Citrus and Mint Leaf

This is the review for the shower gel: I decided to write this review in case it helps somebody. This shower gel EXCEEDED my expectations greatly! The best part is that it was a random purchase as well. I threw this one in with another shower gel that I was buying in an online store. And Cremo was pricy (15 eur but I got it for 12 with a discount), since it's an imported product from the States. But I watched many reviews on it and really wanted to try. How it smells and feels? Imagine it's a spring morning. You just finished your morning run in a forest. And now you're walking on a path lit by the sun. You can smell coniferous trees, moss, and green vegetation that is just starting to awake. Suddenly, you stumble upon a clear forest lake. You decide to jump in to cool off. The water is chilly and refreshing. Now you feel very clean, refreshed and energized. All the scents of the pine forest mix into a wonderful symphony. How it performs? The lather is very rich and the scent lingers all the way through your shower session and it sticks to your body. It feels luxurious. Personally I'm very picky with my body washes and I hate the feeling of products that are difficult to rinse off. I don't want to feel anything on my skin after I shower, yet I don't want it to be super dry either. This body wash does it perfectly! It leaves your skin clean, moisturized and doesn't leave any residue! And you don't need a lot for the scent to stick and be noticable. Conclusion. This is an amazing body wash! It is a perfect balance between being natural and perfumed. And trust me, I tried a lot of different products. The ones that claim to be natural smell like grass or vegetation - it's boring and gets old pretty fast. On the other hand, typical "men's" body washes smell very synthetic and use some super strong fragrances. For me this is probably my new favourite shower gel. Now I want to get the fragrance as well. I feel like it would definitely amplify your scent bubble and would make it last longer. Wow, I've never written such a long review for anything at all. It just shows how pleasantly surprised I was by this purchase!

actually really nice for the price. the first two minutes are very alcoholic which makes sense because this is a 20 dollar fragrance, but after that it becomes a clean, bitter sweet citron with a nice sum of mint, aswell as some moss. i find that this moss is a bit "weird" smelling. overall great value, good for spring, summer, and august. as Steve907 mentions, i aswell get an anisey/black licorecy note at the 15 minute mark, but its not overwhelming, rather i think that it is just a result of the bitter sweetness of the citron. definitely would recommend to a friend. also, light sillage for 2 hours, then it becomes a skin scent for another 4-5 hours. nice performance for $20! honestly, a better version of dior homme colognes imho.

I’ve had my fair share of cheap fresh sents. The go to in that category by many is (nautical voyage.) However this is 1000x better in my opinion if you need a cheap out of the shower gym sent for $20. This fragrance is extremely simple in nature yet it’s kind of unique. I’ve gotten multiple compliments when wearing this and for $20 it’s a fantastic grab and go gym sent or maybe a quick going out to get groceries sent were u don’t need to think about it. I’d also like to add it has the same “vibe” at Torino 21 by Xerjoff. Not saying it’s the same at all but it’s a non synthetic smelling herb sent.

I have been wearing this fragrance for a few years now and it's a decent go to fragrance that I use when I run errands on the weekends and especially when I go to work. I live in California so our weather is pretty nice all year long for the most part. I've layered this fragrance with Dior Sauvage and it's amazing to me, but don't get me wrong cremo is decent on its own! And I get an easy 6 to 8 hours of longevity on my skin. The price point is unbelievable for what your getting and I strongly recommend this for a everyday freshy fragrance .

Very refreshing scent, you can get the mint and citrus. Unlike Jimmy Choo or Dior Cologne.....this one lasts!!

§ Superbly sparkling, clean, fresh opening, drying down to pleasant, laid-back wood. (I'm having trouble keeping my nose away from the nozzle; the early goodness is that compelling.) Stays brighter, longer, than most other fragrances I've experienced: the citrus hangs in there, albeit a subtle skin scent, altogether. One of the best values, to date, in my modest collection. Longevity: greater than it would seem—say, over seven hours—but this is as an extremely subtle skin scent. Sillage: very minimal. A heavy hand here is not a vice. Could be thought of as an aftershave component—something subtle and kind of fleeting—rather than, "Hey, here's my 11-hour powerhouse." Fine fragrance; a keeper. Try along with the nice Citrus and Mint Leaf shampoo/conditioner, which I sometimes use additionally as a body wash and a shaving soap. It's tingly.

To me this smells like Burberry Weekend, but on my skin, this actually last unlike Weekend which disappears within minutes. This has a very bright alcoholic opening immediately after spraying like all of the Cremo colognes I've tried, so don't think that's the smell. The actual opening is very citrusy until the mint is able to fight it's way forth. Then something very special happens to this cologne for me. I haven't seen anyone else mention it yet, but I get a black licorice note and it's gorgeous. For the price I'm really impressed by this fragrance. It does better in warmer weather, but I've worn it all year round.

I think this fragrance is really just OK. I mean for 20 bucks it Is actually pretty good but I would not get it over any designer fragrances. And by the way, Cremo citrus and mint leaf and Cremo iced citron and driftwood are literally the same juice in a different bottle. Do NOT get both. Get one or the other. I tested 20 people about which one Is better and all 20 stayed the smelt the exact same.

A solid cheap freshy from Cremo. I agree with the other reviewers that this smells similar to Cremo's other fragrance "Iced Citron & Driftwood", and that came first so not sure why they released this as an EDT. It's a bit redundant. Still, for what it is, you can't complain. A basic citrusy cedar fragrance with moderate performance for about 20 bucks. The easiest of "dumb reaches".

Decent little cheapie for throwing on to walk the dogs or mooch about the house for an hour or two. That’s about the extent of the longevity. For the price, it’s not a bad wear. Good on a hot or humid day. You’ll need a good 10-15 sprays to get some projection and longevity. I ripped through a bottle in under 4 weeks.

This is ok, but I had higher hopes for it. My husband finally tested it tonight. It's a really pleasant, sweet citrus. Indistinct, but more on the orangey side. It's uplifiting, and would work best on hot days (no surprises there). The mint is ok, but quite frankly, I've smelled better mints from natural products at the Farmers' Market. I've also screwed around and made more interesting blends with merely essential oils. There's a slight woody undertone that gives this just a little more body than it would have otherwise, but not enough IMO. It smells thin, unfinished, and lacks depth. It's fine, it smells nice on him, but there's a market saturated with fresh cheapies that have more character. This is slightly more masculine, but not by much. It's kind of an "everybody" scent (I believe anything can be, but I'm generalizing for the sake of review).

#82 in my "Tour de Fragrance" of 250 scents in 250 days, and another of the "30 under $30" that's a great scent at a bargain price. It's a bit reminiscent of Jimmy Choo Ice, also a very citrus freshie, but not as much toward the lemonade side as Jimmy Choo thanks to the mint, and less than half the price. You can't go wrong with this as a blind buy. This will probably be my go-to throughout the Summer.

I had tried a couple of other Cremo fragrances (namely Blue Cedar and Cypress which I LOVE), so when I saw this one at TJ Maxx, I figured I'd give it a shot. Well, the reviews on this one make it seem a lot better than it was. At first it definitely reminds me of bug spray. I'm not a fan of the opening at all, but within 10 minutes, the mint leaf starts to become more prominent which makes it more pleasant overall. Once it's dried down, the citron still reminds me of bug spray, but the wafts of mint leaf that I get are rather pleasant. I put on tons of sprays with this one and after a couple of hours, you can't smell it anymore. I think it's important to note that this is the worst performing Cremo frag I've had, the rest are great for the price. All in all, I'll probably give this one away...

For the price you should just buy a different fragrance, like 9pm for about 9 more dollars. This smells cheap and to me is just offensive. I get no mint notes, only this cheap citrus smell. Do not recommend.

The more I smelled this the more I hate it, it smells ok or at least tolerable for the first 2 minutes with initial burst but very quickly just turns into old school dads barber shop aftershave, its reeks of stuff that was made many decades ago. In general CREMO fragrances feel more like aftershaves at best that anything else, just lacks the basics you would expect in a fragrance, none of them are worth investment even at lower price point. I do however enjoy CREMO body washes.

Opening is a pretty strong shot of lemon with maybe a little bit of mossy weirdness. I personally am not huge on this opening (I do not enjoy lemony scents much, so if you do you might enjoy it more). Fortunately, it isn’t as “lemon candy-like” as other fragrances at this price point. That being said, the dry down is pleasant. I think they did a good job integrating the cedar and mint notes quite organically in its development. I would prefer this quite a bit more if it were just that mint, moss, and cedar, sans citron. A big note I get that others haven’t mentioned is that it is kind of suntanny. It smells like freshly applied suntan to my nose at times. I think the production quality is impressive, like most Cremo products, and I’m sure someone who enjoys lemon/citron scents would like this.

Lang2006 is right... If you have Citrus & Mint Leaf, no real need for Iced Citron & Driftwood and vice versa - Unless you are collecting them. As well as the $20 price tag... The Iced Citron & Driftwood does have slightly woody dry-down(as you could probably tell from the name), as opposed to Citrus & Mint Leaf... But nothing that creates any major differences. For the price - Not many come with the quality and performance that Cremo does. The Banana Republic Icon Line is probably the only other line of fragrances that are noticeably higher quality for the $20 price tag. But even those aren't technically "full retail" when being bought at a TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc. Obviously some other designers that can compete, but considering bottle size and retail price... Cremo is hard to beat.

This smells identical to Cremo Iced Citron and Driftwood. They both smell like iced lemonade. No need to have both.
