Musa Paradisiaca

Probably the best tuberose of mine heard along with nuit de bakelite. with nuit de bakelite it shares some green notes. this is a green-sweet tuberose in the best sense that can be given to the term sweet. it is not an old style woman's tuberose sweetness but it is definitely a modern unisex tuberose. where there is sweetness there is immediately a green counterpart, almost bitter. celery is there but not as strong as the celery that we break to eat it, but it still gives a good idea. a celery less green and fresh than the real one. the banana leaf mon I could never really smell it but I think it is that beautiful fresh note that allows this masterpiece to be used even in warmer climates. ginger has not reached me. the narcissus with its intoxicating and opulent floral animalic smell with green undertones and a hint of and tobacco is fantastic. the rich ylang ylang with its rich, also opulent and banana odor, almost dirty and sour is gorgeous. 'is without a doubt but without a urinary or annoying connotation and in any case for me it is in the background. let's say that it makes the smell of the flowers increase. It gives a feeling of warmth and radiance to the flowers. the rest of the notes are a nice side dish ... but in fact they make a wonderful side dish. in fact, vanilla and cocoa do not make it a gourmand tuberose. they sweeten it just a little, as does the tonka bean. the ambergris gives a little warmth and the sandalwood a slight creaminess. so what to say. masterpiece? it comes very close to perfection. I would have liked it slightly greener. but it is my opinion. it's a nice trip and I hope christian can give us as many. final grade 9/10 incredible performance. a must have. applause at the open stage.

I have searched my whole life for this smell.The balance of ylang ylang and tuberose leads to a new exotic floral that I do not recognize. Yes, it recognizably tuberose but it lacks that soap irritation that I find in so many tuberose scents. It is brightened by the green notes and softened with the incredibly blended base. I cannot stop smelling this and that's a good thing because it lasts for 15+ hours on me. The civet, sandalwood, vanilla, cocoa and tonka base is so well blended that it's hard to detect each note. What comes across is both dry, warm, embracing and modern.

on first spray i get a humid greenness from banana leaf along with some cacao. then i get some bitter celery along with tuberose and ylang ylang. the ginger comes through and adds a spiciness, but mostly this is a hot green humid floral. i get maybe a slight hint of sandalwood/vanilla but not much. remains primarily green on my skin, along with cacao. can't wait to try this one in the heat.

Ok that’s enough I wish I didn’t try most of their fragrances They are obviously cash grabs and wonderful bottles to put on your dresser Out of all of their scents they have at least 3 that are identical maybe more It gets more devastating as you try the rest as if you are trying the same fragrance in the same bottle but with a different name That’s very disappointing to an extent most of the scents from the house have no significant differences Yes a couple are different enough to enjoy but the majority are copied and pasted Please don’t buy these fragrances before trying them out of all of them maybe 3 are worth mentioning

Summary: all this perfumes start so good. They make you hope that you are finally faced with something promising. But the captivating opening then gives way to a less brilliant heart, while the bottom is absolutely flat. They are, in my opinion, an attempt to do something different and unusual, but confusing and not very effective. some, then, resemble each other.

Gorgeous and atmospheric opening within 15 minutes gives way to a harsh synthetic fixative smell through which I can hardly detect much else. Sad! I see some others mention ‘detergent’... sensitivity to whatever molecule this is must vary from person to person. To me, unfortunately, it smells cheap, intolerable. Should definitely be sampled before purchase.

At first I have thought, no way this is near any nieche perfumery. First hour in mildly humid weather give or take 15-20 degree Celsius outside I got lactonic aloe and green grass scented body milk. Flat and thousand times over basic drugstore. Then it gets dry, powdery and scratchy, suffocating like overly orris..that might be celery but its whole green spell is dimnished and drowned in sweat....sweaty musk to be precise - think that might be the ambergris that doesnt go well with my skin. On me it is Im afraid totally unusable (acid sweat). Sorry. Some positives nonetheless - monstrous projection even after 10 hours so longevity A++ if it suits you it can justify its hefty price of 240Eur FB (mind its whole 100ml so...) Beware and test first.

Today I would like to talk to you about what I consider the most beautiful addition to my collection of all of 2023, an extremely natural and carnal floral perfume that has me in love. This collection by Cristian Cavagna is an ode to the tuberose portrayed in different facets. In this case, Musa Paradisiaca, a name that also corresponds to the scientific name of the banana tree, has a greenish opening through which we can already glimpse the paradise of tuberose and ylang ylang that awaits us later. The tuberose, as the name of the perfume suggests, is worked in that way that is reminiscent of ripe bananas in scent and the floral sweetness of the composition is even increased by the ylang ylang. It has, as I have read in some reviews, some distant reminiscences of Baccarat Rouge, I have also felt it, but it is not at all similar to that perfume. Furthermore, these similarities in the dry-down appear from approximately the tenth hour of development of the perfume and will not, in my opinion, make anyone feel that they are looking at something repeated in their collection if he/she already own the MFK perfume or any of the similar ones in the market. It has a very notable sillage and lasts more than 15 hours on my skin. Although I don't give practically any importance to receiving compliments, when you wear it people won't stop commenting on how good you smell and asking what you're wearing. For me, this perfume is spectacular, unforgettable, intoxicating, in short, an absolute marvel. Of course, after using a sample, it has become a complete bottle in my collection and has left me eager to continue trying other author's creations. Scent 10/10 Duration 10/10 Sillage 10/10 Quality/price 8.5/10 Versatility 6.5/10 Packaging 9/10 Would I buy again? Yes

Musa Paradisiaca is a very well balanced perfume, i surely didnt expect this to be this well constructed. After some recent rants of disappointment from well established houses and new perfumers i am glad that some people still care about the art and craft of perfumery. So....it is a tuberose, but rather smooth one, it has green tone to it, but never goes into galbanum territory, there is underlying freshness almost like ambroxan - but it is infinitely more pleasant than that horrible molecule. It is closer to laundry powder, or crisp white shirt - but it has that soapiness well tamed. There is very slight sweetness as if there is green mango in the play, but its not strong, just keeps other notes in check. I am not big into tuberoses, and in fact this is 4th tuberose perfume i tried, but it is probably better than Carnal flower, nuit de bakelite, and tauers gardenia. Musa Pqradisiaca, if my memory serves well, could be a child of those 3, but infinitely more balanced. It is quite natural smelling as well, good projection and great longevity. Id suggest doing only 1 spray as it is strong. For lovers of tuberose - a must try, maybe even a safe blind buy. For new people to this genre - definitely give it a test, i am sure ull be pleasantly surprised :)

Starts out with a bright, tangy quality.... moves through a mimosa phase, and ends up as laundry detergent.
