CLIVE CHRISTIAN ✨ No 1 Feminine ✨ (2001) One of my perfumes which has a very special place in my heart. Something which I was dreaming of but never mentioned it to my husband. And just one day he came home from his trip to Italy and he gave me this as a souvenir. ❤️ I remember when trying this for the first time a long time ago. My first impression was “hell no, what is this”, the blend was so unfamiliar. Later I found myself spraying the little vial and sniffing myself continuously. This is one of those vintage style perfumes which has a successful yet totally unique scent profile. It’s glamorous, rich and very complex. It’s charmingly soapy and it’s powdery but it’s as well woody and even fruity but not in the way than the fruits are mostly performing. There is a rich floral heart of Iris, Osmanthus, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Carnation, Rose and Orchid. The whole mix opens up with fruits including many of my favorites - Plum, Peach, Apricot and Mandarin (+ Mirabelle, Lemon)- with a spicy kick from Pimento and Cardamom. But those fruits are not juicy fresh joyful ones, they are so refined, luxurious and classy fruits, a little bit dusty and melancholy ones (in the nice way). They are like that ancient painting of fruits with dark yet faded colors. All those flowers and fruits are laying in the bed of Vanilla, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Cedar and Tonka beans. And again it’s not how it sounds - not sweet, not Vanilla like. It’s creamy and soft though. This perfume is not only special because of how I got it. It’s very special as a blend and it’s not anything like Chanel No 5 or Samsara (I love those both) or any other vintage scent. Just wanted to mention since some seem to find it similar with those which I absolutely can’t understand. Special is as well the formula which has remained unchanged. I highly recommend this one for everyone who love vintage or vintage style scents. You won’t be disappointed. 💎 Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. Okay Okay so I except the point about the price of Clive Christian juice and the hype surrounding this scent in particular... Just because it's the most expensive doesn't make it the best.(1872 & X are more to my taste) Okay so this isn't and I except that it is similar to many a fruity floral musk which you could get much cheaper. I bought the set for my girlfriend and to me all three smell incredible without really blazing a new trail but I honestly don't know what people expect from these fragrances? I can only comment on what they deliver and I would say trying them once is not enough to appreciate the fine nuance and complexity they bring to the table. No.1 is an energizing spiced, fruity, floral which has some of the milky sweet quality of white florals mixed with exotic ylang ylang, sandalwood and musk. I for one get the complexity of this fragrance and it delivers on quality but maybe not to the degree which would command such a high price. But again...what would? What does a fragrance have to do to qualify for these kind of prices? Gratify you sexually? make you dinner? (It doesn't have to...If you treat your significant other to No.1 you may just get both;) My girlfriend enjoys it for what it is anyway hyped or not and she smells amazing wearing it. She gets unheard of longevity and projection compared to perfume she usually wears. No.1 is pretty good then...sure it's gimmicky but not many will deny the smell is pleasant.

With this covid, I am homed, and have been perfuming a lot :) I brought this out, and yes, I still love it. The price point is mute, if you love it and want it, get it. If not, don't. It is so lovely on me. It does remind me of the older days, which were grand. The music was grand, the aura was grand, everybody tolerated and tried to make friends, and manners were abound. Very floral, and unique like the women I looked up to during those days, they smelled like this. Yes. Having said that. This is really only for when I want it, knowing the $$$. I will use it and hopefully pull the trigger on it again. If I had to choose one fragrance to take with me, it would be Clive Christian No 1 Women. Yep. I hope they spray this on me in my coffin. My last request. CC No1 Women, and the other outrageous $$$ fragrance I would choose next would be BR540. I have others, which I love, but these two are my top 2. However, I would choose to repurchase BR540 over this, because it is more approachable. It is on the top shelf, so you have to pull a chair over to reach it, or a ladder. Up there alongside, is her sister, Amouage Gold, then sits BR540, slightly to the left, being it is more unisex.

The scent depends on you, your mood, your heat, your diet, etc. In a generic way, a generic judgement would be that it is overall beautiful, intoxicating and feminine. However, if I put it on during a day when I am stressed, careless, busy, the scent is busy, somewhat like an Amuage Gold, it totally reflects me and my day. The real alchemy of it is this: if I wear it during a clean, calm, quiet, decongested day, mood and body, a very different, unique scent is revealed - 180 degree difference! Being natural 100%, unlike synthetic scents which are always the same, No. 1 Clive Christian is a mirror of you, wrapped in the most astonishing scented ingredients on earth. So before you judge it, you have to look at yourself, the other 1/2 of the scented story: how and what do you contribuite to it? Then you have the answer.

I have this for 6 months now. But I had never really "worn" it. -just light spritzer due to the price- but today I have used it, after all it is Christmas, it was georgous on me, I had quit a bit of positive comments. I am really pleased, I could smell myself even after 5 hours. I red that some people make a comparison with Chanel n 5, well I don't get that, I don't like n5 at all. This n1 of CC is on my skin and clothes so much better. I also don't experience it as old, neither did the people I was with, they all liked it. Longevity and silage are very good on me. I can only say for me it is class, so thought my companions. I don't feel sorry for the price after all one doesn't smell it continuously on other people. I like it quit a lot and I will use my 50 ml bottle at special occasions.

I know I'm a bit young for this fragrance but I just HAD to sniff the most expensive perfume in the world out myself! So when I dropped my Saks last summer, I took a whiff on a sample and I really liked it. It was too mature for my age but the smell was really nice. It was woody and floral and I loved it. I took a tiny sample on their really nice sample paper (haha) and I put it in my wallet. One thing I heard from the lady at the counter was that this perfume lasts for a long time and she was right. Now, when I open my wallet, I can still faintly smell it. I also love how the notes are so different but in sync. With similar brands, such as Chanel, the whole thing just smells the same from the supposed top to bottom notes. I really wish I could get it when I'm an old lady. :P

CC1 for Women has all the good quality of an exquisite fragrance and it is so good that I bought it at the spot. I smell high quality ingredients in this fragrance and understand why it is so expensive, which can be of many reasons; however, I didn't get the full size bottle then as US$850/50ml was really too much to spend on one fragrance but did get the travel set of 10ml each of 1872 and X and No 1 for women for US$250, which is more affordable. I must point out that CC fragrances are made with mostly high quality natural ingredients and they need time to develop on your skin. You would be amazed how some of CC fragrances developed or I should say opened after you had them on for a few hours.

I can see why Chanel no5 is mentioned. This has lots of sandalwood though unlike the Chanel and no aldehydes. A good dash of ylang to. It's a rich, very formal ladies fragrance. A fragrance for evening wear and perhaps women over 40. The first thing to pop into my head was it's similarity with one of Roja Doves women scents. It does smell very old school. It's like I'm testing a vintage Chanel no5. Tbh to price point is rather daft. It's very nice but I have similar Roja Doves. I get good longevity and moderate sillage.

the best..., always one of my most loved perfumes. It smells class/wealth, regal, sexy...different from everything, very recognizable, bold but elegant! I think that was the perfume that Katy and William were wearing on their wedding. This perfume has it's own character, and if your character is different from it..it's a wrong match. .A person who wears it is an extraordinary individual. Smart. Elegant. Well mannered, but not a snob. Knows the quality, does not settle for less.

I have gone through a couple of bottles in the last couple of years so I must like something about it. When I wear this I feel like I'm a lady from the 30's or 40's dressed up on a train traveling through Europe. There is something old world about this frag but not old fashioned or outdated. Just really nice but it better be at this price. Prefer it in cooler weather.

I ADORE this fragrance. I realize that on *some* people it may be a little loud or offensive as it's topnotes are on the stronger side but it's mid-notes and drydown are simply gorgeous & lush! I picture this as something a real Princess would wear or someone who lives on Park Ave. in a Penthouse with a Chanel wardrobe and LV luggage! It is PERFECTLY regal and royal!

i got the travel set for women in a recent Neiman Marcus sale. I had sampled these a few years ago and i remember that they were very strong and heavy floral fragrances so i wanted to try them. i love this one in particular!! soft, sweet, feminine, powdery, woody floral. sophisticated, warm, well made. will have to get the big bottle soon.

I have already written a positive review in which I stated I would keep it for special occasions due to the price well I like it a lot, so much that I want to use it not only on special occasions, so I just bought a back up bottle, and washed the epic off and wear now Clive Chrisian one, a treat for myself from myself...

Fruity, warm, sweet, and lightly spiced opening settles into a gorgeous powdery scent. At this point, the fragrance is so beautiful, elegant, and understated that I would like to make it my signature scent. Sillage and longevity are moderate.

This is heaven in a bottle, by no means this is more feminine its perfectly unisex in my opinion 10/10 also does smell way better then no.5 chanel .

This is pure luxury!! I was gifted this by my fabulous husband...te amo mi amor! So aromatic, rich, smooth. All the notes are so well blended.

i like it, not for my usual edgy style. i like it for that time i want to be elegant lady. still im not sure iwant it for 550$

It was a gift for my birthday from my hubby. I didn’t have a chance to try it before. I made a lot of attempts to approach it and trying to like it taking into account the price tag and gentle attention of my husband. It is not a bad scent. There are worst on the market for sure. But for this price tag it does not respond to my expectations. Every time I wear it something bothers me. I do not feel myself comfortable with it and so I won’t wear it for special occasions nor for weekends. I find it a bit retro and there is something from the good old school. So I use only a tiny spritz or two if not this perfume literally suffocates me. From my point of view is most appropriate for winter period. I feel definitely plum, peach and ylang-ylang in the opening. Ylang-ylang, tonka beens, carnation on the balsamic beneath in the middle notes leading it to the kind of oriental fragrance type. The complexity and power of the fragrance is definitely there but there is a vibe of 90ies. It was probably a revolutionary fragrance at that period but the time change. This perfume has an excellent marketing and even on the bottle you can read « created using the rarest and most precious natural ingredients », « N1 the world most expensive perfume ». It gives an envy to possess it. But the smell itself does not justify such a high price tag and all this marketing around it. P.S. BTW there is no diamond on the bottle. The bottle is coloured in rediculously kitschy gold only without any precious metals. The fragrance is made in UK. For those asking the question a diamond is only on the limited number of bottles with much bigger price (over 3000 Euro per bottle). So this fragrance is more and more banalized with only an excellent marketing around it remaining from the past glory. It permits to continue to sell with an exceptional net margin based only on the notoriety and bling bling.

I'm a huge fan of Clive Christian No 1 for men and have been for years. I have several back up bottles. Love the stuff. So, today I finally try the women's version and I'm pleasantly surprised by how similar they are to one another. It's pretty similar, but there are definitely some differences, like there being little/no citrus topnotes, like no1 men. I get more of a peachy smell. It’s more creamy-floral right off the bat (I get a blast of ylang ylang) and there’s less aldehyde. It stays fairly linear from the middle, on. It ends similarly to no1 men, with a more subdued clean, musky sandalwood. It’s not quite as complex as the men’s version, maybe a little more 'powdery', but it’s very nice!

I LOVE Chanel #5 in it's ALL manifestations. So it was pretty predictable to also like this piece. It's not the same as Chanel #5. It does not have that champaign spark, that bubbly feeling, but it's creamy instead. It's like a lost cousin of Chanel #5- same family, but different. I feel that the way to wear this beauty is to spray on neck hairline and on the hair brush, to give a tiny hint of this secret to your clean hair, This perfume should not be over sprayed, otherwise it will reveal that old-lady vibe, but hidden, secret, small touch will add charm, creamy, dreamy, feminine, maddening vibration. Same as Chanel Comete and Dior Dioramour. Very sexy and very secret.

This smells very similair to and is a richer version of Ninna Ricci's L'air du temps which is my mom's favorite perfume and she was so saddened by the new watered down version that she no longer wore it. I gifted a decant of this to her and she said it was a much richer and beautiful version. This is a very mature, old fashioned rich floral which smells pure class and lasts all day.

It's very similar to Chanel No5, Samsara and later to Rue Cambon, I don't see the point, those are original and superior. Pass. Even the fact that they printed "The worlds most expensive perfume" on the bottle implies what kind of buyer they are luring in and what values they built a company on. Very very tacky. -

Honestly @smallbiztaxlady, I’m right there with you. One spritz and suddenly I’m wearing pearls, holding a cosmopolitan martini, and telling the neighbor kids to get off my lawn. Yeah, second spritz and suddenly I’m the grande dame of the bridge club, complaining about how ‘perfume used to mean something.' This isn’t just a dupe of Chanel No. 5. At the third spritz this is Chanel No. 5 after four divorces; three dirty martinis [hold the vermouth I'm on a grapefruit diet]; two eye lifts; and a lifetime of judging everyone’s hemlines.

Initially, the smell reminded me of working in a garden in the morning, with fresh dew still on the plants and leaves and a bit of the morning fog still lingering. A blend of greens, some earthy notes, and even some traces of something clay or brick-like. As the top began to fade, a more powdery note began to surface. By the end of the day, it smelled like a floral baby powder to me. All in all, an interesting fragrance but the price is too steep for how I feel about it. Fortunately, I just got a small vial as a sample.

This smells exactly like how I imagine a powder room from the 1940s would have smelled like. The opening to this is, quite frankly, terrifying. I wasn't expecting such a strong scent, it almost took my breath away. I hate to use the term 'it reminds me of something my grandma would wear', but this genuinely reminds me of my nan! Maybe she used to wear this, or a scent with very similar DNA. I can appreciate why some people would like this, and it does smell expensive and luxurious, but it's not for me.

It’s too much of nothing special that stays forever.

Scents are very mood based for me. Either I am in a particular mood and it enhances it or a perfume makes me feel a particular way and I can use it to either enhance or change a mood. This perfume makes me feel...embarrassed. I'm embarrassed that I bought into the hype and the advertising. I'm embarrassed that I did a blind buy of a bottle based on the exclusivity of being able to have such a "prestigious" scent. Forget price, designer, and reputation and focus on the actual scent. First off, there is a suffocating blanket of powder, the likes of which remind me of the elderly ladies who have lost their sense of smell and therefore appear as though they bathe in perfume or the very potent scent of a baby after you powder their bottom. There is nothing "expensive" smelling about this element. In fact, quite the contrary, it smells cheap and common. There is plenty of floral. It rushes out, as if in some type of race, with each trying to outdo the other. There's rose, neither deep and mysterious, nor delicate and sweet, just loud and a bit brash. There's a dainty jasmine which is quite pretty. It's light and airy, in just the perfect amount but it's bullied by the other florals. There's also carnation, which feels out of place, and I'm sorry to say that mixed with the violet reminds me a bit of a funeral arrangement. After about 2 hours the powder fades quite a bit and I can detect a bit of tartness, and exquisite mix of the amber and sandalwood. The rose dulls (it's no longer brash), the carnation disappears and what's left is a haunting jasmine with a whisper of rose. Here the perfume is more balanced but the powder is still a veil over it and the most pronounced element. It's also very low sillage now compared to the powerhouse it was in the first two hours. After 4 hours the perfume has faded into oblivion. Imo this is hardly worth the extreme price because it's impossible to tell if this blend is truly made from the essential oils of the rarest flowers. It doesn't seem so considering the permeation of powder throughout. I think people might enjoy the perfume once it is past the extreme powder stage but for me, it isn't a fantastic perfume, it's fairly mainstream and dated. So it's definitely not worth the cost to me to have to endure 2 hours of choking powder to get to a common, dated perfume.

I received a generous sample this morning so I cleaned, scrubbed, neutralised - all for what? What???? A bit of uric-smelling jasmine, ylang-ylang and iris? Could this really be the most expensive perfume in the world? I appreciated that sniffing from the cap (geriatric ward); and the first spray (cat-pee) are not a good indication of a perfume and it needs to settle on the skin. Well, settling it is and I'm currently on the grotty old make-up case scent level - so I'm off to do some tidying and will be back to edit this after a few more stages! EDIT: This has been on more than long enough now to give the end of my honest appraisal of this! The middle notes of No.1 didn't change far enough for me NOT to continue to smell the old Samsonite make up case I threw out cos of it's whiff (now I can start to compare this with Nez a Nez's Marron Chic)! Further along the base notes take effect and I'm left with a powdery nose that is reminiscent of Chanel 5 - however, Chanel 5 is slightly stronger and better! For £500 I expect choirs of angels not grubby old make-up cases! Silage is low. Longevity not enough. 2/10. Save your money there are far better perfumes out there!

This scent was a huge letdown. I was looking forward to trying this scent because I enjoyed my 1872 feminine sample very much. When I sprayed No.1 Feminine though, my husband and I were instantly surprised at how underwhelming it was. We both had the same thought and that was that it smelled like industrial hand soap. Maybe it's just my body chemistry but it is disappointing nonetheless.

Maybe it's the way the bottle looks coupled with the name "1" that 100% mismatches the actual PERFUME inside it that causes me to dislike it. Blind buy which was a MISTAKE. I don't like the introduction, I don't like the drydown, I don't like the base. Doesn't smell sophisticated AS EXPECTED heck does not even smell unique. A bit rude, too. Tries to be exuberant, comes off as unrefined.

Oh,my.I really wanted to love this fragrance as the notes that were described are usually up my alley. Not so in this case. I can hardly believe the willingness to shell out such an outrageous amount of money for this frankly disappointing and overrated scent. Old musty, matronly aldehydes are what I get and the drydown is no better.

The worst AND most expensive blind buy for me so far. It might work for somebody, not for me. Heavy, suffocating, old. I read reviews before buying and some people compare it to Chanel n5. I do not think they have anything in common.

Screams no5. Maybe a little better on the dry down but It’s a no from me. Glad I just bought the sample.

I am not familiar with the maison, but I got a sample while buying Blindfold by l'Objet (complete opposite of this - which is woody, clean and lactonic). Where I live, we only have an official retailer for many niche houses, so it's a good way to discover new houses, but in this case, it was a pure disgust at the first sniff. I don't write reviews like this easily, but when I test samples from fragrances I am not familiar with, I always test without investigating anything online to get the impression of how I would feel if someone wore it next to me. As I said, it's difficult to write this, but my first impression was - a mixture of urine and acidic blood. This lasted for an hour and a half and then the dry down became more wearable (bearable) as the sharp top notes were fading and the more powdery ones became more noticeable. However, it still kept that vibe from the beginning, which I could not ignore. I also found that it contains rose and vetiver (which a strong NO in any perfume for me, except one with a delicate rose), but I didn't even detect rose and vetiver here. The initial sharpness dominated even without my least favourite notes. I don't know how this can be considered feminine, or even a perfume. I only experienced something like that with another sample from a different house I don't remember, which was labelled as unisex, but smelt as burned tire and nothing else.

The hype surrounding Clive Christian and his expensive line of fragrances began with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding in 2006. Supposedly Katie chose to wear the pure parfum version of Clive Christian No. 1 for Women as her bridal fragrance, which was touted at the time as the most expensive perfume in the world. I naturally succumbed to curiosity and ordered a small sample of Clive Christian No. 1 for Women. I had to experience pure fragrance luxury. Clive Christian No. 1 for Women is a beautiful fragrance, despite its lack of originality. It's a complex, heady floral that reminds me in many ways of classic Amouage Jubilation 25 for Women, another expensive, luxurious scent. Clive Christian No. 1 for Women is a dense chypre floral with buttery iris, crisp bergamot, ylang-ylang, peach, cardamom and rose. As the fragrance develops sandalwood, tonka and musk become more apparent on the skin, adding a richness to the overall composition. This is not an overly modern fragrance, in fact many may consider this scent to be 'dated'. It certainly pays homage to classic perfumery, sharing many similarities with classic Amouage and Guerlain, so if these houses float your boat you may enjoy Clive Christian No. 1 for Women. I am surprised that the projection is rather soft on my skin, as I expected something much deeper and more pronounced, (especially for how much money one pays to own this). I have to be completely honest, Clive Christian No. 1 for Women is overpriced for what it is. Don't get me wrong, this is a quality scent crafted with skill, but for $800 AUD for 50ml, forgive me for expecting more.

It is so loud for the first hour on my skin, it HURTS to put my nose up close to smell it. “Big White Flower Syndrome” X “Big White Powder Syndrome” X 10—there are no edges to defend against the whiteness of this whale. I would give this scent one star without a second thought, and consider rating it no stars, to punish it for its over-the-topness, except for the drydown phase. After about 90 minutes, the powder element cuts down to about half, the floral element dies down to about a third, and finally the woods get the all-clear, coming out of hiding to give some structure. What emerges from the all-white-everywhere of it all is a highly refined pineapple element. I say pineapple, and I don’t like smelling like fruit. But imagine saying “pineapple” to yourself as you don a blue jeans jacket. That is the smell of the fresh flesh. Now imagine saying “pineapple” as you slip naked into a chinchilla floor-length coat someone is holding open for you. This is THAT pineapple. Perfectly, perfectly soft, perfectly smooth. I’ve worn #1 a half-dozen times, and I’ve blacked out what it smells like when you first put it on—it’s just too traumatic. But I remember this pineapple powder drydown. Without loving it, it is a smell that spontaneously makes me say the word “magnificent” every time I think of it or breathe it in.

I made the mistake of purchasing a sample, because I fell madly in love with a perfume that I'll never be able to afford. When I applied my precious sample, I was underwhelmed. It was pleasant, but a bit powdery. About 10 minutes later I told a friend, "I'm starting to smell the $800." The scent remained on my wrist the rest of the evening, and I couldn't stop smelling it - even though it's a more delicate scent than I thought it would be. To me, No. 1's strength is the balance, and that's perfect from beginning to end. While the sandalwood note comes through in the drydown, it isn't overpowering at all -- and never gives off that "leftover from the day before" aroma of many other perfumes. I'll just keep playing the lottery, I suppose. And buying samples whenever I feel like treating myself to this delicious scent!

From a carded sample... This is quite beautiful and refined. My favorite of the 4 CC's I've tested so far. I get a spice reminiscent of ginger in this, reminding me of THOO Ruby Red but with a floral-Samsara like backdrop. Very nice, feels more modernized though. Not an "old lady" perfume, but certainly reads as elegant and put together. The touch of spice is what makes this feel special though. Not too spicy but just enough to add something special. The fruits add some sweetness too, but well-balanced in the composition. I would pick up a full bottle at the right price. This is the type of perfumery I enjoy. Nothing is making me go ga-ga over it but it is just a well-done fragrance. I can also see men wearing this and smelling amazing although it wouldn't smell masculine on a woman either. Try it.

So, I"m going to write a review of the perfume itself and not its price tag. Rebellious, I know. Alright, Opening act. I"m not drawn in, to tell you the truth. The citrus is biting and chemical-ish, and ho hum for that. After 20 min I get a strong powdery note and hints of soft florals, and this I can live with. But it's still just a 'pleasant' scent with no wow factor. Enter final act. My oh my! Here I get Ylang Ylang and a wonderfully blended, highly polished base note. This is where the scent hits its stride, becoming something you would follow after like a bloodhound. I'm really impressed with this phase, its just stunning. But oh oh... when the five hour mark hit the show is over. Longevity is not what I'd like, and this is when price becomes an issue. Not worth it, IMO

rttoronto's review hit the nail on the head. I was given one of the sets of 3 in a black case as a gift and I am wearing No. 1 now. The first thing I thought was modern "chypre" in the vein of Chanel's 31 Rue Cambon, which I also have. I don't believe in this idea of "modern chypres as either it's a real chypre with oakmoss, or should be called something else. With that said, it does hint at the idea of a classic chypre. Although Clive Christian's No. 1 was launched years before Chanel's 31 Rue Cambon, I think Chanel took the idea and made it more refined. While the Clive Christian is nice, for the money it costs, I'd rather spring for the Chanel.

Blind buy, review based. Samsara.and Chanel.5 as comparisons. How could I not ! However, they're not really alike - maybe more Samsara ?. 1 spray will blow you into orbit, my eyes take a while to come back to earth. Later as it settles .. DIVINE ! Unisex perfectly ! This is thickly buttered soft bread. Warmed with that paprika note. It's Definitely powdery (SOFT spice golden powder). Nothing .really stands out and because it's not overly sweet (which i would have preferred) - it's txt book case unisex. It's also very Sublime edp Patou. A reviewer wrote : after about 3 hours the angels come. It's true !

I get a lot of ylang-ylang from this perfume, some powdery rose, and not enough fruits or none. It makes me think of Chanel No.5 and some older perfumes from the early days. I am not that impressed with it, especially the shocking price. However, it's a very powerful And extremely rich fragrance. It covers every scents samples I have on from my skin and on papers. Damn!

Its packaging,"Stunning!". Its bottle,"Luxurious!" Its longevity and sillage,"Lasts a long time!" It's scent,"umm.... ok......." this perfume became famous for it packaging and bottle, but the scent is not that special. yes it does have some ylang-ylang. but it is lacking something. In my opinion, Angel by Thierry Mugler is better.

My first impression of this was it smelled like a vintage perfume...one from Chanel...with real animal musk. This is gorgeous. After reading others’ impressions I’m glad to see I wasn’t off, and do very much see a similarity to Chanel no.5. Though not listed, there’s an aldehydic quality to this. A very feminine, regal choice.

Very daring yet ladylike perfume. The smell is pretty floral, but not fresh light floral, also it is not heavy. after few minutes of spraying the smell gets more enhanced and intense. Moreover, it very long and I always get compliments when I wear it. It is very expensive, but it is worth to every penny.

It's so expensive that I hesitate to open my sample. Gave a sample away in a Giveaway earlier this year. Bottle looks eeriely familiar. . . maybe Tanglewood Bouquet by The Crown Perfumery Company. (See picture I posted in "this perfume reminds me of" section.

I just used a sample of this one, really beautiful and heavy. Will recommend it only for night time use or cold weather. It smells a lot like samsara Guerlain maybe about 90%. So it’s a way cheaper version if you like it.

This is best from the line. If someone wad fond of original chanel no 5 or amouage gold women, they will appreciate this one. Scent is luxious a lityle powdery but in a very sophisticated way. Clean floral at its best

Don't love it nor do I hate it. Rather I am indifferent. There is nothing special about this. Smells like old style women's perfume something dior, chanel or givenchy would make. A heady floral
