Coach for Men

Coach for Men smells good enough to drink. It opens with bright, juicy pear and bergamot notes which smell delicious without being too fruity or sweet. It then develops into a very clean, aromatic and comfortable woody fragrance. This smells rich and luxurious, and is versatile and crowd-pleasing enough to be worn for most occasions and temperatures. Of all the cheaper Bleu de Chanel style fragrances out there, this one smells the best. It’s easy to find online and at discounters for $30-40 for a 3.4 oz/100 ml bottle, making it a great affordable option for any young man who wants a safe, yet sophisticated fragrance without breaking the bank. The main drawback with this one is the performance and longevity, which has been disappointing. Even with a healthy amount of sprays, it becomes a skin/clothes scent after about 2-3 hours, and fades completely after about 6-7 hours. I doubt it’s a skin chemistry issue since I’ve seen this as the most common complaint by far about Coach EDT. Not every fragrance needs to be a projection beast, but this rarely radiates past an arm’s length, and most people probably won’t be able to smell it on you unless they are very close. At least you never have to worry about overspraying, but don’t expect it to be a huge compliment puller as most people won’t really notice it. I tested all of the flankers except the new EDP formulation at my local Macy’s, and they all smell really nice and are a great option for someone looking to expand their collection beyond the cheaper brands. To my nose, Coach Platinum has a similar scent profile to this one, as did the Jimmy Choo Man and the Ralph’s Club by Ralph Lauren to a lesser extent. Coach Blue and Green smelled quite different than the OG, but still very good for different reasons. Overall, Coach for Men EDT has a 10/10 smell with 5/10 performance. It smells like a $100 bottle and performs like a $20 one. At $30 for a tester it’s an easy blind buy, but given the poor performance I would recommend sampling their whole line of flankers to see which you like best. Depending on personal preference, they are all potentially great budget options for any man in his 20s or 30s.

Amazing value for money, especially when you don't buy at the retail price. I got mine for about €29 for a full presentation (they had €24 testers, too) 100 ml bottle, which is a great deal here. It's a slightly sweet, fresh, addictive fragrance that you wanna spray again and again... because it doesn't really last, unfortunately. I absolutely love the scent, though. If you like Bad Boy Cobalt, for example, it's in this wheelhouse (not the same, don't get me wrong), but the same mix of sweet and fresh. People around me say it reminds them of Sauvage and BDC but they are way more aggresively fresh than this one imo, even though I kinda see why people make these comparisons I also laugh out loud at all the uncles here trying to say it's bad while they spend their money on Aventus Absolu for €380 only to get complimented by other uncles. Do what I did and make a blind test with this one - regular people tend to think this scent is WAY more expensive than it actually is. All in all, awesome scent, especially for the price. Just wish it lasted longer...

I get why people compare this fragrance with the scent of a man out of the shower, this smells exactly like the CLEAR mint shampoo with a lavandery fruity fresh premium twist which gives it a more mature vibe, you won't smell like a teen who wears axe if you're wearing this. It smells like a fresh men's mint shampoo but in a more sophisticated way, the Bleu de Chanel vibe is there and it has nothing to do with Sauvage, way more creamy and powder, very likeable scent indeed, it is perfect for work, college or even a casual date with your girlfriend, a remarkable head turner. Coach for men really encapsulates the allure of a rich, well dressed, short-bearded man who knows what he wants from life. 10/10 blind buy, if you like fresh blue fragrances and you haven't tried this one out you're missing out, it's worth every penny, very empowering and uplifting fragrance.

I will never understand why this doesn't get the hype that it deserves from Youtube reviewers. This is my favorite of all the "blue" scents available on the market. It smells absolutely incredible. Fruity, a bit spicy, fresh, woody and smooth. This is has a lot of great facets that are missing in some of the more popular "blues" on the market. I own a lot of fragrances, both niche and designer and this fragrance is absolutely worthy of a place in anyone's collection. Some reviews below complain about performance but on my skin this projects well and lasts 12+ hours but even if it didn't, it's so inexpensive at discounters that you won't break the bank by respraying halfway through your day. Scent : 8.5/10 Projection : 8/10 Sillage : 7.5/10 Longevity : 10/10. Compliments : YES! Overall : Amazing value for the price.

I’ve had Coach from the beginning. Recommended by YT creators. When I first started getting into fragrances collecting 10 months ago. I didn’t wear it a ton, but I liked it. It’s an easy dumb reach, versatile and surprisingly long lasting scent for an EDT. 4 sprays on my neck and lasts nearly an 8 hour work day. Obviously not as loud towards 2/3rd through. I can around to spring this year and started wearing this more and I truly enjoy the heck out of it. It’s one cheapie I’ve toyed with selling. But it’s honestly too good. I’m keeping it. Sweet and aromatic. Unique pear note, playful and pleasing scent to those around. A lot of good notes and easy to wear. Solid 8.5/10

This is such an underrated scent. If you like blue/green freshies you can’t go wrong with this. It’s familiar - like shower gel but elevated - then again I can’t think of a single cologne that smells exactly like. I think it’s the pear that sets it apart. I’ve gotten more compliments from this than from any of my expensive fragrances. When I tried it out at Macy’s the sales girl made sure I tried the black bottle before the blue, green, or silver. She was right, this is the best one. If I was to find one fault it lacks that highly refined, expensive vibe of many high end designer and niche fragrances. If they somehow fixed that it would be my favorite fragrance

Coach for Men could be the most undervalued fragrance in the market today. Someone else recently said this smells like a, "men's clothing store at the mall" and that seems pretty accurate. But, that doesn't do it quite enough justice because the composition is well-blended and punches well above it's weight. To be sure, this is 100% a safe play. But, when you don't know what else to wear or just want to feel great, then Coach for Men is what you need. Very masculine, with an almost Prada-like scent bubble, that never disappoints. Unique, but familiar. Provincial, yet metropolitan. Youthful, yet established. Your favorite perfume's favorite perfume.

Coach for Men was the first fragrance I bought as an adult. My fiancée mentioned that the scent I’d always worn reminded her of her dad, and that was enough motivation for me to go find something new at Macy’s. At the time, I had no idea what I liked or what I wanted to smell like, so I just tested a bunch of options. When I came across Coach for Men, it was an instant relief — I loved how it smelled on my skin, especially the subtle tea note that really stood out to me. Even after all these years, I still love it. It’s the only cologne I’ve ever bought two bottles of, and I wore it daily for three years. It’s got a special place in my collection.

This is a very beautiful men’s fragrance. It radiates a little softer and differently than most of your run of the mill clean and fresh men’s colognes. The Pear and Kumquat give this one a more unique clean and fresh smell, also adding in that lavender you have yourself a fantastic inoffensive fragrance. It’s slightly sweet as well which adds a nice touch, this is one of the better clean and fresh scents for men. It’s subtle but yet seductive and makes itself known as it does have uniqueness about it. If you like these types of fragrances I would most definitely give this one a try if you haven’t already.

I love this fragrance. It was my first designer scent a few years back when I first dove into the fragrance world, and I made so many memories with it. It's advertised by most as a fresh, generic smell but I easily pick up sweeter notes, percieving it as deeper than a lot of others do but with the same poor to decent performance with it. I discovered I prefer a more mysterious and warm scent profile nowadays, but Coach for men will always have a place in my heart. If you're young and use it as a signature for a while, you won't forget this fragrance, totally recommend.

Starting with a note: it is better than Sauvage, way, way, way better. The only downside is the performance. The opening is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. Fruity, pear is quite dominant. The dry down is fueled by ambergris - ambroxan because it does feel a bit synthetic, but I do not mind that. An affordable, safe scent. You may not love it as much as girls do. They absolutely adore this one. By that I mean heads being turned, those "What is that?" moments on metro etc. One complimented that she cannot withstand how much she loves this scent. 9,5/10

my first fragrance that I bought as an adult. my partner of 6 years told me when we started flirting that I use the same scent as her dad so the next day before our first date I went to macy's and spent 110 on a full 4.2 I think oz bottle of this scent. She loved it, the tea note, the pear, it's all so good. they changed it up recently and doesn't smell as good but I still have a third of that first bottle and whenever I want to be reminded of my partner and how simple life used to be I'll wear it :)

This scent is superior... I liked Coach when I bought it and grown to love it, its an easy dumb reach that is crowd appealing. This scent isn't boring at all and is a great dark and fresh soapy fragrance. And even for the price you are getting a quality fragrance and quality bottle. If only the performance and projection didn't suck I would give this a 10/10. This fragrance is better than Jimmy choo and better than bdc and factoring everything in, this is a perfect bang for your buck fragrance. 9/10

This currently my signature fragrance. I got it at my local drug store for 30$. I like how it starts out it’s fresh, clean and smells great. Opening freshness doesn’t last long and turns into a spicy woody manly scent. It’s versatile AF you can literally wear it anywhere. Only downsides are it doesn’t last all day. And in terms of smell the only thing I think it’s missing is a bit of smoothness maybe a touch of vanilla or something similar idk. I’d rate this a 8.5/10 def try it.

Another versatile you-can't-go-wrong-with-this fragrance, smells really good. I like Versace Dylan Blue (which I prefer more) and they smell similar to me, except that this perfume has more green which is quite distinct and noticeable. Got it at a quite cheap price and I think the bottle looks great. Performance wise, I think it's average, better sprayed on clothes as it stayed longer when I tried it. Personally, I also love this fragrance and would definitely recommend it.

Any place, any time, any weather. Pear, lavender, and amber. This is probably my top cheap fragrance recommendation. Up there with Versace Dylan Blue, the amber leaves the same impression. You can pull this off anywhere and no one is going to be offended. Only reason someone might not like this fragrance is because they find it too basic, and thats really only going to be your fragrance snobs. Love the pear sweetness. 9/10. 10/10 when you consider the price.

My husband and I were checking out men's perfumes in the mall and this one was the only one standing out for us and not only that - it was love at first sniff. This was back around 2017-2018 and this has been my husband's signature scent ever since. It is beautiful, creamy, seducing, interesting to my nose, also super comforting and not that typical men's shower gel scent that I get from a lot of the men's perfumes. This one is an amazing find!

Smell very pleasant and comfortable, very safe for blind buy if you are newcomers to this hobby, absolutely versatile you can wore this at anytime, performance just moderate with good projection still acceptable since it was EDT, there is higher concetration but unfortunately they changes the notes very different with this EDT. I want this scent so badly with higher concetration 😢 Rate? Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 7/10 Presentation: 8.5/10

Coach for Men effortlessly captures the scent of “fresh out of the shower”. It is balanced and wearable in any setting. Like others have said, it struggles with longevity so it may require reapplication throughout the day to remain prominent, which may be annoying for those who prefer to stand out, however; it could make this fragrance a safe bet for the office or spaces where fragrances shouldn’t be offensive. 7.7/10

Local Marshalls (East Colonial in Orlando, Fl.) has the 200ml bottle for $49 on clearance. Solid fragrance. Not my first bottle but definitely my last one since it's a 200ml. Bad Boy Cobalt smells imo very similar only slightly more citrus/fruity, however, Cobalt does last longer than Coach. I do carry a travel size atomizer when I use this frag since it only lasts me on skin using about 10 sprays, 4 hours.

Amazing fragrance for school or work. Not to youthful, pretty masculine, and the ladies love it. One of my most complimented fragrance in my collection to date. Perfect for summer/spring days. You can't go wrong with this aromatic fragrance. this is a very nice & pleasant fragrance, it's clean & fruity but still masculine. it kinda fills the same role of versace pour homme for me as a safe work/school "spray as much as you want" scent. i say that because 20 sprays of this won't offend anybody while giving you decent performance similarly to versace pour homme. with a collection of 25+ i'm probably gonna pick this one up

I agree with Denimtuxedo, Y'all it's $25-50 depending on the size.. Yes it's not the strongest but it's my most complimented of all time out of 150+ Bottles, What will you get? 1. 10/10 scent profile: Women love it 2. 5-6 Hours longevity: Which is avg for a freshie 3. Low-Medium projection: again avg with freshies Over all I paid $49.00 for a 200ML and could not be happier

The only fragrance I’ve ever repurchased. Such a beautiful scent for a great price, and quite versatile. A great choice for anyone getting into fragrances, and a decent shout if you’re buying a gift coz I don’t know anyone that dislikes it. I will say there’s higher quality fragrances out there, but this is beautiful and the best out of the coach line for sure.

Let this macerate for the whole of winter and, oh my god. The sweetness is cranked up to the max, making the pear smell even stronger and better, while still being nice and citrusy. It gets this sort of fresh note with it as well which is just incredible. Longevity is still an issue but, my favourite summer fragrance at this moment of time. Incredible

I have been using Coach for Men for a couple of years now, and I must say - the pear and freshness is a success. May I recommend getting this fragrance from an authentic online discounters? Trust me when I say, you do not want to pay full price at retail when you can save half off the retail market. A great addition for the office and outdoors.

I remember the sweetness to this fragrance it was really delicious yes it was synthetic maybe redundant to other fragrances. Unfortunately the scents did not last long on skin or really on anything but it is you can get it for under 40$ this is a steal also a safe blind buy Smell-6/10 Performance-6/10 Versatility-7/10 Overall Rating-6/10

One of the best summer cologne I have ever have! It’s fresh, citrusy, sweet, aquatic and very masculine scent. It’s not too heavy not too light either. Projection is pretty good on early sprays and fades quickly. That’s the downside. Can be compared to sauvage but not close enough. Highly suggest for fresh scent intosiast!

It’s very good and gets A LOT of compliments. My problem with this is the longevity. The only time it started to last almost all day on me was when the bottle was 1/4 full, almost gone. But it is so good I would buy another one just because of the scent itself. Try it! Might last longer on you.

Very lovely fruity scent. Rounded and complex. Complimantary. Perfect for hot summer weather, but sounds only 1-2hrs. Considering its price, scent is ok for going out not for a long time. If you apply it at noon, at the evening you can safely switch to another one without changing clothes.

Great scent for spring and summer. Not too overpowering and great for the gym or office. Perfect for a daily but I went nose blind to it quickly. If you are interested in this fragrance make sure to shop around to get the best price, there are a lot of retailers who will mark it up.

I like all of the Coach frags but this one I like the best. It reminds me of Carolina Herrera’s Blue Cobalt Electrique edp but without the plum and same depth. Close for a lot less. One of my faves for sure. You can’t go wrong with this one, it is the epitome of the safe blind buy.

Easy daily wear. Can be a signature scent. Very versatile. This is my signature gym scent. Wear to work periodically, but it can be worn practically anywhere. Fresh, clean smell. Love the pear and bergamot opening. Might need to use a few extra sprays in the fall and winter.

This is one of my favorites in my whole collection. The second the temperature starts to warm up, I transition to this fragrance hands down. This will likely remain my go-to choice during the day and occasionally at night in the summer months.

Phenomenal and versatile smell, a shame the performance is absolute buns. Such an easy dumb grab but it will not last on you at all. I'm talking max like 4 hours, but for those 4 hours, you will be the best smelling man in the room.

Its a good everyday office kind of Vibe fragrance with a masculine Woody and fruity scent. For me it was a good blind buy. Nothing special but its what i wanted. Plus its very cheap!

Coach for men is an awesome crowd pleasing scent which I can't dislike in any way !!! It simply does what it has to do - the fragrance smells modern, youthful and pleasant!

I really like it. Smells like a young playfull bisnesman. I get 7 hours of longevity on skin and a moderate projection. Definetly a bottle worthy cheapie. Don't overspray!
