Love, Unfiltered

Usually, freesia is the kiss of death for me. If I even glance sideways at a freesia flower, my skin goes insane and starts ramping up the scent of it from thin air, throwing it around at concentrations that would make the most avid white flower lover's eyes water. For some reason, though, this one doesn't. I can't even tell it's there. And for that reason alone, I'm pretty sure the perfumer listed in the credits is incorrect: this is clearly black magic produced by vile wizards. I absolutely love all the other notes, and if it lasted just a little longer, this would be in my all-time Yum List. As it is, it fades just a bit too soon, and by the end of the first hour, I'm down to just an ambery musk that's still pleasant enough, but is just a smidge too generic to maintain the initial, much brighter (and freesia-free) character on me. (For the record, I have bizarre skin chemistry. Full-fledged weirdo status. So while I don't doubt the veracity of the other reviews, do give this a go if you're a fellow skin-freak. It's really, really good for us.)

I really like this one, but I can understand why others don’t. It is a little sharp at first, but settles into a lovely fruity amber smell. I wish it lasted a little longer and the spray nozzle does not work well on my bottle.

Sadly this was the only one I didn't like at all. The top and heart notes, for some reason, were sharp and unpleasant to me. I should love all the notes listed, but I don't. This saddens me, because I've long searched for a lovely star jasmine fragrance, the flower of late spring in Southern California. My search continues. edit: Tried this in much cooler weather. The sharpness has vanished, replaced with very soft, subtle notes of amber, white musk and woods, along with a hint of sweetness. Much better, but by no means outstanding. I still can't detect any trace of star jasmine. A super subtle skin scent. I'm changing my "dislike" to a dispassionate "like."

found this bottle at marshall's for $20. yes it was a blind buy but i dont regret it. it reminds me of with love by hilary duff which is pretty much my all time favorite fragrance. it's spicy, woody, slightly fruity. the downside is the amber definitely hits the nose strong, so i get why everyone thinks it's "headachy". if it were toned down, it would've been even better. i'd rate this a 4/5. i wouldn't repurchase though. i'll just spend the $40 on another bottle of 'with love' on ebay or something.

I sampled this at Ulta today and wasn't impressed. This fragrance has no depth. I can't detect any red berries or mandarin. It's just a woody, amber, musky scent, which slightly reminds me of Katy Perry's Indi. I can't really speak on performance because it wasn't interesting enough for me to want to find out. But the packaging is cute. Scent:5/10 Packaging:7/10 Performance: ???

It smells like shampoo. Not much else to say about it. Very amber. A mix between shampoo and juice

I blind bought this one a few months ago when I found it pretty cheap at Winner's. When I tried it on my skin that day it smelled pretty bad. It was very sharp and harsh and disappeard from my skin before it became anything pleasant. I tried it again today to decide if I should declutter it. today it smells like a completely different fragrance. The opening is still very alcohol heavy, but that dissipated pretty quickly. After that I smelled lightly sweet berries and woods. Ther berries faded away in the first hour then it was mostly a slightly sweet woody scent. The bitterness I smelled the first time I sampled it was not there at all this time. The performance wasn't much better than the first time I tried it. I couold only smell it for a couple of hours and I was close to the skin the whole time. This does smell like something I could be going nose blind to though. The base of this fragrance does smell like a molecule fragrance and I can't smell a bunch of them. Others might experience the performance much differently than me. This fragrance might work well for some people looking for a "your skin, but better" fragrance. It has that vibe, so this might work well for someone wanting a budget work fragrance. It is a slightly feminine fragrance with the sweetness and fruitiness in the opening, but the drydown is pretty woody, so I feel it also leans a little unisex. The bottle is terrible. It looks and feels tacky and cheap. The atomizer is pretty bad. It squirts and sputters a small amount of fragrance, so requires a lot of sprays. I hoped to find the bottle silly and fun, but the cheapness takes all the fun out of it.

I find this one inoffensive, but not at all exciting. The opening if sweet berries and tart citrus is lovely, but it settles into a very light woody scent very quickly. Longevity is slightly better than I expected, but sillage is non-existent. Even when freshly sprayed I need my nose right next to my skin to notice it. As takema noted below, the bottle is awful. I enjoy a cutesy gimmick now and then, but the plastic is so cheap, it sputters if the button is pressed in exactly the right way, and it feels like the whole thing might fall apart if picked up wrong. RRP is way overpriced, but I grabbed it for $20AUS on clearance, so I don't regret it. It's one I can overspray before bed without feeling I'm wasting something I want to last.

Upon initial spray, I definitely got nail glue and hairspray like others mentioned. It then settles to a milky coconut scent on my skin. I see that there’s no coconut listed but the “reminds me of section” has coconut dominant perfumes all through it. I get none of the notes listed except tiny hints of amber and woods. This is a basic, milky coconut scent. Pretty (after the harsh opening) but has 0 longevity or sillage.

amber with a hint of sweet. didn't like it at first (bought for the bottle which I love) but it's grown on me a bit. I wouldn't choose it for a night out, but for a day of shopping around it seems fine.

I'm surprised I don't hate this. It's not interesting, but there is also nothing really wrong with it. A good perfume for young girls. Sweet, light, warmish and blurry florals. It's fine. 5/10

Capri Sun scented. It makes me Nostalgic

So, as I was waiting for my shipment of this, I ended up in a department store that had it in stock and I sampled it. Yup, it's definitely the least likeable of the set. Just sweet, nonspecific berry, with not much personality and one off note, like bathroom air freshener. I kind of winced and said, "eww." I do love the look of these bottles, but they are definitely super cheaply made and this is the least pretty of the set (the white somehow comes off cheap). If you just love the aesthetic, like i did, and you need one in your collection: The pink smells great and is very pretty. The blue is even prettier, but just smells mundane (not bad, just common). The gold looks really cool, but again, just smells a little unexciting (i like its scent 2nd best, though). But this white one is going back for sure: didn't dig the smell or the look, so... absolutely nothing to see here!

I think the notes shown here are a figment of the perfumer's imagination. I don't smell any of them, not a single one. Based on these notes, I should love this. All I can smell is that synthetic woody base note that is used in so many perfumes these days. That's it. I agree with the posters who smell the similarity to men's aftershave. I am glad that this smells great on others - this fragrance must be a true chameleon. It's a disappointment for me.

I bought this on sale for 9 euros and to be honest, I don't like it, it smells strongly of cranberries and the smell disappears completely within 1h. I used to layer it with marc jacobs daisy and then it made the smell pretty ok, like a musky smell with some flowers, but overall 4/10

I had high hopes for this perfume, heard lots of good things about the eau de juice line but this... It has a strong cheap smell I can’t put my finger on, I can’t smell this without feeling queasy. Save your money.

Typically I love scents with woods and amber, but this has some kind of strange, sharp, spicy green note that I really don't care for. Someone below mentioned cheap men's aftershave and I have to agree. Pass.

Smells like sharp soapy hair spray. Not good. The scent lasts a long time, would be good if it smelled decent. Reading what the notes are supposed to be makes no sense.

I mistook it for the pure sugar one and im so sad honestly, i have both now and truly this one is too hard for my nose.

This gave my a migraine. Idk what it is. I also was not a fan of the amber in this, smells kinda like plastic

Hideous hairspray. Super strong, but at the same time somewhat basic. Also, you don't know the direction this is going. Is it fruity? Floral? Warm? Chemicals exploding in your face? It really is a mess. With this fragrance, not only do I have quality issues, but also composition issues. The only thing I like about it is the design of the bottle, which is not enough. For me, product this checks all the boxes for a fragrance to "hate". Sorry, but I hope, this one will not stay on the shelves much longer. TL;DR: exploded hairspray bottle

This was a blind buy for $20 at my local Ross. THIS SMELLS LIKE NAIL GLUE! DO NOT BUY! The smell is horrible, Im hoping there was something wrong with the bottle that I have cause I don't see how I haven't read one review that says it smells like nail glue. As soon as I sprayed it smelled EXACTLY LIKE A NAIL SALON!! BEWARE!! I do think the bottle is cute and creative but I was expecting a sweeter scent. So disappointing!

Light Fruity-Florals with Woods & Ambroxan... Initially when I smelt this, I noticed mainly a woody smell with a faint fruitiness overtop, but now it smells like it should and I get the other notes with woods. Opens with a light fruity burst of red-berries & mandarin with sweet, sour, fruity, citrus & fresh tones. Already in the opening, the amber-woods are swelling through, which are largely built from ambroxan, but there is also a note near sandalwood underneath. As it transitions to the heart floral, white-floral & animalic tones emerge from freesia & star-jasmine. The performance improves with dark storage to about average, but could be worn year round as a daily driver. Those not sensitive to ambroxan might like this. Enjoy!

Love Unfiltered, smells similar to Katy Perry's INDI - however, to me, the main difference is INDI smells more masculine and woody like Santal 33. Whereas, Love Unfiltered smells more feminine, creamy, beachy, coconut, suntan lotion-y. So basically, Love Unfiltered and INDI share the same DNA, but INDI leans more unisex and cedary like something you would smell at a wellness spa or cedar sauna - and Love, Unfiltered has a hint more of that beachy, creamy, sunscreen Tom Ford Soleil Blanc vibe.

This was a blind buy for $20 at some Ross in FL. The woody and amber are very overpowering, spray it at a distance if you want to keep the red berry notes. I've found it to be quite long lasting, as I can still smell its woody notes on clothes the next day. Spray at a distance if you favour fruity scents. Lingering wood/red berry notes if you like that. More of a fall / wintery scent imo.

This scent is really interesting but not for me. This juice box bottle line seems like it would be playful and fun but this is very musky, deep, earthy and woody. It smells like a drugstore men's aftershave. Kind of reminds me of one of the Mac fragrances, can't remember which one specifically.

This beautiful perfume reminds me of KATY PERRI'S - INDI as tony5596 pointed out. I totally agree! I think LOVE UNFILTERED is a bit sweeter, more feminine, and less musky than INDI - but they are quite similar.
