I received a sample of this from Birchbox and have worn it a couple of times so I feel I should at least say something about it. It's very basic and non-descript, smelling almost exclusively of sandalwood. It smells very similar to another scent, but I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. I can say that it would be a safe office scent provided it's not applied too heavily, but it also won't make an impression on anyone. It's definitely about as vanilla a man's scent as you could hope for, provided that's your bag. I cannot recommend this to anyone. You may as well just go somewhere freshly showered. It's just that 'meh.'

Interesting! Fist of all, the packaging , design and bottle make you question the relatively high price you have to pay to get your hands on this. At start the scent is very strong and extremely masculine, you don't get to enjoy it till about an hour or so from wearing it. It is not an easy scent to wear, I do think it is a bit daring, however it is not a scent to wear every day. I find it so difficult to wear in warmer climates or early in the morning, however it is ideal for an autumn night out. Wouldn't buy another bottle again however not too disappointed nor over the moon with my purchase. It is just Fine!

The woody floral-sweet nuances are in abundance and pulls no punches in this offering. I find this banana tinged fragrance to be quite soothing and sandy. There's some earthy patchouliness underneath the blend but you have to wait about an hour to experience it. Is it a love potion? Eh...I wouldn't say all that but if you want to make a statement with Le Premier Parfum, then you better move swiftly because this stuff runs out of gas in about 4 hours.

A rough and brash contemporary sandalwood dominates, together with some patchouli. Powerful, overwhelming, easily overdone. Needs an extremely light hand in application, or some way to apply just a miniscule amount.
