Immortel Cédrat

This reminds me of Aqua Motu. But with a hint of citrus. The opening is a burst of citrus then it turns into some salty fresh breezy scent. This is a citrus cocktail at a Mediterranean beach, chilling in the shades while gazing into the sparkling waves. Second favorite after Aqua Motu.

I don't love it enough to want to wear it but I find the concept of citrusy marine fragrances very interesting. I agree that it is definitely reminiscent of Aqua Motu but I personally find this one way more pleasant and wearable than Aqua Motu (I'm obviously biased since I don't like AM). It also reminds me of Le Labo Néroli 36 in a sense--- they don't smell that much alike, but the vibe is similar imo. However, Neroli 36 smells smoother, better blended. I do agree with agda when they say it doesn't feel like the notes merge together properly. As nice as I think Immortel Cédrat smells, it feels like a juxtaposition of scents and not a proper blend. Still, I think that it's a very refreshing unique perfume for summer. Smelling this on someone during a heatwave would be like a breath of fresh air.

This is citrus, wood, and the beach for sure! The opening is heavy on the citrus. When it settles you get a beautiful salty air note. No weird marine notes or cologne scent. The whole time the cedar is there as a woody undercurrent. The longevity could be better but I find this really impressive. I like this better in warmer weather. On colder days it's really straight up citrus and just a hint of cedar

For a bit it smelled like a crushed lemon leaf... Then, something else. Mom says it smells like generic men's aftershave ~ that about summarizes it. Not unpleasant, but I didn't like it either.

It's like a chimera: the base from their Aqua Motu with cedrat and citrus on top. Feels a bit weird for those who know Aqua Motu well. It sort of falls apart. Does not make a coherent composition but rather consists of two parts stitched together. It might be just my personal impression though but it is neither a flanker of Aqua Motu nor a new standalone scent. A chimera.

Immortel Cedrat is a marine fragrance with citrus. It has nuances of Aqua Motu. It's great for the beach or if you want to be reminded of the beach. It's salty, zesty and citrusy.
