White Amber

Firstly, don't pay the retail price. It's lovely but NOT worth that much! Not even close! It is super nice though. The most 'elegant' or 'graceful' scent I own. The performance isn't subtle (but longevity is very dependent on how your skin loves sandalwood and/or amber) but the scent itself is. No in-your-face notes... Soft and silky is how I describe it. Seems soapy at first but dries down into a sweet woody amber. I can see 'luxury lotion' vibe others get, but this to my nose is much more warm and comforting. Less 'fresh out the shower, clean' and more 'just out the bubble bath, cozy'. Hard to describe but that's it lol. The oil dupe by Grand Parfums smells right on the money to me but with any dupe, the notes are more linear and don't unfold to create the same experience as the original.. but too bad, the original is crazy overpriced.

Probably one of my favorite discoveries of 2021. Creed's White Amber is an interesting, unique, sexy, bright amber. Smells more like fig than amber. I would love to wear this all year round. I do not have a problem with longevity and Creed. When worn in the correct season (65-80F, low humidity), I can smell White Amber for days on my clothing. I cannot compare this with any other amber perfume. It smells more like a salty fig perfume. It is dry, warm, transparent, bright and not sweet. Quite mature and elegant. Works well in FL weather.

This Creed is beautiful. I have only smelt it off of a blotter I sprayed in the store, it's uniquely different from anything I have typically smelled or owned. I will have to do a full wear at some point, but the initial spray is amazing. I love how such simple ingredients can be put together to make something remarkable. One of my new favorites from the Les Royales collection.

Much like the beautiful hand cut Pouchet crystal flacon in which it is housed, 'White Amber' demonstrates shimmering facets throughout. The composition begins with its eponymous amber note, which is headstrong and enshrouds the composition in a warm glow. This amber is confident yet comforting, caressing its wearer in a passionate embrace. It is joined by a honeyed vanilla and soft 'fruity accord'. Faint nuances of peach and coconut are noticeable, seemingly to echo the central amber's richness. A white floral accord joins the opening amber, along with sandalwood and benzoin in the mid-range and base of 'White Amber'. Jasmine absolute's heady scent dominates, while hints of gardenia and tuberose are detectable. The creamy characteristics of sandalwood's rounded scent profile blend perfectly with the indolic qualities of the included white florals, further enhancing their intoxicating effects. Benzoin in the base contributes additional vanillic facets, mirroring the opening accord. Together with the sandalwood, it renders a softened focus to the dry down. The composition becomes blurred and slightly powdery. Upon drying down, 'White Amber' becomes absolutely stunning on the skin. The opening can be somewhat harsh and overwhelming, as the strong white florals dominate and slightly overpower. As the fragrance dries and some of the floral notes have had a chance to scintillate away, the golden amber is then able to take center stage. The composition reminded me of the quality of light produced by a setting sun, casting everything in its path in a warm albeit sometimes hazy hue. As an "eau de parfum", 'White Amber' has adequate sillage and projection while its longevity is superb. Due to the composition's heavy reliance upon florals, it leans definitely feminine. Again, upon drying down the floral notes do become less prominent, and at this point in its olfactory arch it could be considered unisex. I envision 'White Amber' worn in the warmer climates of spring and summer, as the heat should lift this fragrance off the skin to great effect. As a new addition to the stable of highly luxurious perfumes in CREED's "Les Royales Exclusives" collection, 'White Amber' certainly lives up to the high expectations of the brand while proving itself worthy of a spot amongst its predecessors. I’m a person who is all about the subtle details. Love in White, Love in White for Summer and White Amber all smell different to me. I’ll also compare it to Pure White Cologne. Love in White is very creamy. The rice and ambergris notes are very prominent. Think of thick and hydrating (not oily) unscented body lotion/cream. Love in White for Summer is sweeter and smells wet and lotion like with the rice, ambergris and apple. This smells like a facial lotion. White Amber tops both of the Love in whites in regards of being like an unscented inert lotion. This has the softest and creamiest sandalwood I’ve ever experienced. This fragrance is also lighter than both of the Love in Whites. The fruity notes and Amber blend well with the sandalwood. No I don’t smell the typical creed ambergris in this. This could easily be called White Sandalwood. Pure White Cologne smells like pale citruses and is vegetal. There are no sharp notes and it smells very wet. The rice, ambergris and powdery notes are overshadowed by the citrus and greens even in the dry down, Overall, White Amber smells really nice. It quickly drys down to smelling like an actual lotion very similar to Chanel Paris Venice. They don’t smell the same, but they both smell like lotion that has been on your skin for awhile. If you are looking for a soft and understated fragrance that reminds you of skincare and good hygiene, this is a really nice option. It has an elegant quality and smells like it leans to the mature feminine side as it dries down. It really is unisex. From a distance I can easily imagine a man wearing this. Smelling up close, it smells like it could lean feminine. To be honest, it barely smells like a perfume. For the softness and cost, I’m not sure that it is worth the price full retail. This is fbw only if this is the type of fragrance you are looking for. If you desire more character and strength, please look elsewhere. It’s a love for me.

I was excited to experience the exclusive Creed range when I saw it at Saks Fifth Avenue (as I have yet to be moved by anything Creed has done thus far). White Amber was my favourite and I sprayed it twice against my neck. It’s a light, white indolic floral amber that’s buzzing with pollen on a resinous base. The lady told me it was $610 (£367) which didn’t phase me as that’s about equal to an entry level Roja Dove or any worthwhile and long lasting higher end extrait parfum. BUT this didn’t last more than 2 hours! The first 5 minutes it was heavenly (albeit with no sillage) but then takes a disappointing turn and smells like an averagely feminine floral scent. That gold chain around the bottle cap comes off too easily too. As usual with Creed, I’m not impressed. An unstable scent with poor longevity and an unjustifiably high price.

To me, this is is similar to Tom Ford’s Soliel Blanc with it’s white floral sort of sunscreen vibe. This, however, smells much more high-quality than the TF. It also has reminds me a lot of TF’s Velvet Gardenia, the re-released version; this is more unisex than that one; though. It’s unisex that leans on the feminine side and also the cheapest of this series for Creed. I got a full bottle new in box for quite cheap considering its retail cost. Worth that price, but not retail. I’m quite a fan of it, and it’s a wonderful Summer scent—especially in very hot weather. Apply it in cold weather to be whisked away to warm-weather paradise.

smells exactly like creed love in white. if u want to smell fresh out of the shower or like a clean baby, soap, deodorant, this is for you. light & airy. summer spring scent in my opinion

Light, clean and not intrusive jasmine paired with subtle tones of amber, fruits. For some reason it smells cold and sterile. Some undertone reminds of a cleaning spray. I am not impressed by it.

On me, this one is simultaneously harsh and very nothingy--it's soapy, and not even nice soap at that. It smells exactly like a bar of palmolive. Supermarket toiletries and cleaning solutions. The jasmine smells more like something from a laundry soap than a $$$ fragrance. Inoffensive, but confounding. Might make more sense in summer.

QUIET LUXURY FLORAL: CHECK CORRECT NOTES HERE Before writing an in depth review I want to say something about this underrated scent. White Amber is extremely sophisticated and the name is a bit misleading. The scent feels extremely simple at first, but after a few uses, many different nuances start to emerge. The delicate and elegant fruity opening quickly blends into a bouquet of flowers and a warm woody and delicate amber base. The scent is aristocratic, subtly seductive and charming. It stays close, but you can notice the scent when talking to the wearer. A scent doesn't have to shout to be appreciated. Sometimes less is more, quiet luxury is a good way to describe this scent. NOTE: The notes of White Amber are incorrect here and in Parfumo. When I was wearing the fragrance, I couldn't connect it to the published notes and wanted to check what Creed's website said about the notes and after that I could believe what I smelled. I also tried to correct the notes, but they were apparently not accepted because not all the notes are stated in the pyramid and I added the notes in the text into the pyramid. I acquired decants for about 12 Creed fragrances over the past year and I can say only 2 are very original and might be worth the high price tag, these are White Amber and Spice & Wood, There are some which are quite original but I personally don’t like the scent enough to pay the high price tag like Tabarome, Erolfa or Royal Oud - there are two or three others which are very good, of course the one and only Aventus, Green Irish Tweed and Santal , though for these there are numerous of decent alternatives/copies at a much lower price than what creed charges, maybe some snobs will not agree but ok if they wish to pay the Creed premium for that 3% more special and the look of the Creed bottle , I will not argue with them – I love White Amber, I, in general, love amber based fragrances but most of them are more suitable to wear during colder temperatures, this White Amber suits as well in high temperatures – it’s super fresh, just a little flowery and up to now I haven’t been able to find a decent cheaper copy of it, for me this is a truly unisex fragrance, as well suitable for confident men as women

I just smelled this on someone and my order is in..... follow up........ just received and the bottle is beautiful as with all the other royal exclusives. please be aware that this does lean heavily on the feminine side. What a brilliant fragrance from start to finish. First day application from my actual bottle and not the sample and has garnished two compliments thus far I certainly can't give a full detailed description yet. i do get clean, sweet, fresh intoxicatingly natural every whiff Has a creed Pure white vibe with white floral and fruits and less citrus... Very very high quality right from the initial blast... Not for everyone but than again i don't want to smell like everyone. Be Well

White Amber is a floral/ Oriental. You have the quality jasmine as the dominant note, and some soft resins, benzoin and Amber, with sandalwood in the base. The resins and jasmine make a fragrance accord; so you don't have a bright and airy jasmine next to the woody resins, but you have a warm, darker jasmine accord. I haven't picked up the fruity notes, they are just a slight nuance. Yeah, overall it's nice, but nothing unique or great about it. I think if you looked around you could find a high quality fragrance that's very similar that would be a better value. Rating: 8/10 Happy Easter. John 3:16

Jasmine and neroli. in the base it becomes less floral and much warmer (probably amber?). In the name, the word “amber” creates the illusion (for me personally) that the scent should be much deeper, more languid, and sillage. But here are flowers. Jasmine leads the way at all stages of aroma development. Jasmine also adds some unobtrusive, subtle floral-fruity sweetness. If they hadn’t written “ambergris” in the title, I wouldn’t have found it. For lovers of jasmine and white floral scents. Very delicate fragile fragrance.

This is a more unisex and a little more upscale version of Erolfa to my nose.Amber here is really the ambergris. Short-lived citrus notes yield to jasmine and ambergris. Everything else is secondary IMO. So, in a nutshell, it is very marine-like feel scent. If Erolfa is for the yacht owner, White Amber is for the guy who owns the yacht club :) This is my best explanation of this scent. Performance is typical for the Exclusives line: very subtle and inoffensive...

This is an ultra clean jasmine with benzoin and amber. Soapy and transparent. I think it is probably too simple and linear for the price. Yes it's overpriced. But at the same time this is soo clean and pretty. It would make a great signature scent. That soapy base is a little bit annoying though. I am on the fence. I would love to have a full bottle of this but it is just soo overpriced...A sample is enough for now...but anyway, it 's going to my wish list.

Oh my word! I smelled this several months ago, I purchased it hoping to add it to my small summer collection which I am trying to grow. This is a simple yet elegant perfume, pleasing to the nose. Can be worn almost anywhere one chooses to wear it to. This is stunning on my skin, the jasmine and vanilla accord made me feel like I want to lay in my bed under the covers and go to sleep.

Grapefruit, bitter lemon peel, sweet, soapy notes and dry jasmine. Clean, fresh (bordering dish detergent) profile but so intense up close that I can physically feel a headache building up. Progressively gets better with a musky, vanilla-like sweetness balancing the grapefruit out nicely but also providing a slightly dirty, woody backbone that I'm not sure what I feel about.

Opens with a blast of authentic smelling jasmine and is soon undergirded with a soft sandalwood. I don’t detect much dried fruits or a heavy amber in this. It is a very well-balanced fragrance that is quite simple and linear. For me personally, not worth the price tag and leans more feminine. ⭐⭐⭐1/2 out of 5.

currently sells for 134 euros at skins cosmetics store here in NL. Even at this rate not worth it. Quality is just not there. Whatever jasmine they use is really low grade and diluted to non-existing state. Easy pass as majority of their offerings.

Very tame jasmine with a creamy sandalwood and slightly animalic amber base. Smells a big old-school. Definetly for women. I was expecting something different with the name “White amber” - something musky/ambery and clean, not floral.

Smells harsh and chemical in the same way Erolfa smells harsh. I think they used the same Jasmine note in both of them. Please test before you buy. Longevity average, sillage is low .

I wasn't impressed at all by this one; it's like they watered down Pierre Balmain Ambre Gris and added some generic Creed juice.. Sure it's nice, but top-of-the-line? Meh.

so much benzyl salicylate and sandalwood make it smells like sunscreen... just like Tubereuse Indiana of Creed is. in this price? hahaha. absurd.
