clean for the sake of it.

I agree with one of the more common opinions circulating about this fragrance: this smell can be harsh and resemble an overabundance of laundry detergent rather than clean linen or drier sheets. It feels that it puts a lot of weight into trying to resemble freshness rather than being fresh itself. However, I've found that spraying this at a distance and walking into the mist allows for a more balanced and lighter smell than it would be if sprayed typically and elevates its smell significantly. I would like to note that I have sensitive skin and have not found that this fragrance has irritated or bothered my skin. I've found that this Warm Cotton lasts a very long time. I caught it lingering on clothing over a week after I sprayed it. I would not say that I would buy this again, but I don't necessarily regret purchasing Warm Cotton. It is a pleasant part of my routine and makes me feel exceptionally fresh and perky before heading off to work, although this same feeling can surely be achieved with other, less harsh fragrances.
