Today we shift away from the familiar brightness of the Elysium line and step into the world of Clive Christian—one of the most prestigious and notoriously expensive fragrance houses in modern perfumery—as we explore Town & Country. My previous encounter with the brand left me underwhelmed, especially given its sky-high pricing and reputation for opulence. But Town & Country, a revival of a historic Crown Perfumery formula once worn by Winston Churchill himself, carries a sense of gravitas and heritage that demanded a fair second look. Based on the notes, this fragrance promises a refined trio of aromatics, woods, and ambergris, aiming to deliver a classic masculine sophistication worthy of its lineage. Whether it can redeem my earlier impressions of the house or continues the pattern of prestige overshadowing performance is what we’re here to uncover. Let’s step into its storied legacy and begin. Opening: The opening is aromatic, warm, and woody. With only three official notes—clary sage, sandalwood, and ambergris—each one plays a distinct, easily identifiable role from the very first spray. Clary sage leads with a fresh, spicy aromatic accord touched by bright citrus nuances and subtle piney undertones. It feels clean, masculine, and immediately engaging. The ambergris rises to meet it with a warm, slightly sweet, skin-like glow characteristic of high-quality natural ambergris. To my nose, it's reminiscent of the type used in Baccarat Rouge 540—an impression confirmed instantly by my wife, whose favorite fragrance is BR540. Rounding out the opening is the sandalwood, providing a sturdy, slightly powdery woodiness that anchors the composition and gives the brighter notes something solid to rest upon. Dry Down: The dry down remains warm, woody, and aromatic, but the balance shifts notably. The ambergris becomes the dominant force, pulling the fragrance even closer to that BR540-style DNA with its warm, sensual radiance. Beneath it, the sandalwood gains a bit more presence, enhancing its powdery, creamy woodiness and adding depth to the base. The clary sage, once a major player, moves to the background, now contributing primarily its piney, aromatic facets rather than its initial brightness. The result is a smoother, rounder, more ambergris-forward composition that retains the original freshness but settles into something richer and more refined. Performance: The performance is exceptional. Initial projection within the first hour is very strong, easily reaching six feet with a dense scent trail. After a few hours, the projection and sillage remain largely unchanged—remarkably stable for a fragrance built on such a minimal note structure. Even at the 7–8 hour mark, it continues projecting nearly as strongly as it did at the start. Town & Country lasted at least 12 hours on my skin before becoming a true skin scent, showcasing performance that confidently sits alongside many of the strongest fragrances in my collection. When to Wear: Much like Baccarat Rouge 540, Town & Country is highly versatile. Its balanced blend of warmth, woods, and aromatics makes it appropriate year-round, whether day or night. It works casually, pairs beautifully with special occasions or formal attire, and can even be safely worn in an office setting—just avoid heavy overspraying given the impressive projection. Blind Buy: This is not a safe blind buy for one reason only: the $500 retail price. Even mass-appealing, versatile fragrances can become regrettable blind buys when that kind of money is on the line. But evaluating purely on scent alone—ignoring price—Town & Country is relatively safe. It's smooth, modern, and broadly appealing, the kind of composition many people could wear with confidence. Final Verdict: Town & Country has, without question, rekindled my faith in the house of Clive Christian. Where my previous experience left me unimpressed, this fragrance demonstrates the kind of craftsmanship the brand is capable of at its best. To my nose, it presents as a more masculine, more wearable interpretation of Baccarat Rouge 540—sharing that unmistakable ambergris-driven DNA but enriching it with cleaner aromatics and a refined sandalwood base. The result feels familiar yet elevated. Adding to its appeal is the powerhouse performance, which remained strong even at the 12-hour mark. The only drawback is the $500 price tag, which I cannot justify at full retail. Thankfully, Clive Christian fragrances often appear at discounters, and I’ve seen Town & Country selling for under $200. At that price, I can absolutely see myself adding this to my personal collection. It is a standout from the house—polished, versatile, and beautifully engineered. Winston Churchill wore this, you know. Town & Country is a modern classic, which is quite something for a fragrance that was first sold over a century ago. Many of the comments on Fragrantica note its similarity to BR540 and there is certainly a comparison to make there but I own both and find Town & Country sweeter, richer, more citrusy and even better performing. It is my go-to for when I want to smell good in a way that impresses everyone. Readers of my reviews may know that I tend to wear fragrances that I like for my indulgence and enjoyment and that I do not give much credence to how others perceive them - and me by association. I have several that I love but am dimly aware that others probably do not share my view. In fact of my all time top five fragrances this is the only one that could genuinely be described as a universal crowd pleaser. Town & Country is one of those where others seem to enjoy it as much or more than I do. So let's have a look at the notes. There is jasmine and some lemony bergamot in this in the head accords to my nose but not in the notes and I swear I can smell some berries as well. The clary sage is there in the middle but the heart of ambergris is very dominant and is what carries this fragrance. I've always thought I could smell Ambroxin in this but I believe it is just the very pure ambergris. I don't think Ambroxin was a thing back in 1925. For sure this is the strongest ambergris core I've ever encountered and it is worth nothing that Town & Country doesn't go sickly or cloying if you overspray or wear it hot weather in the way BR540 can do. You aren't going to get a ambroxin headache from this. Oddly, Town & Country is much more forgiving of a bit of over-indulgence on the atomiser than BR540 EDP/Extrait or the even better Desire du Coeur by Thomas Kosmala are, despite being an unarguably stronger and heavier fragrance. It is easy to imagine the ebullient, irrascible, irrepressible, unsinkable Winston Churchill, (a wartime British leader a million miles removed from the absolute non-entity jellyfish we have now) in a really fine three piece Saville Row suit giving off clouds of this, cigars and Pol Roger champagne as he stomps purposefully into a hushed room. I couldn't imagine him wearing BR540 but I can absolutely see the great man wearing this. The base notes are sandalwood officially but I'd be amazed if there is no amber in this. There may be something leafy and fresh in the base as well to stop it from going too rich but I cannot quite place it. Tomato leaves perhaps? It is a creamy, sweet and very, very rich base that serves to anchor the ambergris middle. It is a nicely structured, forceful and dominant thing that is logical and very put together, much like Mr Churchill himself. The effect when you wear this is quite something. It is a legitimate 12 hour fragrance and projects with potent sillage the whole time. Town & Country garners compliments in a way few others in my rapidly-growing collection ever have and although I do not wear fragrances for the approval of others, it is nice when people tell you you smell wonderful, isn't it? As with BR540, this is a very wearable fragrance that goes with almost anything. It is also just as unisex as BR540, though I'd love to know what Mr Churchill would make of a woman wearing this. I have the feeling this was nowhere near as unisex in the 1930s and 40s as it is now, or indeed that the whole notion of unisex perfumery had a rather different dynamic than the one we enjoy today. Clive Christian make some wonderful and incredibly expensive fragrances and I am very fond of several others by this luminary British house. I'll be reviewing Crab Apple Blossom a bit later but, of all their creations, Town & Country remains my favourite of theirs and one of my favourites ever. Town and Country is everything you expect from a fragrance that is $500 for a small bottle and comes from England. It is refined and elegant. Aromatic in a very subtle way. In the beginning, there is a slight citrus not mentioned in the pyramid. It lasts for maybe five minutes and then the sage comes in. This is where the elegance really shines. It's almost effortless in the transition. Perhaps even mystical. After an hour, you'll start to notice small effervescent pops of spice here and there. Just enough to notice but not too much to overwhelm. There is an editorial hand at work here. And this is one of the elements that separates extraordinary work in perfumery from the manufactured trash marketed to you at the department store. Clive Christian stated that they wanted to begin in the English countryside and arrive in the city of London. That has been executed very well as the fragrance moves you on that olfactive journey without having to administer any images in your mind beforehand. I personally think that is another factor that separates a true artist from just another bottle. I sprayed the fragrance around three hours ago, so I hope I have a long day ahead of me to test the fragrance even further. I have gotten a compliment from my mother, whether that counts or not I'm not sure lol

Ok so I really like Town and Country. A fresh modern take on a vintage barbershop cologne, and I know people will disagree with this. It doesn't smell complex, but I think it is if that makes sense; a lot of trace materials, time, and love had gone into this. I don't think, however, it's worth the price tag at all considering I don't see anything rare or expensive in the ingredients, and it's only a 25% concentrate. But hey, I'm not a perfumer. Yes the bottle is beautiful, yes Clive Christian revived an iconic and historical perfume house/cosmetic co... But £400 for 50ml? Come on! The connection to some fat sweaty conservative patriarch (yes the war etc but let's not forget what he did to the Irish) is not a selling point for me, quite the opposite. Nevertheless, it /is/ a beautiful scent, and I've worn it around some people who've swooned over this fragrance and ended up getting themselves a sample. I like my darker, gothy, insence, woody, dirty leather, niche-coded, and "out there" fragrances, but if I'm going to have something fresh and mass appealing in my collection, then it's gotta be this. I really like it, I just think it's too hyped and too expensive. Although, lovely. 7.5/10 groundbreaking? No. Luxury? Somewhat. Overrated? In my opinion, yes.

I love this one. I'm pleasantly surprised because of all the hate, but I assume it's mostly due to pricing. The only commonality this has with BR540 is the prominent ambergris note, but Town and Country is very natural smelling as opposed to the nose-blinding note in BR540. I don't get any OFG from this. The opening has some citruses, like lemon and maybe a soft tea note that carries throughout. It has a rugged barbershop flare that gives it a masculine edge. The Ambergris is amazing and provides a slight saltiness that mixes with the sandalwood perfectly. The aromatic clary sage blends beautifully (this creates the barbershop vibe). I wouldn't say this is a nuke, but it performs above average, with great sillage. It makes it a unicorn when you factor in that it's a natural-smelling freshie. I got a deal on a 10ml so this was affordable. With the size of my collection, 10mls will last me for months. The retail pricing on Clive Christian fragrances is ridiculous and I would never pay that much for a 50ml. With that said, thank god for discounters. Once my 10ml is done I may have to buy a tester bottle. I would say if you can buy a bottle for around $150-$200 it's worth it. A little goes a long way. This is sample worthy for sure.

Okay I felt compelled to come here and say something because this is freakin awesome. This is a masculine elixir that smells heavenly. There’s a few fragrances that smell like this combined together with others. The citrus ambergris combo here smells like vintage aventus, as well as another citrus ambergris fragrance I love from Oddity called Resonant. They both have this metallic ambergris with some bright citruses. I then immediately get a sweetness akin to BR540 extrait that smells like you layered the fragrances above with BR Extrait, but this is a lot better smelling and higher quality. Then randomly throughout the day I kept getting whiffs of Bleu De Chanel Parfum, more so the powdery aspects. I also layer BR Extrait with BDC Parfum so that’s probably why I could sense a similar smell. Throw in a touch of spicy amber and aromatics, then cover all of these amazing scents with a creamy layer of Sandalwood. It’s absolutely stunning. I know all of these comparisons sound wild, but I 100% pick these fragrances up at different stages blended into one composition. Oh and the silage is insane. 10/10

More of a barbershop-y fragrance than something similar to BR540. I don’t see much similarity with BR540 at all. More of a Tom Ford Beau de Jour style and very masculine. Town & Country is very long lasting with good projection. Office friendly if you don’t overspray and is a great all season fragrance. This fragrance is more complex than the listed notes would imply. In fact, I have no idea who came up with the list of only 3 notes. I definitely get bergamot and juniper on the opening, then incense, cardamom, patchouli, amber and cedar. This is an excellent and very high quality fragrance that is very versatile. Perfect with jeans, shorts or even a tux. I would literally wear this anywhere. My only negative is likely not going to surprise anyone... Town & Country is VERY expensive. Still well over $200USD/50ml at discounters is still hard to swallow. Once I finish my 10ml traveller, I won’t be buying a full bottle unless I get a great deal. Very highly recommended in any case, I just wish it was more reasonably priced.

In the first few seconds I thought that Town & Country was simply an elegant modern barbershop aromatic fougere, because the bright bergamot, lemon and sweet earthy clary sage were instantly recognisable. Then came the expected spices, woods and amber. The longer I wore T&C though, the more I realised that this was a fragrance with a fair bit of depth and complexity. The notes are Bergamot, Juniperberry, Lemon and Clary sage, White Tea, Sandalwood, Olibanum, Cardamom, Cedarwood, Grey Amber and Patchouli. Town & Country is a fragrance I’ve thoroughly enjoyed wearing every day for almost a week now. It’s uplifting and elegant. The silage and longevity are moderate. Unfortunately the price is not. And that is the only negative thing I have to say about Clive Christian’s latest release. Some fragrances are worth saving for. I haven’t decided yet. Please try T&C yourself. Clive Christian fragrances usually don’t make me start looking behind the sofa cushions for lost change, but this one just might.

A gentlemanly fragrance for all occasions! Obviously based on a 100-year-old fragrance, but to my nose smells sufficiently modern for a guy in his 20s like myself. I think the notes and accords listed on Fragrantica are a bit misleading, I get the listed notes but I am also definitely getting more. The opening is very bright and zingy, and there seems to be some kind of gentle spice in the mid (probably cardamom as speculated on other sites) that would probably bother me in other fragrances but is a welcome addition here. I think I also get more ambergris into the dry-down as well. Though I managed to get a 50mL bottle at around $200, the price is a huge drawback, so honestly I would go with Emeer by Lattafa on a budget. Emeer and T&C are extremely similar, and though the quality of T&C is probably better, Emeer's difference in price is not at all proportional to its difference in quality. Incidentally, my mom smelled both frags side by side and liked Emeer better!

Town & Country is a fresh, invigorating and sophisticated fragrance for a modern gentleman. With a refreshing and vibrant opening of lemon and juniper, it begins almost as a citric cocktail of juicy aromatics. The clary sage comes through soon after which is slightly powdery and green, before making way for more complex notes. The lemon and juniper persist as white tea and sandalwood bring this comforting creaminess to the scent profile, alongside some warmth from cardamom. In the base, there’s a subtle hint of a salty ambergris, with an array of masculine woods and patchouli. The overall scent you’re left smells purely like spring. I can see why Winston Churchill wore this as his signature scent, it smells expensive, classy, gentlemanly and powerful all at the same time. A classic fragrance demonstrating true British perfumery for the upper class. I do think this is overpriced massively, but cost aside it does smell incredible.

Wasn’t going to buy a full bottle of this but the longevity and dry down is mind blowing. I can still smell it on my jackets after a week. A high quality BR 540 kind of base but way less sweet and more masculine, mixed with PDM Greenley that has beast mode longevity and sillage. Such an addictive smooth blend. It also has some interesting herbal notes. The notes on fragrantica are not correct as this fragrance has way more ingredients that are not listed. Pricey but only need 2 sprays thankfully, so 50ml will go a long way. I reach for this a LOT lately as it’s so versatile and can fit any occasion or season. Just as versatile as the Aventus line. By the way - the olfactive Pyramid for this fragrance should be the below: Top notes: Juniperberry, Lemon, Bergamot, Clary sage Heart notes: Tea (white), Sandalwood, Olibanum, Cardamom Base notes: Kashmir Fusion, Amber (grey), Patchouli, Cedarwood This goes on my 10/10 shelf

To me there is more to this fragrance than the notes listed. I'm getting a small hint of lemon grass essential oil and a lavender musk along with the listed notes. At some point approaching the dry down you can almost smell Froot Loops when smelling it on skin. It's impressive to me how bold and pungent yet delicate and airy the scent profile, perfectly blended. There is a similar note to BR540 in the backbone, it's not the same fragrance by any means. T&C is extremely complex and will grow on you with each wear. I find is very easy to layer with other fragrances. You really can't go wrong and it's worth the money if you find it on a discounter. I personally wear this to pretty much any outing and I think it's suitable for damn near any occasion in any weather conditions and is one of those scents that will hold a memory if you want it. 9/10 across the board.

My first impression after spraying is this is very masculine. After 1-2 minutes I'm like wait... this smells like BR540 but a bit more masculine. After 30 minutes I'm like this is a very masculine BR540. After 1 hour it doesn't smell like BR540 I mostly got spice, amazing ambergris and sandalwood with a high end citrus riding along. Quality is great obviously being CC and still pumps off the skin after a few hours. The Mysore Sandalwood is becoming more apparent 60/40 with quite possibly the best ambergris I've ever smelled. Slightly animalic but very clean and salty (natural and synthetic). Up there with vintage Creeds. Remains spicy throughout as well and getting slightly smokey. - take note this is a first impression within 5 hours. If someone thinks a clone comes close to this they are on another planet. Worth every penny to have this quality.

Masculine Perfection. It is difficult to understand the complexity of this fragrance... it takes you on a ride. Contains 12 notes, not just the (3) that you see at the time of this review. A fresher Oud for Greatness. Sexy as hell, women love it! My wife closes here eyes and then rolls them when she smells this on me. I’m extremely happy the cost is $450US to keep it exclusive to those willing to spend the money. Any season fragrance. The low rating (3.89 at the time of this review) is a joke, I assume the hefty price contributed to the low rating. A favorite in my collection when I want to stand out and feel important. Please stay sleep on this one, it’s already a secret weapon for me.

All I have to say is... where have I been? I got a sample of this in an order I placed for Boi Imperial which has been my signature scent for sometime now. I had left the sample in my locker at work and forgot about it. The other day I’m leaving my space and happen rediscover it in my locker. Two sprays on the wrist and my eyes just opened wide. This is a very very nice scent. Sophisticated, clean, woody, animalic and bright. At least on my skin. Layered it today with M01. Perfection. Im not getting any baccarat characteristics yet which I like. Will sample for a few more days and then come back to this review.

Very versatile fragrance for any occasion and any time of year, day or night. It's a clean, well put together fragrance. Herbal and ambery aromatic goodness! It is old timey in a way and best for a mature man. The idea that this is a room filler is ridiculous unless they go heavy on the trigger... I wore 5 sprays and it was comfortable and never choked anyone out. This lasts for a very long time on skin and doesn't require a whole lot of sprays. The cost is horribly expensive for a 50ml retail... but the good news is you do not need to reapply or require many sprays to enjoy the fragrance.

Fragrantica doesn’t list all the notes so I’ve popped them below. This is smooth and yummy: warm, woody, and ambery. There’s a slight toasted or smoky note to it which adds a bit of sex appeal. There’s also some grounding from the patchouli which adds depth without being too earthy. Performance is close to beast mode. Smells better on my boyfriend but I like it on a woman too. But come on, the price is absurd. This is one of my favourite scents on my husband. I get a burst of zesty citrus in the top and a dry woody base. Clive Christian are definitely gatekeeping their formula on this one. I detect a distinct airy saffron, although no mention of the note is made. This has a lovely sillage, and give off a very appealing and attractive scent in the air. Even though my husband owns and wears this and I associate it with him, I would say it's a unisex fragrance that could be worn by any and all. It is quite wearable and versatile as well, it suits many occasions and seasons.

The hype is real. This stuff is truly stunning. It's a citrus version of OFG and BR540. It doesn't share the sweetness with the latter, but the use of ambroxan and amberwood is very similar. This puts them in the same family, and is what is driving the comparisons in these reviews. Don't get me wrong - this isn't a clone of BR540, but smelling them both off the atomizer you can tell that they share some aroma chemicals. Performance is monstrous. Quality is commensurate with (discounted) prices. This is a year round signature scent for the well put together man.

Good stuff. Opens strong juniper and citrus, mid is spices I can't really identify, drydown a wicked ambergris and sandalwood combo. Pretty strong, like I spray once under my t-shirt and people still smell me, prolly lingers too. Got good reactions, not sorry for paying the high price. First time I tried I thought this is hacivat plain and simple, twas a cold and rainy day. Now I don't get how I got hacivat, funny how the brain works. Reminds of blue de chanel but more natural. The ambergris is great, the aquatic minerallic kind, natural I think.

I really like this one and can see the similarities to FDB Lucius. I didn't like Lucius due to the pink pepper note becoming a body odor in the dry down, which Town & Country doesn't have thankfully. It opens with a strong citrusy accord and really changes with your skin chemistry. It becomes a dry aromatic wood with some slight bits of spices. My wife ranked this as a C tier on me saying that it smells like walking into a stale room, not bad but not good. But I think it will grow on her when I'm wearing it every day.

I love when simple things are done to perfection! A very classy easy to wear smell. Now considering I bought this for 1/4 of the price of 400~ Euros, I like it very much! Since I heard Churchills name associated with Town & country, I knew I needed this. Lasts a Very Long Time 8-10hrs, I always thought it has moderate projection unless I went nose blind, then its strong! My second favourite fragrance I own! 10/10 if You can find it cheap! If money is an issue, then avoid/get a decant.

2026 review update the scent is so sexy that a 10/10 girl liked it so much that she took my 10ml mini bottle from me . i had to buy a full bottle. luckily i found the last bottle in stock on discounters this is definitely the fresh , non cloying, versatile version of mfk baccarat 540 with a solid perfomance i tried their dupes ( lattafa emeer, fdb lucius ) and nothing come close to this in perfomance, you cant beat clive christian in their fragrance game,...you pay what you get for

Agree with reviewer below. Opens very citrus forward, but seamlessly transitions into a better, more wearable Oud for Greatness. This is by far the best iteration of that style scent. Price being a factor; it’s a 4/5 for me. Scent is a 5/5, longevity is a 5/5, silage is a 5/5. You kind of get what you pay for; but it’s a hard price. I got a tester at less than half the cost of a new bottle. But... this stuff is heavenly masculine year round compliment getter. It’s just that good.

I’m dumbfounded that people make comparisons to BR540. There is little comparison. This is a stately, heavy, serious scent leading with the clary sage, versus BR540’s cotton-candy-sweet, light approach. Price is exorbitantly high (full retail in USA is currently ~$500/50ml)...but performance is amazing (skin scent still clear after 24 hours) and it’s hard to imagine anyone needing more than 2 sprays. That 50ml should last a very long time. Highly recommended.

Anyone who claims to smell BR540 has either not smelled BR540 or Town and Country, or has a busted nose. To me Town & Country smells like a bubbly, fizzy, sparkly freshly opened citrusy soda sitting out in a windy, fresh spring day. Only when it dries down does it lose the fizzy freshness and starts to smell like that same clary sage but less sparkly. It lasts on my skin all day and stays strong like I just sprayed it, according to others around me.

This is so addictive. You can clearly pick out the few different notes. Even the ambergris is distinctly perceived when the sage decreases. I love all the stages. So well put together it's awe-inspiring. Absolutely among the top 3 fragrances I ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Shame on cc for the pricing but I couldn't help myself and had to get a fb. Slightly less than half price is reasonable for the quality imo.

Finally found a "tester" bottle with a cap for $180. This is just addictive. This scent lingers on my skin and clothing, blending seamlessly with other fresh fragrances or standing out as a wonderful scent on its own. Performance is great. 9.5 out of 10 for my tastes. Sample worthy for sure, don't believe the negative comments. My only complaints are that there is no 100ml option and the retail price.

Wore this out on a date few nights ago. Got some great compliments. This smells very smooth and clean in the air. I can’t even explain it but it smells like luxury in the air and very manly. I wouldn’t recommend this for casual every day wear. Unless you’re dressed up casually. I can’t wait to wear this in cooler weather. It’ll do great in the air. I definitely recommend trying this for sure!

I hate br540 but... This scent open like citrus&br540 in a good way. not a sugary toxic way more like an expensive natural zero sugar candy with lemon and herbs in. It chances so much in dry down, The citruses go away and I can't describe the dry down, you have to live. Oud and the Saltyness blend perfectly with herbs. Fresh but strong. Love the perfectly blended town & country

Simle yet top notch refined fragrance you will either love or hate. I can somehow agree with @kp550 opinion, it has this vibe but for me it is closer to FM Uncut Gem which I also like a lot. CC Rock Rose is their interpretation of Sauvage, which I utterly hate. I would not pay the full price, paid half and this is the maximum this juice is worth.

Very classy. The ambergris here is strong, but not sweet like BR540. Don't understand that comparison. This is a sharp, dry scent, no sweetness to speak of. The Clary Sage adds sharpness to the blend. It's a high end winter scent that screams class and money. Don't pay retail though, that's absurd. Find it on discounters. Got mine for ~$200.

A smoother and refined Après l’Amour Thomas Kosmala (No. 4). I have tried it in extreme dry heat and it lasts a long time as a skin scent with decent projection for first 2 hours. I believe there is a heavy dose of ambroxan, not listed. Office safe and unlikely to offend anyone due to being smooth and not too loud. Enjoy!

If you take a look at my collection, you’ll notice an extensive array of perfumes. Yet, out of all of them, this one has garnered me the most compliments. Go figure—it just goes to show that Clive Christian doesn’t settle for cheap imitations. Plus, the ambergris in this fragrance is the most authentic I’ve ever smelled.

I don't understand the reviews stating BR 540 or OFG. I don't get any of that. This is a spicy, aromatic, and fresh scent. I do believe it leans slightly masculine, but a lady can pull it off. Longevity isn't a problem either, I actually think it kinda leans towards a Fougere a bit as well but overall great scent.

The person who wrote the main accords must have been smoking crack! It smells, fresh, spicy, masculine, loud, expensive and most importantly ... unique! Something I bought specially to wear with my dark suits, classy classic shoes, dark sunglasses and Rolex datejust. This perfume is a winner!

This is the best fragrance I ever smelled! One day it smells more like sage, the other day it smells rather like lemon/bergamote marmelade in sugar. It is very unique, niche and at the same time crowd-pleasing scent. Expensive as hell, but for me it's so beautiful that it worths the money!

This is an amazing scent, but I must be going nose blind right away because I feel it becomes a skin scent after about an hour. I was shocked to see most of the votes are on this being long lasting/eternal. I just received it today, so I’ll let it sit for a month and see if it gets better

Such a lovely fragrance! Haven’t stopped wearing it since I bought it, refreshing citrus yet sweet and woody. I smell the similarities in Baccarat in the dry down but it’s much less sweet. Smells similar to under the lemon trees by Margiela but with more sweet notes and depth.

This is probably one of the best masculine scents I've been lucky enough to try. It's unusual, aromatic but also spicy and rich. I can't describe it except to say it's phenomenal. The dry down is slightly medicinal, which is a bit of a drawback, but omg...this is sexy stuff.

Difficult to describe scent to be honest... It's aromatic, a little bit spicy, juicy and mossy, fresh, formal and definitely for all occasions and seasons. Performance did not let down, you can get 11+ hours with this one and fantastic projection. 9/10 fragrance.

Comparing side by side to OFG, they definitively share a similar ambergris base, but T&C is citrusy and aromatic at the top and middle, which lends a barbershop/soapy quality to it. This is masculine and versatile, and does not give me any BR540 vibes.

A very unique fragrance that lasts long enough and very satisfying, woody aromatic different fragrance as usual from this great house. Longevity: 9/10 (more than 12 hours) Projection: 8/10 (about 6 hours)

Smells awesome like a traditional citrus cologne mixed with BR540 unfortunately above my budget 😅. So I will be buying Electimuss Londons Trajan instead not the same but similar vibe and double the juice

I don’t get Oud for Greatness or BR vibes from this at all...this is high class, citrusy musk. It’s amazing and one of my new favorites. Would not pay over $200 for it though, especially not $400+

this is a GIGA mature fragrance. feels like a fougère style with some rugged edges which give character. obviously the retail price is absolutely disgusting, but on discount it is a good buy.

Starts off bright with some citrus touches, and dries down to a GORGEOUS lighter, drier, more herbal version of OFG. Stunning fragrance. Price is ridic, but there are deals out there.

Sheesh 🔥 🔥 and BTW, idk who in the world started comparing it to baccarat extrait but I get none of that! The person below me, imo, described this perfectly!
