Cuba Jungle Snake

I just can say something: Very sexual perfume !

Well, I just wrote a long review on this but after clicking submit it did not go through for whatever reason. It did delete all that i had written though, fabulous! Either way, here I go again. This is a green, aromatic floral to me. It opens intensely green but a little sweet, not harsh or assaulting. I assume this is the angelica root, I've never smelled it in real life, but it sure is not tuberose. After that i do perceive the jasmine and rose but they are not very realistic or definite interpretations, a nebulous floral quality, only. I do however smell a very clear chamomille and hints of marigold, and going into the manufacturer's website i see that their official pyramid is entirely different to the one here. Sure enough, there they are, chamomille and marigold. There's also moss and patchouli which might account for the scatological-ish connections some people in the other comments make. I sprayed in on my sweater sleeve and a whole 24 hours later i could still smell it there. It does last, but close to you, sillage is not impressive, other people would perhaps only be able to smell you for about 4-ish hours i'd imagine. On my skin it did not last nearly as long, which is not surprising given i am god's strongest soldier. It takes a slight powdery turn as it wears, but frankly i would call it linear. The evolution is so mild, it practically smelled the same after those 24 hours on my sleeve. I don't mind linear when it's cute tho. I agree with the notion that this could be remindful of inexpensive toiletries. I've never cared much for having people think i am of a higher class or wealthy (what for?) so i couldn't care less. Someone said spa scent, i can see that too. I find this herbal, youthful, jovial, serene, fresh, demure in a sense, mellow, but above all carefree. Wonderful option for a tight budget, or a casual outing, chores, school, work, groceries, outing with friends, etc.

I got this one for the first time as a gift about 10 years ago maybe? I remembered it as very earthy with some rain and very floraly green. I loved my bottle but when I finished it I never really repurchased it. A few months ago I decided I wanted to try it again but no testers anywhere. Today I saw a 35 ml bottle for 100 pesos, that's about 6 dollars so I just bought it. The smell is just as I remmembered it, but now that I know more about fragrance I have a clearer idea of what this smells like. It opens very fresh and still green but also a tad sweet. The flowers come right after. I still can not tell which flower is more prominent mostly because I don't know what Angelica smells like. After a while it becomes softer, but I would not call it a skin scent. The dry down is a mix of rose and musk. I am really happy I have this scent back. Overall it is very fresh, unofensive and pretty. It is light but you can smell it. The sillage is medium unless you really bathe on it and it's been there for about six hours and counting. Edit: after wearing it some more I think it last more on hot days, where I can stil smell it after 8 hours alhough with a lower sillage. On cold days it last on me about 6 hours or so.

This is such a pretty little floral! I actually really like this brand! They create some nice smelling fragrances that have decent longevity for an extremely affordable price point! Does it smell a little synthetic. Of course, what do you expect for under $10! Do you think they’re going through the expensive extraction process of natural oils and then just sell it for $10?? Of course not! They use synthetic versions of the same notes and offer it to the consumer for a great price. Frankly, I don’t really think a lot of noses can pick up the difference. I personally have a massive collection of fragrances, (embarrassingly over 500) and even pricey fragrances will blend both synthetic and natural oils within a fragrance. I think this is a great little scent and there’s no shame in my game! The opening is a bit sharp but after a few minutes, it settles down to be quite pretty. Luckily, I don’t remotely get an animalic note, just a slight musk in the base. I don’t think it smells cheap, but also, doesn’t smell super expensive. Just a pretty easy reach floral for any occasion!

A naughty jungle snake exuding rose, vegetation, animalic musk. I once held a grass snake and afterwards noticed a strong, animalic smell on my hands. Jungle Snake is nothing like that and fortunately I don't smell feces either so I guess the musk agrees with my chemistry :). I don't reach for this often as I need the energy to match but I like it; the fresh, soapy rose combined with oakmoss and musk, the sweet-grassy, earthy, herbaceous touch and some powderiness. This is a powerhouse. One spray projects strongly and lasts all day. Read that some had issues with longevity but that's not the case for me. The newer bottle is hot pink like the casing. Jungle Snake is different from Ralph Lauren's "Romance" which is a classic floral-patchouli reminding me of the 80:s/90:s. Jungle Snake does not smell dated to me, it's moss-musky and more discreet in patchouli. Like @Magnapinna wrote, the manufacturer's website lists more notes: TOP: Tangerine, blackcurrant, plum HEART: Freesia, marigold, violet leaves, cyklamen, jasmine, rose BASE: Musk, patchouli, moss, powder, iris 🌹🐍

This lovely perfume deserves a different bottle! Looking at the bottle, lovely floral notes are not what come to mind. To be honest I was skeptical about buying this one blind...I was expecting something either too young for me (I'm in my mid-40s) or something too masculine for my liking. I decided to go ahead and take the plunge due to the extremely low price and I'm so glad I took the chance! To me this is a light, fresh floral with a touch of comforting musk. On my skin there isn't much silage and it disappears to a skin scent within an hour or two. You get so much perfume for the price, though, that I'm willing to reapply often. I think i'll reach for this one when I need something pleasant to wear that isn't too bold and won't offend others in close proximity. If you're on the fence about trying this one, I would recommend you go ahead. You'll be happy if you appreciate simple, light, fresh floral fragrances that aren't very complex. It's such a steal I bought a second bottle as backup!

Wet rose when you smell it in your garden after rain. It's not too pungent, and smells of grasses, wet soil and rain mingled with the scent of a rose itself. Likable from the first notes, I haven't noticed any blasts of alcohol, on the contrary, Snake is close to skin, whispering, my very own private animal. Not very long lasting at all, but appropriate for a variety of occasions - where strong smells might be too much, it's possible to wear Snake and smell nice and grassy floral.

I actually imagined "pale green" when I first smelled this one- a nice green floral perfect for a spring day.

first I get a lot of alcohol , it becomes sweet and a bit of rose and than .... It is gone with the wind in half a hour. I woudn't buy it again , was just intrested in the bottle because I find them so funny.

Ick. 😖 Just yuck. Not worth the $4 I paid for it. Thank gawd my brother likes it. Gifted away immediately to someone who can't smell animal musks. 1.5/10 VERY synthetic. Musk of burnt, sugar-saturated dust.

I wanted to find an affordable perfume with Angelica. Now it is in my wc. Very synthetic and cheap air spray... By the way the bottle is pink and different. 0/5 V

Funky! It smells like a snake has definitely been in the jungle...

I purchased the Jungle set which included Snake. I sprayed it on my skin before on a blotter strip and almost gagged at first whiff. Afterward, I came to the board to see reviews and was completely surprised by all the positive ones, only one negative which used the word "funky". What I smelled on my skin was literally feces. So, I pulled out a strip and sprayed it on that...shocker, it was LOVELY. Apparently, my skin chemistry just does not agree with this particular Cuba fragrance though the others were quite nice. Always and forever, your skin will have the final say on a fragrance!

The Cuba Jungle Line, heck, the whole design of the company CUBA Paris, is very tacky and I would certainly have a hell of time admitting that I have several, if asked. Voluntering that information, I wouldn't - at least not face to face :) I ordered a package of the four Jungle Scents (Snake,Zebra,Tiger, *Heartbreaker*(quirky doesn't cut it here!) and thought I would receive bad to worse dusky,chemical scents because of cheap fixator or such - and am surprised indeed, in a more favorable way towards the line. I wanted to try the J-Zebra since long and have to say that instead I find myself gravitating to the wrist with the Snake on. Despite the overabundance on-take on flowers it is not heady and overwhelming, but fresh. I didn't have a guess what angelica should smell like and neither tuberose, but the topnotes are the deal for me - they are great: fresh take on white flowers, that so far always seemed to be used in seduction-perfumes. Here they are playful and stay long into the middle where rose and jasmin (both defenitly there) aren't the morbid heavy flowerheads, but bright light rain-freshed petals. all the while the fragrance plays light and with decent sillage and durability and I start to think over my negative position against the floral category - if the fragrances are more to be like this. btw: Cuba is just one of incorporated lines by fragluxe.

A snake in the jungle, dangerous, mysterious, and dare I say, tantalizing. I transport myself to that place; the snake moving through the dense undergrowth. There are the decaying leaves on the ground, mixed in with the smells of the grasses, pollins, leaves and flowers. It is a strong and compelling image. I am surprised that I am not disappointed. There is an earthy, floral, green aura about it. I like it, and ask that my escort wear it when we are out on the town.

Finally was able to test this over the holiday break at my local mall at a small kiosk since none of the stores ever keep this version in stock in my area. This smells like Ralph Lauren Romance and the win is that they only were charging $8 for it. I can't wear the scent for myself, but I definitely recommend testing if you are looking for a possible dupe "depending on your skin chemistry" for Ralph Lauren Romance. Good Luck :)

I love this sexy,sophisticated,mascline but very feminine grown up fragrance. I wear it to bed and during the day. This is the first perfume that ive had that gets the most compliments. Im literally stopped by strangers and told "you smell soooooo good"! I also spray my hair and the scent stays long. Ive purchased this fragrance 4x now and its my new signature scent.

First of all, I smell fresh roses,fresh grass, then earthy notes...I thought it would be a heavy perfume, but no , it is rather tonique and not at all sweet...I don't know why some people are talking about its sweetness...I like sweet, but this one it is not.

This perfume is very inexpensive and has long lasting silage . I`m wearing it today and I can`t stop sniffing myself ! Has been a staple of mine for years .
