Spring Flower 2023

I actually don't know which Spring Flower I've gotten as a travel sample, but this is what I wrote in the 1996 review. Fresh, ozonic, light, sweet, juicy, and happy, with a rich floral blend. A flower shop in a bottle. Perfect. The best Creed I've smelled yet, and I've tried to imagine another perfume I know that smells anywhere close to this. I can't. I also can't imagine some of the other reviewers and I are smelling the same perfume unless Creed has very poor quality control...but I don't think that's it. Anyhow, this is full bottle worthy for me without a doubt.

This is such a stunning fragrance. Floral, mildly fruity. If your not a fan of powdery "old lady scents", this one is for you. I originally purchased this years ago when I read it was one of Audrey Hepburns perfumes. You can spray this in a room, come back hours later and still smell it. The old dark pink bottles had a somewhat sharp note that I didn't love so much. Even though creed hasn't said that they have reformulated since updating the bottle, I find it smells more harmonious and just so much better. Really amazing, quality, staple fragrance.

It's so good that we all have such different perceptions, otherwise even more people were walking around smelling of pop fragrances. For me, this perfume is very feminine and sexy. Despite the color of the bottle, it’s a fragrance with character, not naive and too girly. And no, I do not agree with those who say that it is similar to budget analogues, personally I recognize the sound of Creed house and its character.

I’m surprised by the negative reviews, I think it smells beautiful. Update: makes me feel happy wearing this scent. I’m baffled by the amount of negative reviews because I find it a very inoffensive, beautiful perfume. And my mum loves this one on me 😊 Further update- the smell reminds me of a specific drink and finally figured out which one. Pimms and lemonade

smells like a juicy floral summer bloom, with a dry down of jelly donuts. I’m so head over heels in love with this fragrance. I’d have a large bottle if it wasn’t over 400 dollars tho :(. one day haha. Update!!! I got one from fragrance net for half off!! if you’re just as in love with this fragrance as i am i recommend checking out fragrance net. <3

Finally, a fantasy floral I can get behind! To my nose, the dominant note here is magnolia, which I usually abhor, however the strong animalics rising up from the base dirty up all that synthetic prettiness enough to keep it interesting. This will be a perfect "pretty mood" scent for anyone who doesn't usually go for pretty fragrances.

A pre purchase event was held yesterday in my city and i bought it but i need to wait until first week of April to receive the perfume. As soon as i receive it i will provide a review but for sure will be a very good perfume.

One of the worst reformulations...no similarity at all nor no longevity etc. scent is also crap.

Interesting, as when I tested the original, I didn't like it, but this one seems quite pleasant classic perfumery. Are they truly the same, as the original seemed even masculine to my nose, or is my nose perceiving it differently, this question is beyond me. Spring Flower is a soapy, feminine, fresh and softly powdery floral concoction. The scent is very classy, sophisticated, reminiscent of such types as Quelques Fleurs or Fleurissimo, obviously, vintage inspired. Lovely white florals are complimented by soft aldehydic citruses, the fruitiness is not too much by any means, quite a lot of greenery and some laundry, soapy type of musk. Very spring-appropriate. Effortless, bridal, light, elegant, but also casual, suitable for just every day errands or a signature scent people associate a woman with. By the first glance it might seem as nothing special, but it truly stays with you as that image of timeless beauty. That being said, it is not necessary to buy Creed, I am sure there are less expensive alternatives. If you love perfumes like Pleasures, Feminin Pluriel, Fleurissimo, Quelques Fleurs, this is also one to test. Update: Been testing the sample for a few more times. The last stages of dry down, unfortunately, are very unpleasant, nauseating and synthetic. Smells like some kind of synthetic solar or coconut accord, like Beach Walk by Margiela. Also, although I detect such beautiful floral composition, it is weirdly very fresh throughout, which might work wonders in hot, humid weather to people who prefer this nuance, but can be very headache inducing to those who heavily despise anything artificial. Another update: I recommend Isabey's Gardenia over this.

We are talking about a great classic that received an image "restyling" in 2023. Originally created in the 90s (it was said to be a tribute to Audrey Hepburn), the Spring Flower 2023 version maintains the vibrant soul of the original but comes in a much more modern matte baby pink bottle. This fragrance is the liquid embodiment of spring. It's not a shy perfume; it is an explosion of optimism. The opening is a citrus awakening. Very bright citrus fruits. The grapefruit and lemon are not sour, but they give that "clean air" and crisp sensation typical of an April morning. Creed DNA emerges in the heart. The jasmine and white flowers are creamy, made juicy by peach and apricot. It is not a "sweet" candy fruit, but freshly cut fruit. The base is strengthened by ambergris (the maison's signature) together with clean musk, ensuring that the perfume does not fade away immediately, leaving a sophisticated and slightly woody trail. If perfumes were outfits, Spring Flower would not be a little black dress, but a very light silk floral dress worn with a pair of oversized sunglasses. It is a fragrance that "smiles at life". If you're looking for a warm, spicy, or very seductive/nocturnal scent, this might be too "innocent" for your tastes. But if you love feeling fresh and flawless, it's a masterpiece.

I realized that something was very familiar. It’s like if you took 31 Rue Cambon by Chanel and flattened it a little, and made it a more “spring pink” floral. I don’t get the notes listed really. Smells lovely and classy but I don’t need this considering it would be redundant for me personally. Edit to add: I love ambergris, I don’t find this ambergris to come off as fecal AT ALL. So keep that in mind when determining to order or try decant blindly. It has a Chanel feel to it, which is why I enjoy it. This is the first Creed I’ve ever liked, and I do sense a difference between this and original.

This smells just like that older spring flower but without so much 'animalic' note. The older one has some of that indolic or cat pee smell, probably from the ripe jasmine and ambergris. It is reduced a lot here, makes this one feels more clean and powdery. This one feels softer too. I would say this one has 80% DNA of the older one and more universal, the older one is much more unique. I don't need this as I still have the older one, but do I want it? Yes!! Beautiful feminine scent and pretty bottle too.

I bought a decant of this and the moment I sprayed it on my skin, It reminded me of how it smells the moment I enter a florist shop and the flowers are being wrapped up and ready to be gifted. It lasted 4 hours on my skin, but what concerns me is how the scent amplifies itself indoors compared to outdoors where you get a whiff of it here and there. For the price, I wouldn’t purchase a full bottle however if I was gifted it then I’d gladly use it as a day time scent in the spring and summer!

This is quite nice, powdery, rounded perfume without any sharp notes like most others Creed makes. I get the animalic note but it for me just sits on my skin nicely, and doesn't smell like poo to me like the others. Nice floral spring/summer fragrance. It doesn't last very long though. I wouldn't buy it, not because I didn't like it, but because it's very expensive.

A pleasant, fruity floral for spring. On me, this is predominantly jasmine and peach, with a little bit of citrus and musk. It’s light, airy, fresh and a little soapy. It’s fairly similar to White Flowers, just with the addition of peach (and perhaps a little less green). It’s a nice perfume but not groundbreaking and definitely overpriced.

This is a beautiful spring and summer time scent. This a beautiful floral perfume for a beautiful sunny day. This last at least 6+ hours on my skin. There’s no smell of fecal matter. Love this perfume! 💕💕

Ooh I love this. That tart opening is exactly what I want when the weather is warm. It’s nice and zingy. It feels like a cousin to Acqua Di Gioia that goes fruity instead of minty, brown sugary.

A jarring paradox bottled in pastel pink. Going into this expecting dewy petals, fresh-cut stems, the breath of a garden at dawn? Ohh, you're in for one hell of a ride. What blooms instead is feral, untamed. Beneath the faltering facade of fruit-kissed florals, something so different lurks: an animalic snarl, most musky, most raw, curling through the blooms like a beast, in all its sweat, its temper, dirtiness, prowling a meadow. A clash of innocence and something primal, raw in the filthiest sense.

It gives me the same vibes as maybe Chanel Chance Tundra, light blue? Smells familiar (and no I haven't tried the original spring flowers 😅) Overpriced for what you're getting but it's pretty. Easy reach but not worth it in my opinion. 😇

I have this and used to love it. It smells like roses and honeydew to me. Can’t smell any pee or poo lol. Unfortunately, I bought it before one of the worst times of my life and now it smells like despair to me.

I wish I knew it was reformulated. I was told that it was just a new bottle and I am heartbroken. It does smell nice but it isn't what I thought I was getting.

I sprayed it a couple of hours ago and all I can smell is CK eternity moment. I find it far too expensive for such a basic mix.

To me it smells either like a spring veggie salad or how I could only describe as ‘yassified urine’. Take that as you will.

Smelled a sample of this perfume and there's something that my nose and skin really dislike. I've come to the conclusion that I should stay away from certain "white florals" / "floral fruity" fragrances. Which is shocking because Good Giirl Gone Bad by Kilian (a floral fruity fragrance) smells amazing on me! So I'll be avoiding notes/combinations such as: Green, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Tuberose (not a note in this fragrance). I feel like I would appreciate the "white florals" when I'm more mature in age (p.s. I'm in my early 30's). P.S. I'm having fun with learning about fragrances and body chemistry.

Finally got to sample, really wish I hadn't. This takes the very indolic aspects of jasmine combined with a very heavy-handed ambergris that unfortunately overwhelms any fruit that is present. It does, in fact, lean fecal, which is highly unpleasant at best. And of course, it projects immensely and lingers. I'm going to try to find a bottle of the original (the darker pink bottle) to compare if it's better. I sincerely hope so, because the premise sounds nice for a spring/summer fragrance.

I agree with the others. There is an undeniable ethereal beauty in this one, especially in the opening but then it gets so stinky, like BO, sweat or bad breath. It’s a shame. Dirty white florals together with an indolic jasmine and a fresh green fruity accord that kind of smells like freshly washed hair. Tested on skin and it was rancid. Had to wash off after a while. I really wanted to like this one but it’s just not a match.

I did not like it at all. In the beginning it smells like watery bluebells. As it dries down, it becomes very soapy and generic smelling and at that point it makes me gag. Reminded me of something like Estee Lauder Pleasures. So disappointed with Creed. Glad I only bought a sample from them.

there is something deeply animalic lingering in the background, maybe it’s the ambergris? it just doesn’t belong at all. it ruins the potential freshness these other notes carry, smothering them in pure skank.

I barely get any florals with this one. It smells like soap. Straight soap. I’m a creed fan, but this one seems like something off the TJMax discount shelf. Easy pass.

Smells dated to me. Didn’t get the fecal note everyone is mentioning, but there’s something synthetic in there that gave me an instant headache.

Smells like campground bathrooms with showers. So you get a shampoo smell but mixed with wet dirty floor and toilet. This is terrible.

Very oldschool, heavy, mature and musky floral. An old lipstick in the 90s would smell like this.

WARNING! I hate to say this, but this perfume LITERALLY smells like poo, with a tiny drop of pee. No amount of flowers can hide the fecal undertone. This must be one of the worst perfumes I have ever tried. How people experience perfumes is highly subjective - it is not only a matter of taste, but also that due to genetic factors etc., different noses pick up different scents while staying blind to others. This perfume I would not recommend to anyone planning to enter a public space. Even if their own nose picks up only the floral notes (which are quite nice, btw) most likely at least some of the people around literally smell poo and start checking if they have stepped into a dog pile or - worst case - wonder if you have had an accident. Sitting next to someone wearing this in a theatre, restaurant or work place would be torturous. Please be mindful to your fellow human beings and save this to the privacy of your own home. There are other really nice alternatives with a similar floral profile, but without the nasty poo note. I don't even understand how Creed managed to create this foul a scent from such lovely ingredients.

Certainly polarizing. Heavily indolic. Unmistakably fecal. My best friend gave me her Spring Flower decant. I now understand why. It smells like someone with serious gut troubles had a massive sickly movement in an unventilated bathroom and made an attempt to cover the malodorous aftermath with an aggressive blast of highly discounted floral room spray. It’s one of the kindest things said best friend has done for me lately, as I had a decant of Spring Flower hanging out in an online shopping cart.

I made the dastardly mistake of blind buying this without consulting this site first. I trusted the influencers on Ytube (I should have known better). This is absolutely disgusting. There is a really bad smell in this that is quite repulsive. Now I have a full bottle of expensive crap sitting on my dresser

More like spring cats, but some flowers too. Is that what they meant by "animalic"? If you want to smell like piss and white floral air freshener, this is your product. It's hard to find such disgusting flowers in perfumery, but the creators really tried here))))))

People aren't exaggerating. It's not just a little animalic, it's fecal. Super challenging, if not repulsive. It might work on someone, but try at your own risk.

Received a sample of this in my spring subscription box. For me the smell fits the bill as a "spring" fragrance, no surprise there! It is a pleasant, clean, floral fragrance, nothing offensive about it for me, but nothing special. I don't usually add reviews for perfumes that i don't love but felt compelled to as this one reminded me of something from way back, took me ages to remember what it was.... impulse 02 body spray from the 90's, the one in the green can! This is no bad thing, impulse 02..now that one was special! I am assuming that as this is a new sample it is probably from the 2023 light pink bottle, rather than the bright pink but I can't be sure. It certainly smells more of a light pink than a bright pink anyway.

I have thought about this for a while why this gets so much hate. Maybe it’s the name spring flower, or the pink bottle. A lot of perfumes in pink bottles or perfumes that smell ‘pink’ are super clean, almost squeaky. Another reviewer said there is something interesting that dirties it up or something like this - yes there is something that gives it depth, and keeps it interesting. It’s not cookie cutter but it’s a very feminine scent. It’s not exactly what one would expect when seeing the delicate ultra femme bottle. I also think it is a skin chemistry thing like all perfumes, sometimes to works and sometimes it’s just bad.

Mostly Freesia/Jasmin and Musk. Green Apple is also very present, but it is citrusy and sharp. I see a lot of people voted for Burberry Summer as a similar perfume. They do share Freesia and Green Apple, but Burberry is so much better. It was my favorite perfume in 2007-2008. Its touch was soft, sweet, the notes were in harmony. This fragrance to me is a like not a love. I am going to let it macerate for a few months to let the magic form. In reference this does not smell like poo or pee. It’s very floral. It smells like a floral garden maybe even a tiny bit of dirt which is probably the musk. For those who are saying that it smells like poop maybe it’s the fertilizer they are smelling. Everybody smells perfumes differently.🤣🤣

Only tested this because it's allegedly Lana Del Rey's favourite fragrance. Not for me I don't think. It does have a Lana Del Rey vibe - slightly old Hollywood type fragrance. Very very floral and powdery. As others have said there is a slight unpleasant smell but I do think that will depend on your skin chemistry. Worth testing to see for yourself but definitely not one to blind buy!

Fruity and fresh the grapefruit makes the opening less jarring and more easy to like. The added white flowers give it a more summery feel but they are there to give a more rounded feeling, it’s not too much different from the original. Overall the fragrance is just as light as the original, so it’s not one that stays around. Can’t Chanel do a spring flower dupe and charge $150???

Got this as a sample today with an order I received. This literally smells like Rhubarbe Ecarlate by Hermes, can’t tell me otherwise. I sprayed SF and RE on each hand and it could be the same fragrance. I assume SF will last longer, as RE is only an EDC, but I think I’ll stick with RE because it is half the price for an additional 25ml which will compensate for extra sprays.
