Hella blindsided but my reaction, but I actually freaking love this. This was a blind buy after seeing it at Walmart and eyeing the bottle for months. Great marketing on that front- the bottle is strange in a cute way! I hate ugly bottles, it actually deters me away from scents that can potentially be amazing, but I don’t mind seeing this on my dresser! Back to the review though, yes this smells like Cloud. However, it’s less cloying on my skin, and smooths out way better. I smell the saltiness that you find in Cloud and Burberry Her (making it BR540’s very distant cousin, I wouldn’t say dupe). I personally can’t pick up on the individual notes (still new to fragrances so my nose is wildly confused lol), but I can say it it mellows out to a beautiful, sweet and salty, cotton candy scent that isn’t too much. For $25 it’s an amazing Cloud dupe. Cloud on me leans more salty, sweet, and coconut-y, but something about it throws me off. I like this more than Cloud, and may layer it with Burberry Her for more of a beast fragrance. But alone it smells really pleasant and has lasted a solid 8 hours. Wore it to bed, felt super cozy, and it’s still kicking the next morning!

I bought the set of four of these from Ulta when they were on sale last year, and sort of forgot I had them. The white one (Love, unfiltered maybe?) was in rotation for a while, but the other three got lost in my drawer and I just re-found them. And I'm glad I did -- this one is sweet, but grounded by the jasmine, and feels a little musky, even though that's not one of the notes. It's not a huge throw-er; I don't smell it much further than my extended arm, but when it's up close, it sort of radiates a subtle, fruity floral that I just *like*. If it lasted longer (it seems to fade fairly quickly), I'd be much more enamored with it, but for what it is, I like it.

Ok, so I JUST got this today at Burlington, and when you first spray it, I get straight alcohol. So dont sniff right after spraying lol. After letting it sit for a few minutes, it smells like this delicious soft strawberry scent. It smells so delicious. I cant speak on longevity just yet, but I'll update after a week of wear. LET ME PUT YOU ONTO SOMETHING: Pure Sugar Juice layered with Oil Perfumery's Cry Baby by Melanie Martinez. Together these would be a dream team. As soon as I smelled this I knew it would pair so well with OP Cry Baby. And I know it will last much longer layered with an oil.

It really does smell like a mixture of Cloud and Her, it has that very light fresh sweetness Cloud has on me and that light strawberry scent Her has. There is a soft sweet baby powder scent, but it can be a bit hard to tell. I think it’s more similar to Her, kinda wished I got this first so I didn’t buy Her since I like this a lot better, Her on my skin now has more of a synthetic strawberry scent while the strawberry in this is lighter and creamier. Doesn’t have the best longevity but those two other perfumes don’t either, so I’m not mad at it.

I’ll admit I originally bought this because I loved the bottle, I’m a sucker for a funky/unique bottle. Spraying it though, it’s super light and sweet. It’s good for a daytime scent for everyday, and is cheap enough for it to be worth it. The longevity and projection isn’t the best, but for the price you can’t really grumble! This would be a good starter scent for a teenager in my opinion, and a good cheaper alternative to Cloud. Scent: 8/10 Projection: 6/10 Longevity: 6/10 Versatility: 7/10 Price (at full price): 10/10 Overall: 7.4/10

It smells amazing from the bottle, and I was excited to try it but after I sprayed it on my skin it turned into Incredible Things by Taylor Swift. That's not a bad thing but it smells very different from the amazing juice in the bottle. I guess it's just my strange chemistry. I will give it a try fresh after a shower to see if it's better. Anyone else having this experience?

Snagged this at my local TJ Maxx which was a nice surprise since it seems to be out of stock everywhere and now I understand why. This smells like cloud but better, its sweeter and not quite as intense. Im really excited for this as its 20$ and doesn't give me a headache the way Cloud does.

this is my favorite perfume right now, very sweet and often i find that i can smell it on my clothes even after i wash them, however most people have said they have never noticed i wear a perfume unless super close to me. ( i have used it daily for about a year and a half)

This is such a yummy berry scent. I love this for everyday, honestly but its sold out everywhere I've looked :( its kinda like when you slice up strawberries and put sugar on them :)

Smells like Burberry Her and of Baccarat Rouge. I find this the prettiest of the three because of the drydown. It's a modern and elegant scent. Love it!

Fluffy marshmallows. Burnt sugar. Strawberry milkshake. I was looking for something that was a very plain toasted sugar scent. This is fairly good at that, but... I'm still searching for something better. I feel like this line's aesthetic has been a point of division among people, and even brings out some pretty aggressive feelings in people, so let me address that: Personally, I quite like the kitschy packaging and it's what caught my attention in the first place. I do NOT like the Ariana Grande bottles everyone likens these to - - while they share an obviously youthful look, I feel like these look kind of retro urban kitsch and hers just look like stuff for little girls. I am 39 and don't care one single bit that I like a lot of things that may not be considered "age appropriate" for me, but the Ariana ones just feel a bit flippantly tweeny. These juiceboxes strike me as cute for any age, and especially cool for anyone who likes a 70s or 80s throwback look. I listen to Pulp, afterall... ... having said that, I must also admit that my ugly elitist tendencies came out when I heard these fragrances are actually involved with the same people as the Ariana and Justin fragrances. So, I get it if you consider yourself a pretty cool person and these make you wince, but... now that I'm not in high school, I'm kind of ok with liking something because I like it, and saying it's not my fault if someone uncool accidentally makes something I'm ok with 😋 However, this little juicebox is an incredibly cheap, poorly made bottle and the depressor button is practically broken. I still like it sitting on my shelf, though. UPDATE YEARS LATER: ok, wow...now that I've explored tons more fragrances over almost 5 years (exactly a week from now is the 5th anniversary of my original review), i still agree with what I first wrote. The thing is, now I can very confidently point out one really important thing: boy do labels matter to people! but you REALLY don't need to fork out all that extra cash for Baccarat Rouge or Burberry Her. This is the same thing. Seriously. *EXCEPT* (and this is very important) this dupe is a lot less overkill on sillage. It's still just not my thing, but if your only gripe about those other 2 is that they're so highly aggressive, or that they cost a fortune, then this is the perfect way to fix those problems. Just become a fan of kitschy, kawaii packaging and you'll be fine -- maybe read a manga and enjoy your scent without caring so much about branding. Because you really are just choosing bottles and names with these 3 -- and, of course, whether you want to smell up an entire football field or not, for 43 days and 79 showers. Maybe that feels like a great bargain to you. If so, knock yourself out (maybe literally, from sensory overload) 🤷🏻♀️

I initially had my eye on Cloud by Ariana Grande, but it’s currently sold out where I live. I bought Pure Sugar as a blind buy instead because it’s said to be similar and created by the same perfumer. For 20 euros, you can’t go wrong. The initial spray is a burst of alcohol, but for the price, that doesn’t bother me. I don’t smell the perfume on myself (even at the beginning), so I plan on using it at home or for bedtime. This isn’t a dealbreaker, as I prefer a subtle perfume as opposed to a “loud” one. The scent is more noticeable on my clothes. It’s subtle, yet comforting. The more I wear it, the more I enjoy it. I foresee myself going through the 50 ml bottle, but I wouldn’t repurchase as the longevity is too weak.

Sweet, feminine and soooo pretty. Pure sugar is exactly what it says it is. Pure sugar. The sweetest, juiciest strawberries, grapefruit liquor and fine sugar are what I smell on my skin. I definitely see the resemblance to Burberry Her more than cloud. Cloud leaned very lavender and whipped cream on me whereas Pure Sugar is airier, sweeter and fruitier. This would be a love if it actually had any lasting power. I get about 30 minutes, tops. A shame, as it's a lovely, fresh scent that has garnered a few compliments already. Do I love it more than Her? Absolutely not, but Pure Sugar is a great alternative for running errands and after the gym and gives me a break from using up my very expensive bottle of Her haha.

Pleasantly surprised. This is not juvenile at all. I don't get strawberries with my chemistry. But the likeness to Ariana Grande's Cloud perfume is on point. Though I like this better because I don't smell the plasticky note that Ariana Grande's Cloud had on my skin. Definitely search for lower prices for $55 for 50 oz is a big pricey for this type of fragrance quality. Walmart has this for around $25 plus tax which is much more reasonable. Good casual fragrance. Edit: This does have a similar plastic note, but it is much less noticeable compared to Arianda Grande's Cloud. Longevity is fleeting, so you should carry it for touch ups.

I actually really like this, and for reference I disliked cloud quite a bit. It's similar to cloud for sure, but somehow this one doesn't make me feel nauseated and isn't headache inducing for me. So, I definitely agree with the reviews below that this is less plasticky compared to cloud, and maybe the lavender in cloud ruined it for me. It has decent lasting power on my skin (4+ hours) and definitely reminds me of BR540 when I tested it out in store (don't own it), this one is definitely sweeter though.

This is so similar to Ariana Grande's Cloud, but it's more airy and fruity, while Cloud is more synthetic. It's like a summery edt version of Cloud. If you liked the vibe of Cloud but hated the coconut, you might really enjoy this. Doesn't last nearly as long, about 4 hours which is fine. Sillage is honestly pretty good, I can always smell it on my sister. It's so good for the price, goes on sale often so you can get it for really cheap and the bottle is suuuuper cute.

A fruity, sweet and fun perfume. I smell strong citrus, gentle strawberries and earthy notes (I guess that's the pepper?). It smells like Burberry Her and Ariana Grande Cloud. It's effervescent and bright. I think the earthiness makes It appropriate for a wider range of ages. The bottle is just so cute. If you own Burberry Her or Ari Cloud there's no reason to buy this though. I have to talk myself out of buying this just for the cool bottle lol.

So, I can't speak to whether it's a dupe for certain other fragrances. However, I find this quite pleasant. I like sweet perfumes, but haven't had much luck with some of the other ones. Gale Hayman's "Delicious Cotton Candy" didn't work well on me, and I get the "dill pickle" note in Thank U, Next. For what it's worth, I don't get the pickle note that somebody else mentioned in this one. This doesn't smell too heavy or sickly sweet on me either.
