Suede Galore

The suede in this is absolutely spot on , just what I’ve been searching for The fruity nuances would have been better left out as makes it initially smell generic , reminded me of Herve Leger intrigue. Great longevity Would like to see a pure suede flanker or mixed with something heavy But the suede is fantastic

Suede Galore is an airy, aromatic take on a suede scent. Ambery, woody and earthy, it is a high-quality unisex scent, not unusual, but an elegant, muted example of the genre. SG has a slightly boozy opening, with tart, aromatic brightness given by the juniper note. The smooth suede note emerges early on, realistic and satisfying, with a soft spicy undertone. As it develops, it becomes dry and woody, but with some clean, powdery jasmine adding body in the background. The suede persists throughout, forming the backbone of this scent. Patchouli adds earthiness in the later stages, complementing the woodiness to perfection. It fades to a musky-woody skin scent with prominent dry vetiver. Sillage and longevity are moderate. Smooth and well-blended with every note serving to complement the suede, SG is a light, bright-yet-soft take on a leather scent. Unisex and transeasonal, this is subtly sophisticated. A nice alternative to Tom Ford whatever. 4/5.

Like others said, very easy to wear, smooth and well blended, it's one of those 'dumb reaches' when I don’t know what to wear, and the same apples to another one of this, which is Roisin Dubh. I've had both for nearly a year, and to be honest, I never really read the reviews till today, and I read it's very feminine leaning, which now after reading it seems like a yes, but the entirety of last year I wore with the attitude that it was unisex or even masculine leaning, so the vote is that it's a tad feminine leaning but completely unisex at the same time, depending on how you wear it I guess. It's lovely, smooth and nice moderate tillage, which is why it is so easy to wear and is a 'dumb reach'. I'd say easily FB worth at their price being below average for a 100ml Niche (currently is £120), definitely worth a try, and an extremely safe blind buy :)

It's a light very wearable and pretty suede-woody perfume with juicy shimmer of something fruity (the official site names osmanthus absolute and I believe it). Due to this osmanthus sparkle the perfume is very light and airy despite being rich in suede and aromatic wood notes. I think it might be the perfect day-time (even office) suede perfume. I guess one has to smell it to understand how leather, wood and fruitiness can go together, but the result it very pleasant and loaded with happy energy. Worth trying!

This does smell like suede and it performs with an even-handed, average sillage which is admirable. Some leather scents either die too quickly or are overpowering and synthetic. I did not get much of the floral, osmanthus or peachy notes - I had expecting something along the lines of Daim Blond or even Bottega Veneta but this is actually much simpler and much more straight suede than either. If that's what you're looking for, give this a go, but I cannot imagine needing this in my life.

Quite a delicate, non-overwhelming fragrance. It is very pleasant to wear, also during the day, stays on the skin for a long time, after a few hours it leaves pleasant musky-powdery notes. On cold days, it wraps with aromatic wood notes, often my nose wandered to my wrist. It's worth a try if you don't like heavy suede notes, here they are well combined which gives the form a certain lightness.
