It starts very citrus, around the bergamot and lemon peel to then become a aroma of rose with amber and musk plus a chord of lavender always present It's very pleasant on my skin feels like flower of olive tree when it settles. Nice!

I wonder what the day in the life of a Cuba Paris executive is like. How does it work? How do they decide to replicate a particular fragrance? Is it all based on the popularity of the fragrance in ratio to the price of the fragrance? Do they have staff dumpster dive for formulas of the big houses? Pay moles? Do they funnel money to the secretaries to tell all? I suppose the how of it is reverse engineering instead of intrigues. My question remains: How do they pick a fragrance? If one reflects on the question and consider variables of not only ingredients but the processes to blend them well maybe the fragrance picks itself. Maybe they just try to get close to a few scents and then the muses are employed to inspire the last 10% of a 80% close to fragrance. We can't get this particular very expensive niche fragrance... but hey wait a minute this is familiar... Burberry Brit for Men? I don't know what do you think Jacques? Hmm close different notes but I don't know like this reviewer writing this piece... I only smelled it once on a piece of paper at Macy's... wait is this a novel? How dare I be a character! I am alive. A AM ALIVE!!! Nataliapyy's review is spot on. Lavender lemon and rose in a soft presentation (the use of more incense and less leather?). I do not pick up on the leather note but notice a little powder like vibe in the dry down. I hope more folks take a chance on blind buying this and posting a review. Whatever it is I like it and for $5.86 for 1.17 oz (free shipping) it isn't a steal but rather defies logic that something so lovely would be that low of a price. Hurry and buy before the scent catches on and soars to $6.99 like it's made big brother Cuba Royal!

I'd purchased this based on it's packaging and wondered which fragrance was this one going to imitate. I did a complete blind buy on this. Starts off with a really sharp powdery scent. I didn't like the initial spray and top notes. After about 3 minutes, it started to settle into the middle notes. It became a bit warmer and creamier. Not a bad scent in the middle! After about an hour, the projection was no longer there and it got closer to the skin and revealed more of the base notes. The base notes certainly have an amber smell. Unfortunately, and it happens with these brands, the longevity isn't great. The scent stayed on my skin for about 4 hours, but you can certainly afford to spray more often at this price. Overall, it is too powdery for my tastes, but it's not overly powdery! It was a much more manageable powder scent. A 6/10 for me! Cheers!

Despite the note breakdown, this is fairly simple smelling; it's mainly just a peppery bergamot over a musky/soapy lavender, with a touch of woodiness to it. It's not bad, but you could easily layer this with another fragrance. I think a good tobacco fragrance would really set this off.

My fragrance journey started off with cuba fragrances since my friend introduced me to them as being nice smelling and cheap. For an average highschooler that's all that is needed. Cuba fragrances are indeed very cheap and kinda nice smelling. Altough generally they are not strong nor long lasting. They are good for starting off in my opinion, since they have lots of clones of more popular and nicer fragrances, they may not be the best clones, i would say you can get the idea of what the would smell like but they are not close at all. Tho they have very wide range of fragrances across all categories sou you can really experiment on what type of smells you like or don't like without spending so much money. and when you have your likings you can buy the original scents or other frags in that category. As i gotten more into fragrances i realised they are not any more than that. You can get way better fragrances for a little mor or for the same price, but for experimenting they could work. (get the smaller bottles for that tough). This one is supposed to be a clone of Armani Code, but i did not like this fragrance for some reason, it smelled weird to me. 3/10
