Wicked Mistress

Wicked Mistress is what I imagine Rose Jam from Lush might have grown into after years spent in velvet rooms, tangled in intrigue and velvet shadows. It’s a grown-up gourmand: bold, lush, and utterly seductive. The strawberry and lychee notes immediately bloom on the skin, but instead of leaning into syrupy sweetness, they carry a crystalline sharpness, almost like a lemon drop lolly kissed with floral nectar. This brightness is grounded by the patchouli, which here feels resinous and almost pine-like, giving the perfume both structure and unexpected depth. Despite its name, Wicked Mistress isn’t loud or brash, it’s confident. The sillage is poised: those within a meter will absolutely notice you, and they will ask what you’re wearing. But it doesn’t overwhelm a room; it lingers like a knowing glance. This is a perfume for those who want to be remembered. Sensual, opulent, and complex, Wicked Mistress is a seductive statement wrapped in rose and spice, a luscious, grown-up gourmand that turns heads and leaves a trail of intrigue. I hope it never gets discontinued, like Fall, Criminal Elements has opened my eyes to what perfume can be, complex & passion inducing like a great whiskey or wine.

I complimented a lady wearing this & knew I had to get my hands on a sample. Wicked Mistress is a strong, sweet dose of candied strawberries draped in rose petals, with a burst of lychee that eventuates into a resinous sweet patchouli base. The florals in here definitely give off a Turkish delight vibe, partially reminding me of Oud Satin Mood by MFK if you only took the rose from it. Definitely on the more mature end, I struggle to picture a young individual wearing this. Peak creativity whilst still harboring mass appeal and, although I've not smelt all of them, probably one of if not the best from the brand, surely. Not to mention, the liquid in here is absolutely beast mode performance-wise. I sprayed once on my hand last night prior to sleeping, woke up & my whole room smelt of it and found it discernible eight hours later on the back of my hand. Deserves way more attention. ~ A high-end, velvet-draped salon at twilight, sugared fruit bowls and rosewater confections laid out on marble tables. Candlelight flickering and casting shadows, sweet innocence entwined with an underbelly of sensual intrigue.

Agree with BunnyThump This is Rose Jam all grown up, with a refined, romantic sensuality, and playful sexiness. Less "wicked", more the carefree lover who knows what she likes, and what you like too. You're out to dinner, the main meal is over, and she gives you *that* look when the waiter asks if you want dessert.

wicked mistress is sweet and fruity. It's also a little sexy. It has a sticky Sweetness. The strawberry and lychee gives it an innocence whilst the rose and patchouli lend an alluring sexyness that makes you want to keep sniffing it.

This is a beautiful fragrance. I have over 300 perfumes & this takes my breath away. I love the way the notes blend together & the strawberry is gorgeous. Smells great on my skin & projects for hours.

Sweet and complex with an undercurrent of darkness. Wild longevity and sillage! Definitely traditionally female leaning but a confident man can easily pull this one off. Incredible stuff.

Absolutely delicious. Reminds me of Turkish delight, but with a smooth, creamy quality too. Also reminds me of strawberries and cream- not in a cheap way, in a beautiful way- nothing sharp or synthetic anywhere. It’s so good. To clarify, doesn’t smell gourmand in a literal way- it’s fun, playful and sexy. Such a good scent. Can see the comparison to rose jam- but this is so much more delicious smelling, and quite different in that it’s got a lot more going on and with more nuance. I own rose jam and many other frags and I’ve never smelt anything like this. GORG

This is indeed a richer, much more complex version of Lush Rose Jam. On my skin the lychee and rose combo is much stronger than the strawberry. The strawberry is definitely present and much more realistic than I would expect it to be. The whole thing is sweet but multifaceted and a joy to sniff, nothing chemical or screechy here. Decidedly feminine for me.

One of the most disgusting things I’ve ever smelled in my life. Strawberry and lychee where? The perfumes of this house are NOT for blind buys!
