Very masculine. Good scent but not for me.

Vintage bottle, early batches. Very masculine, very woodsy, yet very generic. This is a good option for something to grab when you don't know what to wear. Nobody will wear this, so its a very good option. Very devoted to the period of its release, mid 90's. In my opinion, this is better then other generic woodsy fragrances from that era. This one is sexier and smoother. And still, very cheap on scentprofile sites where it still can be found. For the fragrance similarities presented above, I cannot express myself, I only can tell that this one is not similar with chez bond by Bond no 9 or Ysl Jazz. More similar to Olympios by Missoni. Avarage to strong performance, with one of the most likeble drydown that I know.

I remember this drugstore fragrance really positively! At the time my father used it I did not know it was "oriental fougere" but it won my heart immediately and that is probably why I love and use so many oriental fougere fragrances now. The tobacco note made it somehow special. Route 66 had a really masculine vibe in it, it was nicely blended, with very good longevity. A few sprays in the morning and at the end of the day it was still detectable on the skin. I haven't seen it in stores for a while, though. A nice, inexpensive cologne for men (OK, I admit I was stealing it sometimes from my dad's shelf, but just a few times :))
