Well well well.. Wouldn't you know... I finally found my true signature fragrance! A vanilla marshmallow cocoa yum yum with solar notes that make you feel uplifted!Thank you💜 Clinique. This is ABSOLUTELY whimsical and magical angelic and lofty.. just simply wonderful! My new signature scent. A SOFT WARM LIGHT GOURMAND AT ITS FINEST. I just bought a feminine🌸 pink, soft ,fluffy spring jacket and spritzed this amazing fragrance with it last night and when I put the jacket on this morning I could still smell this heavenly scent on it. I stopped in my tracks and cuddled it. haha ...It is very light and inoffensive close to the skin scent never overbearing. It smells almost like my favourite discontinued perfume called Private Room by Jeanne Arthes. I love the purple bottle. They do not make a big bottle at this time and that's ok with me I actually like the smaller bottle it fits discreetly in my purse. This is more like a body spray than a perfume so I apply this throughout the day. It is the most comforting scents on the market. It is also very unique and does not smell like all of the perfume's on the market. It is not over sweet or cloying its just right. This makes a great scent any time of the year night or day! It is a magical potion.I just ordered 2 more bottles off of the Clinique website first orders are 15 percent off. I will continue to stock up on this divine scent in case it gets discontinued like everything else that's top notch. 🍫Cocoa and vanilla with cashmere what could be better? Magic potion in a bottle.Ps this does not smell like Mad Potion by Katy Perry and it does last if you spray it in your hair. I can smell it the next day. The name says it all! If you enjoy cocoa and cashmere this is where it's at. Aside from being a light hearted happy fragrance this one has some mystery. At first there is a blast of pure cocoa then as it dries down the cashmere and musk peek out and say "hi." This fragrance is subtle ( and even sophisticated ) compared to its sibling Cookies and Kisses. The dry down is just so good. It's quite sultry to be honest....unless you layer it with BBW Vanilla Bean Noel body Lotion and BBW Hot Cocoa and Cream fragrance mist. If you do that you are on the level of " I want to smell like a cup of hot chocolate all day". And it's seriously so good! So whether you wear it layered or on its own it's a really nice fragrance. Alone it's more like a soft,sensual perfume and layered it's more like a gourmand. Enjoy! (Longevity is moderate...about 4 hours. Also would be nice if it came in larger sizes.)

I’m not gonna lie... I gatekeep this fragrance. I truly hope Clinique never stops making this fragrance because it is truly sooo underrated. If this fragrance was just a bit stronger and had a bit better performance and silage, this would be my Perfect Perfume. Instead it’s more of a close skin scent with 1-2 hour lasting ability. That said... my goodness is it delicious. It’s sweet.. feminine.. a touch gourmand with its sugary and chocolate essence. White flowers softly linger in the background. It does give me Princess by Kilian vibes which is also one of my favorite fragrances of all time, though Cocoa and Cashmere is more cozy and intimate smelling. I couldn’t imagine one person not loving this scent. Safe blind buy absolutely yes! This is the first full bottle I’ve ever finished in such record time, it’s that good.

These Clinique My Happy little 15 ml perfumes are truly some underrated gems. I have tested on a whim today three different ones from the range and I left the store with all three of them. Lily of the Beach, Cocoa&Cashmere and Cookies&Kisses. All three very different smelling but addictive and soft. Cocoa&Cashmere is a very soft, gentle cocoa pod mixed with sweet vanilla, honeysuckle, jasmine, amber, solar notes and musk. It’s smells amazing and very gourmand but like the others in this line, it’s very subtle. This is the type of scent you are wearing for your own pleasure, nobody else will notice it on you! That’s why this scent is a great summertime floral gourmand because it’s so subtle that hot temperatures are the most likely to boost its strength. In the cold months, it will get lost in seconds on skin.

Definitely smells like you've spilt hot chocolate on a wool sweater. It reminds me of a jumper my granny knitted for me when I was six that always smelt like wool and melted chocolate. Brings back nice memories. It's very mild. Originally you get the slight white floral note which instantly fades. Not too sweet and on me I get the cocoa and musk. That's about it. It's a nice fragrance but very faint. Doesn't perform well but nice to have and will use especially over winter or to layer. Edit: Fallen in love with this on my clothes and lasts longer. Disappears on skin but probably one of the most enjoyable scents I've had on fabric since Montale - Choco Greedy. Can't stop smelling myself! Warm and comforting. Does anyone know of a flanker with better silage and longevit?

I just started collecting/enjoying perfume again last year after a nearly 20 year hiatus, and this one easily earned a spot in my top 3 as soon as I smelled it. It's like a delicious, elevated cocoa butter body lotion - clean, fresh, sweet, a tad floral and simply timeless; everything I've been searching for in a fragrance. (I detect no pink pepper, and that's fine as it's a note I don't care for 99% of the time.) My only complaint is that echoed by many others - I wish it was stronger and longer lasting. If anyone reading this can recommend similar fragrances with better longevity, please message me. :) Update: This pairs beautifully with Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Amour De Cacao!

Normally, I am a conscientious consumer who carefully weighs her purchases. I reflect on them, compare prices at various stores/websites, wait for deals, and discount codes... In the case of this perfume, I made up my mind surprisingly quickly! I was taking a stroll with my boyfriend at a famous Italian outlet when I first caught a whiff of this delight. It struck me so much with its soft sweetness that in just over an hour, I returned to the store to buy it. I was concerned about its longevity, already aware that it was a skin scent. In reality, hours after spraying it, I still perceive it around me like a dear and comforting presence that encourages me throughout the day.

I'm sooo in love with this fragrance. I will never understand why Clinique didn't go all out with a full bottle and promotion for this frag. Still holding onto some hopes that they will lol. It's a beautiful soft cocoa/powdery vanilla scent. And not powdery like baby powder, but just in the sense that it's super sweet, but not tarte, it's airy & dainty. Super beautiful and soft. I just wish they made a bigger bottle because it does not last anything more than like 3 hours. But seriously one of my favorites in my collection. EDIT: YOU GUYS!!! It's HAPPENING!! Clinique website and Macy's has a 3.4 oz on their websites and at Macy's store!!! I purchased mine so fast lol!

This is a lovely musky gourmand-light with a floral heart, anchored by vanilla, amber, and clean patchouli. It’s a gourmand which is suitable for those who can’t tolerate sweet gourmands, because it stays quite light and floral. Its as if Black Opium and Happy had a baby. It’s not different or daring by any means, but it is a nice fragrance to transition into Spring with. I finally smell cocoa from that typical vanilla-patchouli accord which I’ve never been able to smell in other perfumes that use this combination. It makes me smile. The only problem is that the longevity is only a few hours. Luckily the size of the bottle is a convenient size that travels well.

I have a big collection of perfumes and this is easily in my top three 💜 I get the powdery cacao, musk, cashmere and vanilla in such a simple but beautiful blend. It's cozy, fluffy, delicious and comforting, like being hugged by someone that you love and they are wearing a soft warm sweater. This perfume makes me feel nostalgic in a nice way. Also I suffer from migraines and this is so inoffensive that I know it's never gonna trigger a migraine, it's the one I recommend to people that don't want loud perfumes. It lasts a decent time on my skin (about 5 hours) and lasts for days on my clothes. I'm so obsessed I have the 100ml bottle and a back up at all times.

Wish this lasted longer but of all the My Happy flanker’s I’ve tried I loved this one most of all. Probably the farthest from the original (which is my mother’s signature scent and very nostalgic for me in such a lovely way but not something I’m looking to wear and I was pleasantly surprised I could wear this one and make it my own. Usually not a huge fan of jasmine either and I’m not picking up much of that here either so I was very pleasantly surprised. I definitely do get the cocoa up front and throughout really, but this certainly is one to be re-applied. Have been enjoying layering on top of more earthy or wintery scents to liven them up for spring too.

This is an easy cuddle of an uplifting feel good cosy winter scent! A proper gentle chocolate blanket that is infinitely sniffable but very well behaved. It is quiet, but very grown up and rounded. It is not screechy so you can over spray at will (and it is cheap enough for that not to be prohibitive). This is definitely one you wear for you yourself, just to make you smile because you know you smell great. It will never be a mass audience pleaser because they'd need to be very 'up close and personal' to actually recognise more than just a general 'ooh she smells nice'. I regularly wear it as a bedtime smile scent. I absolutely love it!

I’ve only had this for 3 days and already I can say it’s up there in my top 5! Very simple not over the top chocolatey creamy vanilla scent with cashmere. It’s so underrated it’s become my new bedtime scent I wear after I shower. I dowse myself down and love how it smells. I do have to say it doesn’t last very long but regardless still a very good blind buy imo. I love it so much I bought 2 extra 100ml sizes for back ups because I know I’m gonna run through this scent like crazy haha. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good simple gourmand cocoa vanilla scent even good for layering love love love 💜

Cocoa & Cashmere by Clinique has my heart. The moment I picked it up on Banff Avenue, it instantly became my scent for the entire Canadian escape. It’s cozy, romantic, and feels like being wrapped in a soft, cashmere blanket ... perfect for chilly mountain air and slow scenic strolls. I wore it non-stop while in tourist mode, and now every photo from Jasper, Banff, and Edmonton has this beautiful scent-memory attached to it. That warm cocoa sweetness, mixed with the soft creamy undertone, became my travel signature. One whiff and I’m right back there, surrounded by nature’s magic. – Bhavna Darira Chesan

This is probably the best gourmand on the market! It is warm and long lasting-an olfactory equivalent of a deep brown cashmere cardigan. As another reviewer noted, the patchouli is very clean, not too overbearing so it blends perfectly with the amber, cocoa and vanilla. I don't get any of the floral notes, however. But that is perfectly fine as the lack of floral notes makes this the quintessential fall/winter fragrance. A kind heads up, however, this is probably the only fragrance in the My Happy line that really doesn't blend well with the others.

Love at first sniff! My husband said I smell like I've come from the spa and then was sitting in the lobby of a fancy hotel for a while. This scent leans more unisex in 2023 in my opinion. It's light for sure, clean, and just universally appealing. Jasmine & honeysuckle are listed, but I get mostly clean vanilla-amber with white chocolate/cocoa butter notes. It doesn't smell like food. This works in a healthcare setting and is an overall pleasant scent.

My all time favourite fragrance... it’s warm, soft, and creamy. So decadent I want to eat it! I have owned many gourmand fragrances and nothing compares to the way this makes me feel! However... it absolutely does not last!!! This is so disappointing since this scent only comes in one small size, and it performs more like a body spray than a perfume.. please Clinique, make this fragrance have better silage and longevity!!!

A good scent for the holidays since it stays close to the skin and won't bother scent-sensitive people or interfere with food smells. Sweet, white chocolate and vanilla with something evocative of clean cashmere/linen/cotton that makes it a bit fresher. I wish it lasted longer and projected more--as others have said, it's more like a body spray than a perfume. The little bottle is adorable.

My favourite scent after smelling countless others. Which is funny because it’s sold in Nz’s version of a department store, Farmers. Bit pricey at $177nzd for the 100ml but I do love that it is simply cosy and inoffensive. Biggest gripe is its terrible lasting/projection power. I am praying that Lattafa/Khadlaj/Bujairami dupe this someday as a nuclear EDP then I can die happy.

This smells absolutely amazing and sweet but not too “omg it makes my head hurt and want to throw up.” I have found that I dislike heavy, musky scents. It literally gives me a sinus headache which will turn into a migraine. Popular example, white shoulders, anything Chanel. Yet this scent is like whoa! Super amazing, light! Sweet but not overwhelming.

Cocoa and Cashmere is one of my all time favorites. Its a very easy reach, appropriate for the work place, church, almost anywhere because it's not loud. You just smell amazing but it doesn't knock people out. I think the bottle is too small for it's price but other than that I would totally recommend this to anyone that like warm, sweet perfumes!!!

This must be the easier blind buy of all time. Cozy, warm, comfortable scent. More like a splash, sexy skin scent. Warm, gourmand, not too sweet (but sweet enough), I apply generously without being cloying. Soo comforting. I wish it last longer. But I’m glad to have this easy to reach fragrance when I just want to feel good without pressure.

This perfectly encapsulates the feeling of sipping a hot cocoa in a cedar log cabin. It's so warm, inviting and intimate. The subtle blend of gourmand and spicy woods make this a fragrance that's wearable by many, though of course skin interactions do make a difference. On my skin it dries down to a sweeter accord that I just adore.

MY DREAM CAME TRUE. This ADDICTIVE perfume used to only come in a tiny bottle HOWEVER it can now be bought in a huge 100ml bottle on the Clinique website for almost 70.00. I was told buy a guy at the mall never to get my hopes up for a big bottle but he was wrong! YAAAAAY I will go to the website and buy this on payday!

This is a fragrance just for me! It's one that I put on for myself to enjoy. It's comforting, relaxing and smells so good on me that I keep coming back to it time and time again. I just wish they'd make one in a bigger bottle and that lasts longer. I've bought multiples of this to stock up on!

This is for sure a lazy day fragrance to spray on your PJs or a fuzzy blanket <3, it is very warm, and clean. It is very nostalgic for me as my mother would dowse me in (now discontinued) chocolate powder after my bath, this smells identical. Safe to say I am in love!

I absolutely love this scent and it's definitely in my top 5 fragrance list (personally) but the PERFORMANCE is just AWFUL unless you spray a crap ton.This scent is so pretty and comforting.I REALLY HOPE that they consider making a bigger bottle in the future!!!!!!!!

I love this one! It’s true it doesn’t last but I don’t care because while it’s there it is wonderful! The chocolatey top notes only last a short time but what I really enjoy is the honeysuckle note. Very cozy, comforting and relaxing.

I wasn't expecting this one to need to macerate. It went from super heavy musk and a bit of dark chocolate to a less pronounced, more soft musk and chocolate. It wears close but lasts for hours ! I love it!

This fragrance radiates warmth for me. It is currently unnecessarily cold in London and this layered with several jumpers and woollen blankets at night provides an additional layer of cosiness.

Cozy & creamy chocolate with a soft vanilla musk. SO GOOD! Definitely going to be wearing this a ton this winter! Longevity is kinda weak but other than that I’m obsessed with this fragrance

Opens musky then the chocolate comes in and POOF it's gone. If I could find a perfume like this , but longer lasting and a bit punchier , I would be so happy. I'm smitten.

This is dark chocolate and musk. It's very pretty and close to the skin. I don't think it was intended to be strong or loud. It's very intimate and relaxed.

Dense warm vanilla bomb. Great alone or layered

Reviewing for 3 chocolate fragrances below. Hugo Boss Private Accord First spray smells like semi sweet dark chocolate and oranges like other reviewers have mentioned. I wasn't a fan of osmanthus in Narcisco Rodriguez for her, but it works beautifully with the notes here for me. As it starts to dry down, it turns more into a milk chocolate. It smells sweet, feminine, and slightly fresh. I would wear this fragrance on a date or night out for sure because it's not as "warm and cozy" as the other chocolate fragrances I'm reviewing below. For a chocolate fragrance, I love this. I am 32 years old and prefer feminine fragrances. This scent is a happy medium for me. It's not "too mature" and it's not "too juvenile". The orange and osmanthus gives this chocolate scent a lil more depth, but it's not bizzare or intriguing. It's more on the safe side. Lasting power isn't that great tbh. However, I'll still be buying this. Clinique Cocoa & Cashmere First spray smells exactly like rubbing alcohol and then a warm, cottony, musky, milk chocolate comes through. It stays pretty linear throughout the whole wear. Lasting power is not as great either like HB Private Accord. I could probably wear this on a date night too. However, it gives me more of a netflix and chill vibe or snuggling up to a blanket by myself watching chick flix and eating ice cream. :P Not bad, I like it and am considering buying it. I want all of my linens to smell like this, haha. Edit: I prefer this dry down over the HB Private Accord, it's coming off more "optimistic" and younger. Def buying this. Al Rehab - Choco Musk Not a fan. This is extremely too sweet for my taste. For me, it smells like milk chocolate and incense. I don't mind incense, myrrh, or resinous notes as I love them in other fragrances I own. But the contrast of these notes in Choco Musk just doesn't work for me here as it's linear - like my nose picks up strong incense throughout the whole wear. This lasting power is a beast. It has lasted on my cardigan for 4 days straight.

I do like the scent of this perfume but it isn't a love for me. You do get a lot in the 15ml bottle for £30 (the price I paid for it) but I don't think it's going to be a repeat purchase. The reason being, some note in this is too sickly sweet for me and therefore headache inducing. Don't get me wrong it's definitely pleasant smelling and I doubt anyone around you would be offended by it - it most likely would receive compliments. But this is for those who really enjoy achingly sweet perfumes, and that is not me. Cocoa and Cashmere is something I would have imagined the Body Shop to make, it really smells no more expensive than anything you would buy from there. In fact, it does remind me of (and smells very similar to) their Shea perfume, which I own. The only difference being that the Shea is far stronger and smells masculine, whereas this is light and leans feminine. What I am picking up is definitely cocoa, vanilla, amber and musk, but no florals. It's very light and stays close to the skin, but if over sprayed then I think it would project. It wraps you up in a pleasant, sweet, cocoon. So in all in all, yes it is nice and I see how others may love it. But it is just a little too sweet and synthetic smelling for me personally, preferring to spray it on my clothes and not my skin. I think it could be worn all year round and become a signature scent for some. I have their Cookies and Kisses on the way, as the notes along with the mixed reviews have intrigued me lol. hopefully that will be more up my street. When I have received it, I will write a review.

I first fell for this scent after smelling it as a sample in an Ulta catalogue, which was enough to convince me to order a travel size. At first, I was a bit disappointed. I didn’t hate it, but it immediately transported me back to the era when the Olsen twins had their own drugstore perfume line "Coast to Coast NYC" — familiar, nostalgic, sweet, and a little cringe... except somehow the cringe has been removed and replaced with something oddly sophisticated. Longevity is also an issue; on me, it barely lasts an hour. I wore it for a few days, then just reverted back to other scents. That, everything changed the other night. On a whim, I sprayed it on while we had a fire going in the fireplace. As my husband and I were watching a movie, I caught a whiff of the fragrance mingling with the smell of burning firewood — and omg. Suddenly, it all clicked, and I realized I needed more of whatever THAT scent was in my life. I immediately remembered that Maison Margiela REPLICA has a scent called "Fireplace" and so I wasted no time purchasing a travel sized version of it as well. I just layered the two on myself and, while the jury’s still out, I’m not disappointed. Like other reviewers mentioned, I wish My Happy were stronger and would last longer. That said, I'll be on the lookout for similar scents with more longevity.

Comfy and creamy chocolate milky musk scent that never smells cloying, overly sweet or overly gourmand. I also adore the very tall and slender oval bottle -- looks super '90s with a nice and finely misting sprayer. However, the presence is insanely low, close to nonexistent. It's not a cheapie if you have to spray it about 10 times to get a skin scent out of it, and at $25 for a 15mL bottle... That translates to $167 for 100mL of juice. Breaks my heart as I've been a fan of this one since it first came out and finally decided to pull the trigger, but when I opened the box I realized two full sprays were barely perceptible unless my wrist was directly touching my nose -- and I like fragrances with a more intimate presence. But I think this is too intimate and watered down for me. Keep that in mind before ordering, very lovely creamy vanilla cocoa scent though!

This is good, however, to me this is more vanilla than cocoa. I think soft spicy fits, but I wouldn't really call this spicy. It's kind of tame, I'd probably say it's what most people would gravitate to for something comforting and it serves this purpose very well. It's kind of similar to Prada Candy night but not as deep, maybe a daytime counterpart. I have a mini bottle of this that came with 5 other travel sprays from the Happy collection that I got last year on sale at ULTA. The other scents are Peace & Jasmine (now discontinued), Lily of the Beach, Happy Splash, Peony Picnic, and Blue Sky Nerolie. This is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite of the lot, my favorite being Peace & Jasmine and this is either 2nd or 3rd to Lily of the Beach. This is definitely a strong like. And I'm sure I'd love this if it's been a couple seasons since I've worn it.

Very soft and comforting, but it sits close to the skin and fades quickly. It's quite pleasant, though! There's 'warm' and 'cool' sweet scents, and this is as close to a neutral one as I've ever tried. It's not a spiced, boozy gourmand vanilla, but it's not a cool and artificial powdery one, either. It's just light and pleasant and in-the-middle, with a bit of depth but not *enough* depth or complexity to be polarizing. It would be good for layering, I'd imagine, but I usually just use it on its own. It's a lovely 'relaxing at home, wearing it just for yourself' scent, imo, or a good scent if you live/work with people who are sensitive to stronger fragrances. It's quite nice and inoffensive.

I was a bit worried because of the chocolate, but this is a gourmand with a light touch, and it is rather soft too...I like the smell, it is delicately constructed, I detect the warm musk in the background, I really enjoy it , it is suitable all seasons ...I agree with the other reviewers that this would be perfect for lovers of light gourmands, if you find Black Opium or La vie est belle are too bold for you, this comes in as a lovely sweet musky perfume.lplus I got the 15 ml cheap on Amazon....easy to carry in your purse..or easy to wear when you travel....I want to try the otter versions !

Unfortunately I’m anosmic to this scent, all I can smell is alcohol. I know this can sometimes happen when the perfume is shaken up during shipping but I’ve let it settle for over a year and still have the same problem. I do every now and then get whiffs of what I think it’s actually supposed to smell like. It’s a pleasant but very light musky cocoa. Reminds me a bit of warm vanilla sugar. I’m hoping to sell my bottle for $20 CAD, so if you’re in Ontario, Canada and you’re interested, feel free to send me a message! :)

I really enjoy this, and I’m not typically into gourmands. However, I find this really pretty and cozy and great for the winter holiday season. I really like the creamy feeling. The only thing I don’t really like is that it is very close to being too powdery for me. I can handle it, it’s not over the top, but it’s just not an accord I care for at all. If you like a bit of a powdery scent, you would probably really like this, and as I said, it’s subtle. I’m just sensitive to it. I really like it otherwise!

A warm and very beautiful blend of cocoa and vanilla that feels like a cozy blanket or a warm hug. Extremely cozy, comforting, and soothing. But its longevity is even worse than a body mist it disappears before it even reaches the skin after spraying. کاکائو و وانیل مثل یه پتوی گرم و ارامش بخشن توی این عطر واقعا بوی گرم و خیلی کوزی و زیبایی داره ولی ماندگاریش فاجعست در حد یه بادی میستم نیست

Cute and cozy, more of a “white chocolate” cocoa because it stays light and sweet and doesn’t remind me of a a traditional “gourmand” chocolate. Probably good for sensitive folks who don’t want to taste their perfume lol. My husband thought it smelled great too. The longevity is abysmal however and I get better performance from my snowflakes and cashmere body spray from b&bw.

I smelled it when I went to Ulta but I can't tell if I like it or not. It's powdery but has a cocoa smell. Like someone's grandma making hot chocolate using the Swiss mix. I might have to do a 24-hour wear the next time I go into an Ulta and see how I feel throughout the day. Edit: I love how cozy this is and it puts me in a holiday mood without being too much. Just so cozy.

A soft gourmand scent. She is hot chocolate wrapped in a soft, cream cashmere blanket (not referencing the note cashmere). Very inoffensive and can be worn at anytime, anywhere. I actually might purchase this perfume again once we reach autumn. In my opinion, I would wear this once it starts getting cooler but I think you can get away with wearing this during spring, too.

This is a lovely little fragrance. To me it smells very lightly of cocoa and ambery/musky vanilla, the type of vanilla you can smell in La Vie Est Belle Vanille Nude or Bare Sueded Vanilla. It is only a little sweet, it is musky, fluffy and comforting, like a super soft cashmere jumper on your skin. The only problem with it, is the longevity, which is poor 🍫🫧💜✨️

I am currently wearing this perfume and I smell so Delicious! Gourmand in my opinion but will not make your head hurt. Very warm and sweet. I dont think sillage is powerful, I smell me but when I passed by my sister she barely noticed the perfume and I like that for an everyday going to the supermarket, picking up my kid from school perfume.

A sweet and comforting amber cocoa vanilla scent. I told myself I didn't need this, since the dry down smells exactly the same as my Bath and Body Works Whipped Coconut Milkshake mist - a very ambery vanilla - and lasts about as long. But I caved because of the delicious, comforting top notes. I don't regret it, much.
