Boa Madre

Based on the reviews below, I was not expecting to enjoy this nearly as much as I have. I applied it on my shirt before sleep, and it was going strong a full 15 hours later. I haven’t tried it on skin with such longevity, but two sprays and 15 hours on clothes - who cares?! I don’t really smell any of the notes listed, particularly. Maybe/probably the banana leaf? Definitely something green. I could even stretch and say the lightest of leathers. There’s a tiny bit of something sweet but not so much floral. I don’t clock tuberose or any florals at all really. But it definitely has sucked me in and made me very curious and very interested. I didn’t think it was going to be a winner, but I think I could go through a sample or two to determine if this is the one for me. It’s really got something going for it.

It's a heavy, floral opening. Leathery, leafy, and rosy from pink pepper. A bit spicy, yet warm and fresh. The sweetness of indolic, deep florals then dominates, but they are always overshadowed by smoky leather. Then, bitter, smoky oud, and animalics. The drydown is an earthy, floral animal-wood hybrid. Perfectly balanced. What remains on the blotter the next day is inky moss, tarry wood, strong leather, and warm animalic notes. The juxtaposition of the soft sweetness of florals and animalic leather. Not too sharp or too strong in either case. Very mild and not intrusive, almost too delicate. I love it!

Very strong start with the most amazing dry down. A great option for folks that love leather fragrances with a twist. All seasons and for the very bold. Shukran Habibi!

Profumo spettacolare, multisfaccettato e mai banale. Ti avvolge con note di tuberosa calde ma al contempo fresche, non annoia mai.

Juicy bright green opening full of iris, aloe vera, jasmine, maybe a little banana leaf. Soft light leather and mossy base soon appear in the background. Castoreum and civet almost imperceptible, no animalic wilderness at first. I perceive something like the cigarette smoke of the previous day on jacket you had in bar much more. A greenish-gray fragrance full of rich colors that leaves a slightly cool, strong impression. More on feminine side. Continues after 4th hour to strongly dusty silver metallic with more pronounced animallic tones and musk, sensual not in a dark way but this cyber note.

It’s my third fragrance from the house It is just as magnificent as the rest I’m talking about the opening and the mid It smells exactly like most of the rest of the scents I tried but the issue is to my nose it stayed white floral and a little greenness I didn’t get any leather or animalics It is wonderful but it’s not distinct enough to buy with the other offerings from the house

Probably not my Cup of tea, but It's very Rich, Deep and well done... White flowers, leather... Awesome longevity and perfectly unisex. I won't buy It but I think I like It in a certain way

a very particular fragrance, it shares, at least to my nose, the opening with its heavenly sister Musa, so we find a pretty fresh green floral mix (the part I like most about this fragrance as well as in Musa) only after a while time the strong leathery / animalic notes intervene which I, alas, do not love, but which still give a very deep, strong and decisive character to this fragrance. Definitely an interesting scent for leather / floral / animal lovers. Unfortunately, I would not take it for my personal taste.

I am a little disappointed. it is a much less green tuberose than the musa paradisiaca masterpiece. too musky and sweetish. sandalwood and oud do nothing but sweeten and cover the tuberose together with iris. the note of costus and ylang ylang is noteworthy. super performance but for me it's a no. sickening 3/10 too sweet, bordering on nauseating. a perfume that I define as clearly gourmand and not very floral. excessively high price. adjumi's friends will forgive me but i am sincere.

One spray, and Boa chewed me up, spit me out, and battled me with a barrage of notes for the air I breath. If forced, I can say that Tuberose and a woody-patchouli fight for attention. Beyond that, it's impossible to ascertain. Nothing gentle, subtle, or nuanced about this bottle. The day following my spray, I could still smell Boa, despite washing my skin with detergent and abrasives. If you are looking for a beautiful leather, try Anna Zworkina's Second Skin (or any number of other options). Boa and Second Skin live in separate universes. Boa offers insane silage and longevity, if that's all that you are looking for.

Day 1 - first spray: tuberose and banan leafs stand out.. not leathery as much as I expected. animalic musk is elegant with a sexy vibe ( reminds me of Afrika olifant). the opening is a bit feminine, but still very wearable. will come back for an update on the dry down and performance. Update: this thing is a beast. it outlasted oud maracuja by A LOT

This to me smells like savory white flowers. Every time I smell the sillage it smells like white flowers mix with something good cooking in the kitchen. I’m not kidding. Not a bad combo actually but also too white floral for me. 6.8/10

The usual...Milky tuberose I don't have anything else to say about this fragrance rather than it's the one for those who enjoys milky tuberose.. and the bottle looks quite beautiful.

Is it possible to say this is the best perfume ever ( smokiness elegance )
