Crab Apple Blossom

I sampled it twice before buying a FB. Absolutely love it! I will wear it somewhat during the winter because I won’t be able to hold off lol but mainly bought it for spring and summer. I find it to be more of a daytime scent. The sandalwood and driftwood are the least detected scents in this fragrance however it is there and softly shows up in the dry down to help ground the other scents. Main scent is the apple blossom, rhubarb and mojito that I smell initially which morphs into this sweet-salty-somewhat sour scent that is so yummy and ambrosial. It opens up citrusy with bergamot, then right after moves into a sweeter (apple blossom) smell which holds strong and then timidly the sandalwood and driftwood say peek-a-boo to tie it all together with a little saltiness that will remain throughout. Very feminine leaning due to the sweetness and fruity prominent apple note. Quality fragrance-it LASTS. Woke up the next morning from first time I sampled having applied at noon the day prior and it was still there. Oh and the bottle is gorgeous ❤️. Update: I put CC Crab Apple on one arm and Creed VIW on the other and nope-very different. ONLY similarity I get is the aquatic note from each. Crab Apple is a salty and sweet fruity apple base with an aquatic opening while VIW is a dryer citric and coconut being more of a fresh aquatic with slight sweetness. You can definitely own both. VIW is so clean and fresh and Crab Apple makes my mouth water and I just want to lick the salt off my skin and bite into the sweetness of an apple. Crab apple makes me think of tanned, moisturized skin in the sun. It has an edible and undeniable sexiness. It’s yummy 😋.

Wow! What a beautiful summer fragrance! It has the same island-y aquatic vibe as Creed Virgin Island Water, which is one of my all time favorites, but they're not similar. VIW leans more into the lime and coconut and smells like a zesty margarita. Crab Apple Blossom leans into a minty rhubarb angle with an initial sandalwood note that gives it an edge. The fragrance becomes more floral during the dry down. This is a very unisex fragrance that starts out more masculine in the beginning and leans feminine during the dry down. Still, I'd love to smell this on a man. I don't get a cheap air freshener impression whatsoever. It smells quality to my nose. The performance is excellent and this fragrance lingers on my skin for around 8 hours. Is it worth $450? Eh, it's hard to quantify a fragrance's worth, but I would buy a bottle one day if I could get a good sale price. That said, it's not the most groundbreaking fragrance I've ever smelt. I'm sure you could get similar scent profiles elsewhere for much less. Clive Christian is a heritage brand and they've revived themselves based on "the most expensive perfume in the world" marketing. So, while they could stand to be less expensive, they're not seeking to mass appeal. If you love it and you can't stop thinking about it, get it. If you can take it or leave it, I'd probably leave it.

Really nice, beautiful and fresh, easy reach and doesn't bother anyone but performance is subtle yet sophisticated and even classy. Opening is quite sharp fresh Bergamot with salty touch and it turns into Rhubarb and Mojito notes which both are incredible realistic, not too sour yet not sweet at all. The blend brings immediately the beautiful breeze of summer, sipping the cocktail at the beach restaurant. I wish the middle notes would have last longer. The woody base unfolds too soon and and an ultimate fresh feeling disappears however remaining without turning creamy or heavy. This is beautiful scent, I'm just addicted in Mojito vibe in this but this is not just that which means of course that scent is not linear. This is something you gotta examine closely to really appreciate. Upon spraying, it opens with bergamot and marine notes. It's not mind-blowing, it's something I've smelled a lot before. As time goes, you get this fresh green note that is also creamy & somewhat floral -- really reminds me of fig even though it's not listed in the notes. During the dry down, the marine note is still there sitting in the background. As the result, you get this perfect mix of airy, green freshness and marine notes. The price is outrageous but it is really a beautiful scent. Scent: citrus + marine opening, fresh green notes that are slightly creamy & floral (very fig-like) + marine notes in the drydown. Sillage/ Performance: intimate to moderate sillage, longevity unknown as I had to take a shower 2 hours in. I imagine it would probably sit on skin for at least 6 hours. Gender: unisex Season: light airy scent that is perfect for summer.

Lovely smell this. It’s exceptionally clean and fresh in a way that hasn’t been done before. It’s unique, and if I could smell like this all the time I absolutely would! Unfortunately the price is insane ($425 for 50ml? Wtf)- but that’s Clive Christian for you.. Longevity isn’t as fantastic as people are saying in my opinion. Not bad for a freshie, but nothing spectacular. You have to reapply during the day which hurts when I only have a 10ml sample and won’t ever be buying a full bottle for the price. In a perfect world this would cost $100 for a 50ml and I would keep buying it every two months until the day that I die. It’s really likeable. Off smell alone I give this a 9/10, maybe even 9.5/10 But if I factor in the price this drops down to an 8/10 (and only because I can’t give a smell as pleasant as this a 7)

this is one of my favorites for the heat. It’s so classy and high quality it smells most suitable for the beach and country clubs. In the opening i get A LOT of apple blossom almost like a juicy red apple backed by some rhubarb which feels more like fresh very pleasant cucumber. As it dries down it transforms into a complete mojito scent reminiscent of laying down on the beach with cucumbers on your eyes sipping a lime drink. i even get a bit of a coconut accord in the background. this one also performs very well lasting all day which is amazing for a freshie however i do not know how the projection is because i have yet to ask anyone around me lol. overall, scent: 9/10 longevity: 8/10 (9.5/10 for a freshie) usability: 8.5/10 projection: ?/10 pricepoint: 4/10

Hm. Not quite sure what to make of this one. None of the notes I get are very familiar, and reading them online only slightly clarified what it was I was smelling. This leans quite masculine to me and honestly smells like a generic cologne or aftershave. Received this as a gift and was quite shocked to see its price. Edit: I take everything back. This isn't one you should smell closely when first spritzed--it's one of those that, as it develops on skin, becomes something quite beautiful. Around 20-30 minutes after spritzing, the overtly cologne scent becomes something more subtle, a skinlike, creamy yet fresh aquatic scent that isn't overly salty and far from basic. Edited from just "ok" to "love."

The Celts, lovers of the apple tree, adorned the bedrooms with the flowers of this tree to favor and increase their desire. Well, this is a fragrance that I find very incisive but also elegant and magnetic: an opening marked by citrusy and marine scents which, initially, could give it more masculine facets, but then these notes accompanied by floral and slightly fruity scents ,make it absolutely suitable for anyone. I like it because it is a Marine perfume but with a great personality, and above all with a truly original interpretation of this kind. And it’s incredibly good. This is so nice! The fruit, floral and marine notes are really well blended. I get some crisp freshness and a touch of sweetness from the citruses and rhubarb, a softness from the apple blossom, and some salty woodiness from the sea notes and woods. It’s definitely got quite a noticeable marine character, although my skin always tends to amplify salty notes. To me it’s like sitting at a cafe on a wharf, surrounded by flowers, drinking a lime spritzer, with the sea breeze swirling around you. More of a summer scent but could work in spring and autumn as well. Good longevity on my skin, around 6-7 hours.

I have a unique approach to evaluating fragrances. Instead of just smelling them on myself, I prefer to have someone nearby wear the fragrance to assess its longevity, sillage, and projection. This is because scents can differ when experienced second-hand or in the air. In my opinion, this fragrance is a hidden gem, and I sincerely hope it's never discontinued. Rating: Scent: 9/10 Sillage: 9/10 Compliment factor: Yes Longevity: 10/10 for a citrus fragrance Projection: 9/10 In my view, it's definitely worth having a full bottle of this fragrance!

Crab Apple Blossom is a summery, fresh, clean, watery-marine fragrance, with just the right amount of sweetness. I get sugar, florals, aquatic notes, citrus and woods. In a way it reminds me of a better performing Millesime Imperiale without the bright fruit notes. The aesthetic is sort of tropical; perfect for the beach. Crab Apple Blossom is quite nice - very smooth, strong, long lasting and fairly natural smelling. Perfectly unisex. I like this one 100 times better than Town & Country. I can’t imagine anyone not liking this.

Initially bright, fresh and citrusy, a perfect Summer freshener. Becomes more tart in the middle, definitely creates the fruity yet very tart feeling of those tiny cooking apples that grow on trees in gardens all over England. The tartness doesn’t last too long though, and it’s mainly slightly salty, fruity, fresh soft citrus. Very wearable. Very unisex. The dry down is softer, smoother, a bit warmer, really lovely. Happy to have a bottle for Summer.

I wanted to purchase this ever since it was released, but it had so many mixed reviews on it and I am glad I waited. I found it at one of the discounters for half the retail price. It is a nice daytime fragrance for spring and summer in my opinion. I do not think it is worth the full retail price. Edit: After wearing it for one night to bed, I wanted to get up to wash it off. That marine note was getting under my skin. I had to return it.

So close to being a true love, this is so nostalgic to me, it smells like I’m chewing on some sour lime candy standing in the salty ocean breeze with the coast in the distance, the mojito I can’t stop thinking as a sour mint or something but this stuff is so weak the dream vanishes very quickly it’s very unique but I think maybe if it was a 100 ml I wouldn’t mind but I can’t say I truly love it enough to buy a bottle maybe on a steal

Man, this is so so good. A high quality and unique freshie This smells like you’re sitting by a luxurious sea side pool, with a freshly scented towel around your neck. You’re sipping a watermelon mojito as the salty sea breeze brushes past your hair. This is a very good vacation fragrance! It's unfortunate that the performance is so lacklustre. It barely lasts or projects. Dealbreaker

Hands down one of the best “marine” fragrances I’ve ever smelt. It’s really well done, doesn’t have any gross chemical/synthetic qualities, it’s fresh- has some mineral salt, not real brine or weird oceanic stuff going on. This is what I was wanting from On The Beach LV, so I can’t even say I regret not purchasing that one anymore

This scent is more of a spring/summer scent. This leans towards a citrus scent. The apple blossom, the bergamot and the rhubarb are divinely blended here. I do have to say that you have to give it about 30 minutes for the dry down. If you can make it through that, I promise you it will be worth the wait.

I can say that this is a perfume that exudes luxury, freshness and lightness. I fell in love with it immediately from the first spray. Its evolution is incredible, perfect perfume for summer. What can I say.... Extraordinary. Sillage: 7./10 Longevity: 8./10 Scent : 9./10 Overall: 9./10

I love Crab Apple Blossoms. It's a citrus, salty summertime fragrance that will be liked my most all people. While not smelling like it, the construction of this reminds me of curve. The price is a problem. If this were a $110 fragrance, it'd be regarded as a classic.
