Coach Poppy Blossom

I'm really surprised that this fragrance isn't as popular as it should be and it could be because it is just an ordinary scent with just a brand name labeling it. With that being said, I still somehow managed to fall in love with this scent. I originally went to the store to purchased the original coach poppy and while that particular fragrance is still on my "want" list, when the saleslady told me that Coach Poppy Blossom was now a part of their permanent line, I decided to give it a try. I only recently been building my perfume collection and I've been on the hunt for a signature and I think I may have found it at least for now. Now I'm not good at detecting the notes and all that stuff but this is a sweet and fruity fragrance on my skin. I detect a strawberry note and maybe honey? I'm not sure. I've heard that this scent isn't that long lasting but when I tell you that I sprayed this on my wrist right before I went to bed and when I woke up in the morning, it was still there which means that it lasted on my skin for nearly eleven hours and that's pretty damn long lasting to me. But most perfumes that people say aren't long lasting on them, tend to be long lasting on me which I've always found sort of odd. The first spray is a bit strong so when you are first spraying this onto your skin and your clothes, do NOT overdue it because you can get a headache. But eventually after a minute or so, it dries down into the sweet, delectable smell that I fell in love with. I've never been a Coach fan but I can honestly say that they make some pretty nice fragrances and that's saying a lot since I'm so picky about what I wear.

I got this as part of a small 3 pack sampler long ago, and I still haven't forgotten it. I typically strongly dislike 'flanker' scents- they're almost always worse in some way. This is the only flanker that is leaps and bounds better than the original, and I have no idea why they would discontinue it. The other flanker I tried (Wildflower) was generic and forgettable- another attempt to 'floralize' an original scent with a boring result. This was something special and I treasure the remaining amount and intend to hoard it like a dragon. The strange part is that nothing in the scent profile breakdown is something I would have chosen myself. I abhor anything fruity since bath and bodyworks assailed my nostrils in the 90's. It doesn't describe spice anywhere, but it is slightly spicy. It's so hard to describe how sweet spicy and wonderful this is at the finish. The pyramid and accords both make sense and none at all- it's so well blended- it's like a fragrance that stood on the shoulders of coach poppy and made it so much better than the original profile. It added spice and complexity- leaps better than original. How silly they discontinued it. Get it together Coach.

The perfume industry discontinues fragrances before they even have a chance to circulate for others who aren't carefully watching for the next release to come out from our fave brand... Not all perfumistas follow a brand diligently like that. It's almost like all brands only cater to those that follow them religiously and then forget the rest of the world, although we're consumers too and we're not fly by the night kind either, running to whatever's popular now. No, we're the loyal ones who appreciate a great fragrance and will commit to it for a lifetime and beyond cuz our heirs will likely fall in love with it too. These brands need to stop being so shallow, stop trying to keep up with the Joneses, stop churning out run of the mill, stop being such a follower and lead for once! Dang! It's really not a competition! It shouldn't be about who makes the most money ( and wastes the most of Earth's resources), it should be about quality and authentic expression of one self, embracing who you are. Not changing to fit in with whoever the in crowd is in the moment just to make more money 🤑

I really love this fragrance (I’ve had it since it came out!), but I was really shocked when I read the notes! To me, Poppy Blossom smells like a woody floral with a little vanilla, and a touch of sweet fruity notes. I don’t smell any strawberry at all (that’s fine with me since it’s not a note I typically love in fragrances), but I do pick up a slight mandarin scent. I’ve always thought Coach Poppy Blossom was a beautiful and romantic fragrance. Not as sweet as the original Poppy, but also not quite as woodsy floral as Poppy Wild Flower, but I do feel that it’s closer to Wild Flower. I do also happen to be a big fan of Coach Legacy and Coach Dreams Sunset I typically get great longevity with my fragrances, and Poppy Blossom is no exception... it lasts all day on me! It’s got nice projection too, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. For reference, some of the other floral fragrances I love are: Coach Love(OG), Coach Legacy, Coach Poppy Wild Flower, Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid, Nest Golden Nectar, Flowerbomb, FB Ruby Orchid, FB Nectar, FB Extreme, Chloe Love Story

I bought this in rollerball form in Sephora on a whim. This is the epitome of a cheerful spring/summer day. It's light, slightly fresh, sweet, fruity, reminds me of a picnic in the park on a nice warm afternoon. To be honest, I only wish I could get a bit more sillage with this one, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I get mostly strawberry, litchi, freesia, vanilla & a hint of praline. Give it a sniff! Can't wait to start using this up during spring and summer! <3 It's a simple & understated beauty in my opinion! Scent: 8/10! Longevity: About 5 hours on me before fading. Sillage: Soft, stays close to the skin. Would I repurchase? Probably, if it was on sale! Update: Glad I saved this for the summer! It's beautiful in the heat, it actually brings a smile to my face! Loving this right now! :) My favorite note in this is the strawberry/litchi combo. <3

I bought Poppy Blossom over 6 months ago and just recently started using it. I didn't think it anything amazing but boy was I wrong. I really LOVE the scent. I sprayed it on and 5 min later I was like "wow! Is that me?!" Sure was.. It's a lovely fruity floral frag. I wore it yesterday to work. I only spritzed a little because I work at a hospital and don't want to trigger anything with heavy perfume. After hours of running around the ER, I had three people compliment on how great I smelled. They all wanted the name of my perfume. I was really surprised people could still smell the perfume. Lasting power is great on me! I will definitely be using this baby a lot more.

I can see why this is snapped up so quickly on resale sites. It's a very unique floral fruity and a little bit spicy yet perfect for spring and summer. Why oh why was this discontinued? All the other flankers and the original are available on Scentbox. Makes me sad. I will cherish the .68 oz bottle I have for now. Would love to get my hands on a 1 oz or larger bottle at some point. I will say it's not a very complex scent, but it is very pretty. It's almost right up there with my signature Coach Poppy. Definitely a nice play on the original. I'm pretty sure I smell the litchi and the florals. I'm not sure much of the praline comes through, at least for me.

By far the most potent in the Poppy line. It still maintains the sweet, floral scent Coach lovers adore. The sillage is also stronger than the previous two. I received a sample from Sephora and put it to the test. I found its scent to maintain the signature of the Poppy line, but it came into its own as well. I could still link it to the other two in the line, but there's something different about it that I love. Perhaps it's more serious than the other two. It's sweetness and floral attributes are understated, and citrus and tropical being the top notes. The dry down is total citrus, in a good way. Sillage: 7/10 Longevity:7/10

Smells great and great lasting power as well! It smells sweet and fruity but nothing u would expect a teenager to wear. Fruity but mature. Smells like something a pretty lady would wear ;) Better then the original! the orignal smells good when you first spray it but then it smells like heavy flowers, which i dont like. This one just smells perfect!!! The floral is light but its the perfect add! BTW i recieved from my male friend. He said he loves this so its a huge plus that men will love this on their girlfriends ;)

We have this at the department store that I work at and I've tried it on my wrist several times. While I adore the opening, the mid notes and dry down are not as good. I much prefer the original Coach Poppy. This one seems to lack the staying power as well. However, I do like how it smells, but I just won't be purchasing it.

A delicious scent! Sun-ripened strawberries give way to the softest hint of flower petals. I feel happy when I wear this! Reminds me of berry-picking on sunny summer mornings. The mouth-watering strawberry notes never really fade on me, just become slightly more subtle as the day goes on.

I love this one! My husband bought this as a Christmas gift for me over a decade ago, and I remember it being so, so good! I just bought a travel size of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid, and it smells so similar to this for whatever reason lol so I had to come on here and mention it.

I love this one. It's fruity and fresh and perfect for summer time wear. Good for daytime, I don't think I would wear it for a night out. Very different than the original Poppy, more floral. I like it better.

Well, guys, I did buy this after all! I do enjoy it and I also like the other flankers associated with it as well. This really has a great overall ambiance to it.

I THINK this is the one I bought for my 7 year old daughter this weekend. It had an orange bow on it though, not a flower. What more can I say about it other than I thought it was a good beginners fragrance for a young lady? I like it. It smells good but it's not my style. The longevity is nice. She wore it to church and then to her grandparents with her dad for a school project. When she came back in the evening, I could still smell the perfume. It had dried down to a pleasant, floral powdery scent that did not over power. Standing right next to her, I could detect the perfume so the sillage is decent. It's a fresh clean scent all the way through and I might even snag a few spritzes on days I need the "refreshing" feeling it promises.

It's about time!! This perfume has been out for months, I thought Fragrantica would never put a page up for Poppy Blossom. Anyway, I love this perfume. The best of the series, I think. It's mostly floral but with a touch of fruit. Where the original just smelled like candy and Poppy Flower-pleasant though it is- is a little too brisk and powdery for my taste (probably too much rose), Coach Poppy Blossom is warm and glowing. It complements the skin's natural scent without clashing or smelling artificial. It's versatile enough to wear it year round; the fruits are fresh enough for the warmer months but the lovely florals and the tiny touch of praline, vanilla and woods make for a beautiful fall fragrance. RECOMMEND!

Coach Poppy Blossom starts bright and cheerful with a juicy strawberry and litchi combo. The heart is mainly soft (and a tad powdery) florals; I get rose and freesias mostly. The base is that in 90% of mass market fragrances targeted for women; namely vanilla-woody-musk. Performance is on the lower side of moderate (3-4h). It is office and hospital safe, more for spring and summer. Pretty but generic.

Mans view:?This reminds me of a nicer version of an American eagle fragrance "love" I think. It's very light. I would guess it stays close to the skin. A nice picnic in a park with the one you love would probably describe this. Feels like there is a little breeze in a feild of poppy. I would get this for a girl we a gift.

Another great coach poppy perfume! I love it! I'm a litchi fan and it's very dominate here. Longevity is great. I have to watch how much I spray though because a little bit goes a long way with this one. It can get over powering but in the right doses it's amazing. Very fresh and sweet.

Out of all of the Coach Poppy fragrances, this one is my favorite. I love the bottle and the perfume is sweet but not so sweet to the point where you feel like a teenager. I want a bottle of this now but there's no way I can afford it at this time :( Hmph.

I love this fragrance. It starts out as innocent and sweet, and some might think it might be too sweet, but it's played down by the fresh scent of cotton and vanilla, and some citrus notes as well. It reminds me of Sheer Love by Victoria's Secret.

MMmm...I wouldn't say that it has a litchi note but it's sweet and fruity. It's not an innovative scent, for sure but it's pleasant.

I like it, but prefer the original Coach Poppy. This one is more floral to me and not as sweet/fruity as the original.

I just bought this off Mercari, and it hasn't arrived yet. I'm excited to try this as a couple reviews say the strawberry note is prominent. I bought Burberry Her because it was supposed to have a prominent strawberry note, but I really dislike it and no strawberry to be found. Also, I think this Coach Poppy Blossom has an absolutely adorable bottle. I like to display my favorite bottles on the dresser, and I keep my bedroom dark for just this reason. Most of my collection is in a truly dark, cool closet, but I like to see my few favorites out and I switch them out. This is a total blind buy for me and I'll update once this cutie arrives..... Update: I don't get the strawberry note in this either, or the praline or mandarin orange. It's just florals on me, and very reminiscent of something I've smelled before. I think it might smell like Marc Jacob's Daisy which I own and never wear. It's not living up to all the positive reviews I read on it. It's not bad, it's just not anything I'd have bought if I'd smelled it first. I need to stop with the blind buys.

It’s a completely tart, 🍊citrusy fragrance. I don’t get any strawberry, vanilla, or praline from it at all. All I really smell is orange with a slight hint of lychee. The bottle is super cute and adorable, but I honestly didn’t like the scent. It wasn’t what I had imagined in my head. The citrus note is very dominant and gives it a very summery vibe. The longevity wasn’t bad, it was actually decent. But since I never really used it, I ended up giving it away to someone even though the bottle was really beautiful. عطری کاملا ترش و مرکباتی هست. اصلا توت فرنگی وانیل یا‌پرالاین ازش نمیگیرم. فقط پرتقال ویکم لیچی حس میشه. باتل خیلی کیوتو نازی داره ولی اصلا بوشو دوست نداشتم چیزی ک تو ذهنم تصور میکردم نبود خیلی بوی مرکباتش زیاده و تابستونیه. ماندگاریشم بد نبود. بخشیمدش ب کسی چون واقعا ازش استفاده نمیکردم هرچند شیشش خیلی قشنگ بود

The packaging of Poppy lead me to believe this would be a fun, fruity fragrance for young ladies. There is a definite fruity note from the strawberry. It's a very jammy strawberry too, but it's sitting on top of a bunch of lily of the valley & freesia. Neither of which I find to be very fresh or youthful smelling. I actually quite like LOTV, but I like it because it has a somewhat old school appeal. Coach is kind of a contradictory brand to me and I guess Poppy Blossom matches that. On one hand you have these over-embellished cloth bags that every upper middle class teen sports and then you have these very sober, simple leather bags for sober, simple ladies 35+.

Hideous syrupy sweet mess, like roses dipped in some type of sugar syrup. I found this scent to be really nauseating. I like the other Poppy fragrances- they are fun and playful, nice little florals for teenagers and young women.

This certainly isn't bad for the price. I'm not a fan of straight fruity scents like this. It's light, bubbly, flirty. Short life span though, only lasted about 3 hours on my skin. Smells like candy. Not interesting to me. 5/10

I really liked it at first and so bought a bottle. After a couple hours, something turned sharp and chemical and gave me a headache so I had to return it, darn.

This, to me, smells very chemically. it smells exactly like this suave dry shampoo, which in my opinion, smells awful. couldn't wait to scrub it off

Magickmaven, you bought the regular Poppy (which has the bow), this one, Poppy Blossom IMO smells even better, even on an old fart like me (47).

This smells just beautiful and sweet for a good while. The problem with me is that when the beautiful sweet wore off, after about 2/3 hours, then lily of the valley was what was left, and I don't like lily of the valley. Figures. I really really loved the initial fragrance and bought a bottle. However, after trying another tester today, before opening my new bottle, I am going to return it as I can't spend that much on something that I would have to reapply to keep the original fragrance going.

Got this one as a blind buy. I like the Freesia Blossom (pink one) as I love sweet scents, so wasn't too sure on this one as I'm not huge on florals. I found a 3.4oz at Shoppers for only $19.99, so thought why not! I feel it is more of a summery scent (-40 below here in canada) so I feel i will enjoy it more in the hotter months. I sprayed some on my wrist yesterday and went to put on my sweater again today and still smelt so strong I was impressed! I think I will be keeping this one!

The lady at the fragrance counter today told me that this is no longer LE; Coach is going to be manufacturing it as part of their line! Which is GREAT news for me, because I'm loving this fragrance right now. While it reminds me of many other scents, it's one of my favorites because it's floral but very fruity to me. It also has depth to it; I can't put my nose to it--honeysuckle? Litchi? The longevity is also great compared to other fruity florals/summer scents.

I tried this while at Target, and I must admit I was really disappointed. I usually love fruity floral scents and thought I would want to buy this because I was in the mood to buy a fragrance, but this was nothing special to me. I really didn't like the way this smelled on me and I even tried it again a few days later just toskd sure that there weren't other factors that may have made me dislike this. But no, not for me.

This perfume is a modern, playful and joyful. On me after five minutes I love the sweet moist of Litchi and Strawberry after that is about fresh scent of mandarin orange and freesia and sensual with sweet vanilla and musk. It's so girly but formal enough to wear on dating or working. It's like a girl who love city life but still need to see and feel the beauty of natural.

This is lovely, I really like this,a mix of florals with juicy notes, the overall vibe remains floral which is ok by me, this is a nice Coach perfume, bright and cheerful..the base gets a bit warmer, and longevity is fine..I am glad to have it in my collection.

I got a 1/2 full bottle at the thrift store for $6 and I'm glad I got to try it at such a great price! It's very pretty...... and I hope this doesn't hurt anyone's feelings but it reminds me a lot of Britney Spears "Fantasy" . Perhaps it's the litchi.

I have had great success with the 20 dollar clearance rack at shoppers drug msrt! 100 mls bottle of this gem! Now I love poppy flower, regular poppy, and the green one. Now this! It's very bright and citrusey

I fell in love with this fruity smelling fragrance and bought the big bottle. I drenched myself in it and about 3 hours later couldn't smell it at all! Returning it to Macy's. Very disappointing.

My fav out of the 3 . Not as sweet as the 1st not as flowery as the 2nd. Just wish it was stronger lasting. I have to spray on my clothes to get it to stick. One of my fav perfumes so far.

This has everything I love in a perfume. Perfect citrus/gourmand, lasts hours and has a beautiful dry down. Hot weather friendly is a big plus considering I live in a coastal desert.

This smells the most floral on me of the three Blossoms. Citrine is the most citrusy and my personal fave,while the Freesia is sweetest. They are all lovely.

This is one of my favorite summer perfumes. It is very easy to wear and a soft sweet fragrance like peaches. It isn't intense or sharp but pleasant.

Does this smell like the Barbie perfume from Define Me?
