Musc Cristal

I can't believe this doesn't have more reviews, it's feminine, gorgeous and simple. If you enjoyed TBS White Musk or really any white musk (they usually smell pretty much the same in my experience) you'll enjoy this, if you like clean and/or soapy skin scents this is a safe buy. Imo even though you can find cheap similar scents there is something special about this that makes me want this over say TBS or Jovan, I wish I could put my finger on it, but I can't so I'll end it here. 5 out of 5 for me.

Smells like Jovan White Musk for her (which i love love love!). But with a little more presence. This fades fairly fast but the scent is beautiful and a perfect powdery musk. This is what I think of when I think of comforting cozy musk. So good. They better not discontinue this! You can spray it a lot but still have a nice aura around you that's not overpowering

A nice salesperson at the Paris 6th arrondissement boutique made me try it layered with Vanille Extreme and it smelled great. I don't like Musc Cristal as much on its own (it smells incomplete to my nose) but as a layering scent it's amazing. I might be anosmic to some molecules in this fragrance because I don't recognize any of the notes mentionned in the pyramid. To me this gives the feeling of an odd synthetic scent. It has fresh and airy musc and aquatic vibes, with a salty skin undertone. I love that it has no fruity notes, unlike lots of popular musky fragrances. I find it both distinctive and simple in its composition.

Opens up super clean, like water steaming off a stainless steel surface. Drying down there is a more full bodied, somehow synthetic, white musk that comes out. The fragrance is a bit insistent but lasting power is not remarkable.
