Cuba City Miami

Cuba City Miami seemed like the perfect opportunity for something with some salt, the presence of some lime and mint of a Mojito, a little bit of dried cigar tobacco and some oceanic qualities all blended into something truly worthy of its namesake. Instead we are left with something altogether non-Miami but still quite respectable for such a budget fragrance heavily dependent on kitsch packaging for marketing. Cuba Miami is more of an airy, floral geranium lightness over an aromatic lavender, bamboo and tarragon core balanced out by the cedar and musk in the base. For such a small price, this one is rather organic in its makeup and doesn't suffer from the harshness of heavy synthetics. There's a tiny bit of spice here but for most of the wear it is lightly detectable and background noise to the dominance of the geranium and lavender. If attention and good favor is what you seek; you won't get a lot of excitement from this wear; it's fluffy, floral and musky but doesn't radiate off the skin in any way or exude anything distinguishing that will garner compliments or attention. This is a rather low-key, bland affair that won't have you liking or disliking but rather wondering where it is after a couple of hours and rather indifferent to the whole thing by the time it dries up. Very soft projection and weak longevity make this viable only if you are getting it as part of the 4-pack Cuba City compilation. Stays linear throughout, if you like geranium and lavender you'll enjoy this for about 20-30 minutes before getting bored and desiring a bit more personality. If you are a spice lover no need to bother with this, there's just a 20 minute span of coriander and white pepper in the heart section, but it quickly makes way for the woods, musk and aromatic notes.
