Tourbière

Extrait de parfum concentration. Amaretto and sambuca at the beginning, with a little bit of lime. Dries down into a slightly boozy, dry vanilla with licorice, and grows more earthy with time. Unique and not too sweet. Something good for autumn and winter or cocktail nights

First blast of sweet almond and ripe fruit....peaches? I did get a boozy note but it came as champagne on my skin not rum. Started bright but quickly settled into creamy earthy almond. Lovely! Tourbiere in English means bog or marsh; I guess they named it after the peat note. Not too much sillage with this one. Unisex and best suited for cold weather. 6+ hours later: Scent is still there going fairly strong but turned a lot more earthy, almost sweetly dirty.

I'm very surprised: it smells like vomit on my skin! I wish I could smell almonds, but no, none of the notes listed, just vomit...

Juicy fruit gum and a strange hot dust at first, like a road trip in the 70s. Then fruitiness and quickly, and there's no way nice to say this, a$$. It smells like unwashed skin. I thought it might be ylang ylang going bad on me, but it must be their ‘peat’ note. It’s dreadful. I scrubbed at this point. I don’t get any of the listed notes at all. It’s more bergamot chewing gum, hot dry dirt from a dessert road and then butt sweat. Awful. Definitely a clash with my chem.
