A truly special fragrance — the emphasis on the cologne style here is entirely justified, with a slightly retro touch, yet very innovative. It's nothing like the colognes launched by Acqua di Parma; to me, this is much more refined and serious. This scent isn’t really aimed at a younger audience — it feels more appropriate for those 30+ and for special occasions, though it can also serve as a year-round office fragrance. It’s worthy of being a signature scent and can certainly be recognized as such. The citrusy opening serves as a gentle introduction, but within minutes, it transitions into a bold, masculine aromatic profile — evoking a true retro-style cologne or a classic masculine fragrance. In a sea of unisex perfumes, this one stands out as distinctly masculine, and that is clearly its purpose.It’s not aggressive, nor is it a heavy, intoxicating retro scent — this is truly an innovative take on the retro theme. A very unique perfume — those who enjoy a hint of retro flair will likely be pleasantly surprised and Chris Maurice has done an outstanding job, as always. The performance is impressive, yet the fragrance is never harsh or overwhelming. It remains steady and balanced throughout. I would also like to highlight the very solid longevity and projection. Unique, intriguing, masculine, slightly retro with a modern touch. I haven’t smelled anything quite like this before. It’s definitely worth purchasing if you enjoy “cologne”-style fragrances and are 30 or older. Kudos to Comporta for this masterpiece. P.S.
