Vanille Coco

I sprayed this once on my arm at work and it sent three women on the other side of my cubicle into a frenzy! None of them could figure out what that DELICIOUS smell was and one woman almost sprayed cleaning fluid on herself thinking it was the source of the scent. The other women stopped her just in time. They kept saying, "It's like, cocoa butter, vanilla beans, cookie dough! God, where is it coming from?! Don't you smell that? Is it you?" Vanille Coco is a store-made banana"flavored" cream pie with both natural and artificial ingredients. The dry down is a big dollop of vanilla whipped topping with lingering traces of banana filling. It's not too rich for Summer, though it's also a comfort in that icy meat locker otherwise known as my office. Lasts all day on clothes, half a day on hot skin. projection is moderate. I have not tried the official banana/vanilla fragrance from Comptoir Sud Pacifique, but this is the creamy cheap summer pie of dreams. I refer to it as "the banana pie smell" when talking to my boyfriend about it, and he always knows I mean Vanille Coco.

A very sweet treat. It does smell like vanilla frosting. Creamy milky coconut, vanilla and whipped cream. I have a vial splash sample, so I don't know if put too much, but the projection starts heavy, then after 1-2 hours it's more moderate and less overly sweet, around 3-5 hours I can still smell it but softer. I would reapply after 4-6 hours. On me it's pretty much the same scent all the way, linear but good, so I'm not complaining. The perfume reminds me a lot of Ariana Grande Cloud, I would say Vanille Coco is sweeter, less mature and more beachy. It makes me feel like I'm on a fantasy tropical island. I love it, the scent is yummy and the price isn't that high at Sephora, but I don't feel the rush to buy it since I have Cloud. I will have zero problem finish my sample, it's a fun gourmand fragrance. I'm curious for Vanille Banane for the banana note even if people say the note doesn't last, if there is a banana note in Vanille Coco then it's well blend in, I don't really smell it.

This has been my signature scent for years, I've tried finding new ones but I always come back to this. I smell every note listed, yes - even the banana, luckily. I'm sometimes torn between this and Vanille Abricot (can stop smelling my wrists with either) but this is better for day to day if you want a little more than just sweet apricot. It's powdery from the heliotrope so it adds a depth that you don't get from the aforementioned. Don't get me wrong there are days where all I want to smell like is tooth achingly sweet sugar but this is generally my go-to and it's an inoffensive, crowd pleaser. It also boosts my mood in the winter when I look outside and all I see is a blanket of snow, yet I can still smell like summer in a bottle, so that's also a benefit. Some people say it doesn't last or project on them but somehow I get a full days wear and great projection out of all of CSP fragrances.

Hands down this is my favorite coconut fragrance. If you are looking for a creamy sweet coconut look no further :). The banana cream opening is soft and unusual. It lasts no longer than a few minutes before you reach an explosive heart of creamy coconut vanilla that fades away only to a base of more creamy coconut vanilla :P. I guess the banana does hang around a little but I wouldn't dare to call it a banana fragrance. I would say it is 50% vanilla, 40% coconut, and 10% banana cream. The sweetness is gourmand level for sure. Coco vanille lasts a good old 6-8 hours...while others around you are bound to be thinking yummy, yummy. This fragrance is adorable and snuggly, it gets me in the mood to be nice to people. Maybe this should be part of my pms emergency kit? Biggest warning I can put out there is don't wear if you're trying to avoid eating coconut cream pie!

This is ridiculously delicious! This is not just vanilla and coconut folks. At first I definitely get a good dose of sweet ripe banana. Then the waxy sweet coconut begins mixing in with the banana and produces a really nice tropical vibe. Then the cherrylike powdery heliotrope makes it's way in along with the vanilla and thick whipped cream and it turns into a dessertlike treat! Even though I get a hearty dose of vanilla and cream - I can tell this is a tropical confection. I definitely smell the coconut and banana here, and even though I do get a bit of the plasticky cherry chewable tylenol vibe, it doesn't turn me away. I was looking for this type of fragrance in Coco Extreme, I found it here. Very sweet, very delightful, whipped cream, cherry powdered, cocobanana treat. A fun offbeat tropical gourmand. I have been aching to try his range for ages, seeing it was on offer 100ml for £ 21 at m&s I couldn't resist, I smelt every fragrance and was disappointed by most especially the "cult" vanille apricot, which I found pretty boring, I sprayed a hefty ton of vanille cocoa on not thinking too much of it and went home, however this subtle delicious smell of " warm milky chocolate " kept catching my nose , only very soft, but enough to make me get back in the car and drive back to buy it, I love vanilla but hate that " play dough" smell....this is gorgeously discreet , not as candy ish as pink sugar but just sweet enough to entice me, I love " creme bouquet" by stila but find it can bring on a headache if I over heat, this is a much much softer alternative, I love it & I'm quite fussy!!! Give it a go if your a " gourmet" perfume lover!!

Yum! Vanille Coco is perfect for when I'm craving some sweet vanilla. I purchased my bottle from Sephora in 2014 and this stuff is divine. A cold buttercream opening with a long lasting delicious vanilla heart drying down to sweet candy floss. The coconut adds a nice subtle touch. I love being surrounded in this smell all day and my 30ml bottle is quickly dwindling which says alot because I have a good sized collection of perfumes. Of course when this bottles gone I'll be getting the 100ml. This is a great vanilla for warm and cold weather and suitable for any occasion. Can't say enough about how good this stuff smells. Thanks to Caken'cuddles for mentioning Vanille Coco on the boards. I tried it because of your recommendation and wow, this stuff is the bomb!

Vanille Coco is a true beauty. It’s everything I’ve been searching for in a beach-y coconut scent. The opening was true banana and fresh whip cream. Not that cool whip that comes in a container, no, the real deal made with heavy cream and whipped until the peaks are stiff. Nothing about this scent comes off as synthetic on me, which is surprising because a lotttttt of perfumes do. To me, it’s reminiscent of the tanning oil my mom would buy throughout my childhood. When she finally let me use it myself I started to wear it most summer days because I LOVED the scent... this is that scent for me. My sample won’t last long and it will be my next full purchase.

This is my fifth Comptoir Sud Pacifique fragrance. If you love vanilla scent, this is the house for you to look into. No one does Vanilla as good as this house (if you re interested in gourmands like me) Initially I bought the vintage version of this fragrance that come in a tin like bottle that i loved so much that I ordered my 100ml bottle but to my disappointment the new juice in glass bottles doesnt smell as delicious as the old one. By that i am not saying that the fragrance is not good, it is delicious and i loveee it BUT not as good as the old sadly. It is a great buy. Mouth watering warm coco vanilla for spring/summer.

A soft, sweet, gorgeous scent which would work for summer, winter, day or night in my opinion, although I do understand the references to it being a tropical fragrance. Upon first spray I get a blast of banana, then the vanilla and coconut come into play, all together they settle beautifully onto my skin creating a sweet creamy dessert. As a lover of sweet scents, this works perfectly for me. It isn't cloying or overpowering, neither do I get any artificial, chemical smells from it. This fragrance has made my top five, and I just received it in a swap today! I can't stop smelling my wrists!

If I had read the notes on this I never would have tried it but a sample came in a traveling box and I really love it even though I hate bananas and do not like any coconut unless it's in my candy bar. However, the blend of notes and that strong vanilla is absolutely beautiful and I have found myself sniffing my arm all day. The composition is certainly different than the mixture of notes would indicate. I do pick up the coconut and occasionally the banana but they are so faint and not distracting in any way. I'm going to look for a bottle. Message me if you have a bottle and want to swap!

I love that banana top note which lasts quite some time (and has been eliminated recently according to the producers' webpage). It makes this my happy fragrance for a good mood and not being taken too seriously. The drydown is the exact scent of vanilla crescent cookies! When I wear this, people around me are often disappointed when finding out that I don't carry a "super delicious cake" with me, but it's only perfume. As I personally prefer banana over vanilla crescent cookies, I would probably rebuy the (relaunched?) Vanille Banane instead of the reformulated Vanille Coco.

The opening is very alcohol and smells like vodka mixed with chocolate. The openings very strong and synthetic but after a couple minutes it starts to smell delicious. The alcohol dissipates and it turns into a whipped chocolate and vanilla scent. I don't get any banana oh, I have the old tin can before the reformulation. I wonder if anybody else smells this, in the dry down it smells exactly like vanilla cigars before they burn. I find this to be pretty long lasting and with moderate sillage. It definitely smells like a vanilla cigar about an hour after putting it on.

This has been my favourite perfume for a while now, I'm devastated by how difficult it's getting to find where I live lol. It does pull quite vanilla-y (according to people who have said I smell like french vanilla/cookies/sweet things while wearing it) but I personally can really detect the coconut. It lasts a moderate amount of time on me, so I carry a smaller bottle around (when I'm not rationing it, c'mon CSP I'm running out...). The scent is consistent, I don't find it changes on dry-down. Really just a nice sweet summery perfume for coconut/vanilla enjoyers.

I just love this! Now- the top must be banana cream and heliotrope. Don't know heliotrope, but I smell of banana cream a very long time. Not faint. Half of day you get bananas with paper-like vanilla (why paper? dunno, vanilla has pretty structure- kinda dry? velvety, unusual must be because mixed with cocos). Next scent develops into very sugary vanilla with hint of cocos and still banana cream. Reminds of Pink Sugar very much. It's just perfect for fall/winter I'll say. Stays long. PS. !!! Look at the notes! ? Has it been reformulated?

Thanks! Update: This one is safe to buy in its newest incarnation. I had the old one, and I just bought the new one and they are identical. Wish I could say the same for Vanille Abricot, but Vanille Coco was always my favorite of the two anyway. Yay!

Nostalgic - it's a perfect replica of a generic sunscreen I'd wear growing up. No ylang-ylang or other yellow tropical flowers - yay! It's simple, non-offensive, fades quickly and does not suffocate everyone around me. I'd wear it at home, sometimes layering it with something long-lasting for a quick, fun "summer" boost. I'll also bring a full bottle to the beach because it needs frequent re-application to be appreciated. The price is fair for the scent and performance.

I was gifted a sample from a friend and I figured it would just be like meh smells like most other gourmands I don’t really like but boy was I wrong! This is stunning! It smells like this beautiful mixture of gourmand smells that for once don’t make me smell like a teenage girls purchase from a Claire’s store of cupcake fondant icing sprinkles or something like that lol I’m not good at explain notes especially gourmand ones but this is heavenly

I am dying for an awesome banana perfume. It is not a popular idea or smell in perfumery, but ever since we made the smell ourselves in chemistry class I've been hankering for a banana-bomb. This is nearly it, the opening is full of banana candies and I love it but within 10 minutes it is just super sweet vanilla. It is still nice but not as bananaish as I want. I want a small bottle of this nevertheless.

mmm, I smell the coconut more when it's just been sprayed, but after a little while the smell strongly reminds me of yellow cake batter.. delicious! Hehe, I love very yummy fragrances ^-^ Some coconut, but mostly yellow cake batter, on me at least, which I think is fantastic :) vanille coco- yellow or white cake with coconut shavings
