White Amber & Warm Cotton

I have tried most all of the Clean Reserve and Clean Avant Garden line and this is in my top three. I love the juxtaposition of clean cotton smell and warming amber. It's both fresh and soapy while not being too cool because of the amber. On me I smell the amber significantly, unlike other reviewers, but I love amber so that's a good thing. While all Clean Reserve fragrances are listed as unisex, I think, I could definitely see someone more masculine wearing this. As a woman, I get tired of wearing florals sometimes, and during those times this fits the bill perfectly. I think this is a safer blind buy than many of the other Clean Reserve fragrances, especially of you like their other cotton-esque scents and also enjoy amber.

This for sure has a clean laundry smell. There is a part of me that wishes they amped up the base notes slightly more to take some of the sharpness out of it. You definitely get the warm cotton but I long for a little more amber, musk, and white woods. This only requires a very small tweak and it could be really extraordinary. It's still lovely though.

My go to pick-me-up fragrance! Sillage is moderate to heavy, with 6+ lasting power. I love linen scents and this one is my favorite perfume at home. It's cozy, very reminiscent of my childhood. It's warm and calming. I get compliments when wearing this mostly from women. They like to hug me as they say I smell very comforting.

I have a mini of Clean Reserve White Amber / Warm Cotton from the Avantgarden collection. It smells like freshly washed laundry, powdery and aldehydic, very fresh at the same time. Although it's not my favourite scent profile, there is a place in my fragrance wardrobe for this type of fragrance when you just want to feel extra fresh.

White Amber & Warm Cotton is much heavier on the warm cotton than it is on the amber. It's a strong clean laundry/linen fragrance, with clean musk and aldehydes being the most prominent notes. I don't get any green notes, cassis, or much amber on my skin. If you enjoy clean laundry fragrances, you will love this one. The sillage is moderate to heavy on my skin and it lasts a long time.
