Jump Up And Kiss Me Ecstatic (2021)

ECSTATIC Julie Pluchet first 2017 > then 2021 in a new bottle, haven’t tried older formulas JUMP UP AND KISS ME ECSTATIC is one of the most intoxicating white floral scent which I know. Bitter sweet orange adds the brightness and guides the senses to the rich floral heart. Seductive and sexy Tuberose is the main player but the blend is so complex that this is much more than Tuberose scent. I like how Jasmine and Orange Blossom are balancing a heady Tuberose since it can be challenging for me sometimes. Ylang-Ylang adds not only an exotic touch but the sweetness as well and Sandalwood in the base complements the creaminess together with it. Amber and Tonka Bean together ensure the depth in the blend but they don’t make it dark in any kind of they and Amber doesn’t perform in an usual way - it doesn’t bring any resinous, balsamic nor oriental character to the scent. This is very special white floral even if it’s not so unique scent than Hedonistic. If thinking the creamy, mellow texture it’s in the same category with Amouage Love Tuberose but the scent differs and Ecstatic is more complex. They both have their own specialities, Love Tuberose having a clear realistic whipped cream in it while Ecstatic has a captivating exotic aroma in it. I had a decant of Ecstatic and Hedonistic for many years before buying the bottle and honestly I just couldn’t decide what I’m thinking about it. Like I have written in my note earlier, sometimes I thought that this is too linear and I was disappointed in it but I was comparing it too much with Hedonistic which is much more unique for sure. Anyway, after giving up the idea of choosing just one of the two, I also began to see more clearly the beauty and uniqueness of Ecstatic and I am incredibly glad I bought both and have them now in my collection. Both are luxurious, head-turners with extremely high quality and exceptionally skillful blending. I have written a review of Hedonistic as well. The longevity is eternal, easily the whole day. After making my sample of Clive Christian Jump up and Kiss Me Ecstatic my SOTD for the past 3 days, I finally have some thoughts: 1. The opening is a balance of jasmine, general white florals and sweetness. There is a hint of sandalwood in the opening that’s a small sign of things to come. It helps to keep the fragrance unisex in the opening. 2. I was interested in performance because my sample is a splash bottle. That means it only went on skin (no clothes). For the first 1-2 hours, this thing completely filled the room. My wife and two daughters all fell in love! My wife kept asking, “What is that? It smells amazing!” 😊 3. As the fragrance dries down, its intoxicating nature takes over. The amber and vanilla come in the jasmine takes a small step back. At the same time, the sandalwood becomes more prominent. As much as I love the opening, the dry down is simply stunning!!! 3. Each day I have gotten about 9-10 hours on my skin. This is amazing because my skin tends to soak up perfume (especially if I don’t have on body cream). At the 5-6 hour mark, my wife and girls were still able to smell the fragrance as I walked past them. Honestly, I can’t imagine how beastly this would be if applied to both skin, clothes and hair 😳! 4. Honestly, I can see this being worn by both guys and gals. If you like Dior’s Ambre Nuit, you will probably like this. No, it doesn’t smell like Ambre Nuit, but it has a similar nature of combining both light and heavy notes into one fragrance. Final Thoughts: I was surprised by Clive Christian Jump up and Kiss Me Ecstatic. That’s because it’s been a very long time since I’ve been sincerely blown away by a fragrance from the beginning to the end. Seriously, I could not stop smelling this. Also, my wife keeps asking when I’m going to buy a bottle (she has ZERO idea about how much this cost 🤣🤣🤣). Here’s the thing, I’ve been so impressed that I WILL be getting a full bottle! Indeed, it is that good! 😊

Wow! This was a love at first sniff, just like with Amouage Reflection Man. These two have a similar vibe, but they are very different scents. Perhaps because of the ylang-ylang and jasmine note. I have experienced lots of frags in the past, but only these two have blown me away. Yes, I would definitely wear this as a guy, but unfortunately It doesn't really suit my skin chemistry. It smells radiant, opulent, shiny, sweet, white floral. This ylang and jasmine combo with floral notes is just fantastic. I love it.

Reminds me of Marfa by Memo! Im suprised to not see any comments on that.they are almost identical, but I think I like JUAKM slightly better. Its like a spicy, citrus white floral. I love it. Marfa has a little less of that spicy kick and sharpness that Jump up and kiss me has. Im not big on tuberose, but this is a nicely blended tuberose that feels classy and timeless

My first Clive Christian. I get lots of bitter orange, orange flower and Jamin, a bit of tuberose, but not that bubble gummy one, a more sensual and delicate one. It’s a beautiful blend of white florals. Sensual, a bit mysterious, definitely romantic and maybe a bit dark. Love.

Very nice. Bought a sample not realizing its a woman's perfume. I would be 'ECSTATIC' to smell this on a woman. The Tuberose is so well done here. No bitterness. Just absolute class from beginning to end. High quality smell no doubt. This is a very sophisticated woman.

Say what you want to say about this house, this one is a beautifully crafted fragrance. For $300 at fragrancenet it is not a bad price.

In beginning reminds me poison classic by dior... but much better and softer! Love it! Not for office... very sexy and very wow!

Night tuberose... I realize now I was unfair to this fragrance, so I’m updating my thoughts. This is a dark bubblegummy tuberose... it has a slight ambery sweetness, but it’s not overwhelming. I usually associate tuberose with bright, beautiful mornings, but this one belongs entirely to the night. There’s a bitter-sour note that pulls it downward and makes it feel unique, mysterious, complex, and seductive. It takes you by the hand and leads you into the dark. For me, this is the perfect fragrance for a special night out, when you’re looking to make a bold statement. It opens up with rich, heady notes of tuberose and ylang ylang, then dries down to a beautifully creamy blend of sandalwood and vanilla. Absolutely intoxicating!

I tried it in the store on the seller's recommendation. If I'd looked here before trying it, I wouldn't have. Not because it's bad, but because it's a feminine scent. A perfect everyday fragrance for a mature woman who has got things together in life.

Resinous (which isn't a bad thing), but that synthetic cherry is not the most pleasant one to my nose. It is nice and well composed, just not for me. Definitely not a blind buy, get a sample first.

Eh, this wasn't my favorite perfume to be honest. The white and yellow floral heart notes are lovely, but the woody notes, amber, tonka bean, suede and vetiver were just too strong for me and dialed up to the nth degree. There was also a strong whiff of an alcohol scent to me and I found this fragrance to be quite masculine to the extent of smelling unisex. On the plus side though, it didn't give me any headaches! Overall this fragrance was quite strong in the sillage department on me and it lasted about 8 and a half hours on my skin. The longevity was really good, but this perfume is just slightly too strong for my tastes to be honest! There's something very old world smelling about this fragrance and a bit dated, despite it being released onto the market only 2 years ago. It's not a youthful fragrance to my nose at all. I also feel it would be too strong for either spring or summer during the day and could only be worn at night during the fall or the winter. Overall, a midling 6/10 for this fragrance for me. Pretty bottle and packaging though, I'll give you that!

Orange Chewits. That's exactly what popped into my head when I first sampled this, and it's never gone away. It smells like someone's eating orange flavoured Chewits with their mouth open nearby. I like orange Chewits, but I wouldn't pay £300 to smell like them. I'm glad I sample most things before blind buys now. To be fair to Clive Christian's creations though, out of 6 I've sampled, this is the only one I haven't added to the 'buy at some point' list, and I already own another one. That's a pretty good ratio for any house.

Insanely good syrupy sweet tuberose opening, holy shit it’s pretty damn good with a mix of sweet vanilla and warm spice that hugs you up close, I so wish the dry down worked on me but there’s a sour nite and I think like the suede leather or something just straight attacks my nostrils I don’t think I’ve ever had such olfactory whiplash before but I think I just gotta let this one go

Syrupy sweet orange flower with a buzz of very bubblegum tuberose. If they made a Love Don’t Be Shy Vintage Poison flanker it would smell like this. It turns to a skin scent on me in around two hours and feels more like a designer “intense” flanker than a niche touting its perfume oil concentration. Disappointing for tuberose lovers, fans of LDBS might enjoy it.

Через пару месяцев я была проездом в москве, случайно зашла в бутик парфюмерии, увидела ecstatic , брызнула и побежала гулять на арбат. Поняла сразу, что аромат изумительный. Но забыла о нем. Но в октябре я, наконец, купила аромат, и поняла, что он будто другой. Резковат, тяжеловат. Почувствовала, что аромат сложнее, чем изначально я почувствовала. Сказать, что я прям влюблена, - нет. Это как новая подруга, которая интересна, но не проста, не совсем понятна, но интересна, вызывает уважение и хочется узнавать ее больше и развивать дружеские взаимоотношения. Это про дружбу в рост. На перспективу , не на каждый день, но то, что дает расширение и растяжку. Возможно, это про возраст. Но я все же, склоняюсь, что тут скорее про состояние души , определенное настроение или, возможно, даже какой-то выход, НО, я решила для себя , что каждый день в жизни -он уникален. Так что если я захочу нанести на завтрак и аромат подойдет под одежду и настроение, да гори хата, как говорится. Интересно, глубоко, статусно, многогранно и красиво. Не для каждой, конечно. Но и цена тоже определяет, конечно, ценительниц этого аромата. Мне от этого аромата тепло, дорого. Очень классно с ним пойти в открытый ресторан с подругой, а потом плавно перейти в уютный бар -ресторан, пить просеко и охмурять красивого парня, потом выйти с ресторана, прыгнуть в такси бизнес класса, не посмотрев даже на него больше и укатить в закат. Что я и сделала😃

This is my second time giving this fragrance a try. I recently got a new sample and it’s a lot more musky than I remembered. The opening starts off with a strong blast of pepper and powdery musk, giving the perfume a vintage feel. After a few minutes the musky dusty opening mellows out, but still remains present. Then the white florals blossom and you get a creamy blend of tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom mixed with amber, vanilla and sandalwood. The vanilla and amber add some warmth and sweetness, but not as sweet as Madonna truth or dare or Mancera velvet vanilla. This is like a more refined, elegant version of those two. The notes are very well blended, smooth and dense without being cloying. For a brief moment the orange blossom and vanilla reminded me of love don’t be shy, but it quickly became overpowered by the strong heady tuberose. The first time I sampled it there was a stronger bubblegum note. This second try I can hardly notice it. It’s a beautiful scent but I can’t get past the strong mature musk. Ended up having to wash it off.

I had very high hopes when I sampled this recently. It has all my favorite notes and nothing I struggle with. The opening is glorious explosion of spiced, juicy orange. One of the best openings I’ve ever smelled. After about 30 minutes it morphes into a creamy tuberose supported by subtle ylang ylang. The tuberose isn’t bubblegum at all; it reminds me of the tuberose in Rouge Malachite and Quattro Pizzi. I get little hints of the sandalwood and woody notes in the mid as well. Unfortunately, around the 2 hour mark everything just drops off and I’m left with a musky suede dry down. Someone else described this as ‘olfactory whiplash’ and I have to agree. Update: After trying the scent again in cooler weather I’m left with the same conclusion- An exquisite opening and mid with a sad, boring dry down. A 2-3 hour experience. I also don’t doubt that my decant is legitimate because I smelled this at the CC counter and the dry down on the card was the same as the dry down I get on my skin.

stunning Clive Christian tuberose! the bitter orange with sweet florals create a ball-pen ink effect in the opening (remember those pens that smell of sweet bubblegum?); then it heats up into an almost indolic, forceful tuberose-ylang combo, and finally settles into a bubblegummy, creamy-sweet tuberose with a makeup profile. despite predictable notes, the composition is unique to my nose... and veeeery pleasant I’d say this is for those who find carnal flower too green and want smth creamier and sweeter. it’s also a nice alternative to kilian’s love if you need something more original. lastly, it smells like a tamed, aristocratic, luxurious version of boclet’s cocaine.

Beautiful, balanced and delicate creature. The opening is delightful but I'm struggling to describe it. It's smells almost like someone is lightly cooking sugarcane in the distance. After that it's orange blossoms and tuberose with some leather, amber and wood in the background. Very interesting and enjoyable. I think this could be worn to the office without any concerns. Leans slightly feminine. Scent 80/100 Performance 70/100

Woah, this is extremely leather forward. The citrus and white florals are here but it's way too leathery and there's this super astringent vibe. I don't like it on me at all but I can see how this would be attractive on the right person. I'm saying this as someone who likes vintage fragrances- this has an air of maturity that would not fit a woman younger than 50.

Bubblegummy and sweet, very heady floral. You have to like tuberose to like this one. An expensive way to smell like a more refined version of L’Interdit. Tuberose, Jasmine and orange blossom blend into that recognisable white floral mix, with a vanilla base. Don’t detect anything else.

this is the best tuberose I have sniffed so far on the market as of may 2024. very well done blend that is in harmony with the orange . which are the key players this is bottle worthy . am def getting a botltle

Reminds me of moonlight in heaven but without mango. Maybe Tiziana Terrenzi Atlantide. Lots of tuberose and to a lesser extent, but still easily noticable, ylang-ylang and orange blossom.

Not a big fan of tuberose, idk why I bought it, especially at retail, I returned it a day after too, over all just pure mid. High quality yes, overwhelming tuberose also yes.

One of my fav fragrances! The only fragrance I’ve ever purchased a backup bottle of. Stunningly beautiful with amazing sillage!

Intensive, can't sense the tuberose, bitter opening which slowly turns into sweet mid notes. I like it.

This smells almost exactly like Feijoa fruit. (One of my favorite fruits)
