Cuba City Las Vegas for Men

Some users really need to understand the difference between a dupe and a remix. This carries too many chypretic characteristics to be called a dupe of Boss Bottled. While the green apple has the same blended quality of BB that keeps it from feeling like a low IQ Jones Soda flavored fragrance, that's essentially where the similarity stops. Boss Bottled is a mildly cruisy fragrance that feels designed for guys trying to smell "daddy" for twinks who avoided male influences in their life until some 40-something made them feel cute at age 16 or 17. Cuba CLV is a genuinely masculine fragrance. While the closest of any Cuba Paris I've smelled to being sweet, It's not a watered-down, "my wife is on birth control" millennial/gen x masculinity. No "let me ask the boss" vanilla. Smooth and office safe, without an obsequious eagerness to please. It's a chypre. Boss Bottled is kinda nice, if you're into that, but this is not a dupe of it. A touch of tobacco, brighter citrus opening, earthier earthiness. Chypre LAMF, even if unconventionally so.

Light version of Boss Bottled is very correct evaluation of this fragrance. Interestingly enough, it has excellent longevity on my skin (close to 8 hours). But projection is really weak, if I want to get the same projection as my "average" scents, I need spray 3-4 times more. Scent 7/10 Projection 2/10 Longevity 8/10 Value 8/10 (The 100ml bottle is around 10€, if projection didnt require you to spray so much, I'd give it 10/10). EDIT: I did a test on the longevity. I used two sprays on my wrist around 6pm yesterday. Today at 8am I was still smelling it as a skin scent. So 14 hours longevity for a 10€ fragrance, beating 99% of my expensive scents - amazing. Too bad the projection is so weak. (I dont know how long the scent would have lasted because I had to take a shower and wash it away, but it doesnt matter, obviously it was getting weak at this point).

My fragrance journey started off with cuba fragrances since my friend introduced me to them as being nice smelling and cheap. For an average highschooler that's all that is needed. Cuba fragrances are indeed very cheap and kinda nice smelling. Altough generally they are not strong nor long lasting. They are good for starting off in my opinion, since they have lots of clones of more popular and nicer fragrances, they may not be the best clones, i would say you can get the idea of what the would smell like but they are not close at all. Tho they have very wide range of fragrances across all categories sou you can really experiment on what type of smells you like or don't like without spending so much money. and when you have your likings you can buy the original scents or other frags in that category. As i gotten more into fragrances i realised they are not any more than that. You can get way better fragrances for a little mor or for the same price, but for experimenting they could work. (get the smaller bottles for that tough). This is supposed to be a clone of Boss Botled. For me it is kinda booring and generic smelling. 3.5/10

Very light. A little green apple at the opening, some wood throughout (I'm feeling cedar but the whole fragrance is so light I can barely smell it), something herbal (rosemary maybe?), a hint of vanilla. Don't remember how I ended up with this, I've had the bottle for years and never really used it as I've always had better stuff around. Probably going to make it my glove box fragrance as the metal tube case makes me feel pretty comfortable with tossing it around and if heat destroys it no major loss. I frankly would rather have a body spray in the car (Ross usually has some calvin klein/guess/kenneth cole for $10 per which perform better) but living in FL the heat would make aerosols a time bomb haha. Does smell clean and seems like it'd work for any season, if I ever end up using it based on the 2 test sprays on my wrist for this review it'll be getting 10 sprays to do anything (and 95%+ of the time I use 2-3 sprays from my other frags)
