Cuba Wild Heart

I'm not usually fond of Cuba fragrances as many of them are "inspired" by other fragrances I already own but with lower quality. That being said this one is a pleasant surprise, seems to be its own thing and very pleasant at it. Fresh, inoffensive, mass pleasing but not excessively generic, smells more refined than your average cheap cologne and body deodorant. One of the only Cuba's I can see myself wearing.

Wild heart smells so good that it's hard not to like it. Longevity is an issue as it lasts only for 3 hours and projects for around an hour. If you really go heavy on the trigger then it becomes a compliments beast. Blind buy worthy if you can respray every 4 hours.

My fragrance journey started off with cuba fragrances since my friend introduced me to them as being nice smelling and cheap. For an average highschooler that's all that is needed. Cuba fragrances are indeed very cheap and kinda nice smelling. Altough generally they are not strong nor long lasting. They are good for starting off in my opinion, since they have lots of clones of more popular and nicer fragrances, they may not be the best clones, i would say you can get the idea of what the original would smell like but they are not close at all. Tho they have very wide range of fragrances across all categories sou you can really experiment on what type of scents you like or don't like without spending so much money. And when you have your likings you can buy the original scents or other frags in that category. As i gotten more into fragrances i realised they are not any more than that. You can get way better fragrances for a little mor or for the same price, but for experimenting they could work. (get the smaller 35ml bottles for that tough). But after getting my old bottle back from this one and smelling it one more time, This one is something different, i don't know if it's maceration or what but it's suprisingly good for the price! It is a clone or inspiration of love & luck wich is close or a clone of creed millisime imperial. The scent profile is very nice for me, but it is very synthetic, mainly the floral notes. (the woods smell good though) In my oppinion this is the Best fragrance from the house. The performance is very supprising for me i got 8 hours with his if not more. the sillage is nice up till 1,5 hour after that moderate for 3 then skin scent as i recall. The atomisers on cuba fragrances are kinda hit or miss but at least on my bottle it is decent, not the best but it works consistently, wich some of cuba atomizerst don't. In my oppinionm this fragrance is worth it, although it is vers synthetic, it smells very nice, and it has good longevity, great cheap summer scent, and there won't be very much people smelling like you! 6.5/10 Thanks for reading!

I am re-reviewing Cuba Paris' Cuba Wild Heart after a number of years wearing this fragrance. I will say it is no longer a love but rather just a like. Before I go any further, Cuba Paris Wild Heart, is the Cuba version of Ed Hardy Love & Luck. It is more in-line with Cuba Prestige than Cuba Royal in regards to smelling and performing like its original. It is stripped down and has vastly similar notes. Cuba Prestige has a lot of similar notes to Mugler's A*Men just as Wild Heart is to Love & Luck. I found that the most powerful and noticeable fragrance note is the pine. Ironically pine is a note that isn't used in the Imperial citrus fragrance (Creed MI, Sean John Unforgiven, Love & Luck, et. all) That maybe why it is noticeable. The open also has kumquat which I'm guessing replaced the oranges and bergamot of Love & Luck and other Imperials. The middle of the fragrance is just jasmine. The base is pretty much Brazilian rosewood. I happen to like that in fragrances, but this one comes off as a traditional woody note. Perhaps Cuba cheaped out. Wild Heart initially I found ironically lasted as long, if not longer than Love & Luck, even though most people find it to be a clone to Love & Luck. Now, I find it lasts shorter than Love & Luck. Wild Heart lasts about 5 hours on me. I don't know how I got the 10/11 hours in my original review. That said, Wild Heart also doesn't project as good as Love & Luck. I has some initial projection but quickly fades away. Overall, I find Wild Heart an adequate recreation to Love & Luck, one that is fairly on-par to it. I rate it at an 7.0 after re-reviewing it. It will not replace Love & Luck

That said, it doesn't project as good as Love & Luck. The kumquat replaces the oranges and bergamot in the open while the base replaces the oud and cedar with Brazilian rosewood (a woody note I enjoy in other fragrances.) Overall, I find Wild Heart an AMAZING recreation to Love & Luck, one that is pretty on-par to it. I rate it at an 8.2 just like Love & Luck and it surprisingly tops Cuba Royal as my favorite Cuba Paris fragrance. It maybe able to even replace Love & Luck in all honesty. On a side note, if you ever want to layer, I find if you wear Joop! Homme the night before, Wild Heart seems to work pretty good layered on top of the remaining scent the next morning.

Ignoring the fact that the scent pyramid for this fragrance is complete bunk, it's really not all that bad and actually quite good for a uber cheapie.(got my bottle shipped for about the same $'s as a fast food meal) Yes, it's along the same lines as M.I. and Love & Luck...only much cheaper and more synthetic. When first sprayed, it is kind of a mess...but give it 10 minutes or so and you get this nice salty/sweet melon/citrus. On the first wearing I thought this had terrible longevity.(weather was cool out and seemed to be gone after an hour) But have since worn this in the heat and of course that is where it shines. Nice polite silage and pretty good longevity for this type of scent and price range. The white musk keeps truck'in along for a good time in this one. Would I say this is right up there with Cuba's other offerings like Gold or Prestige? No, it's a notch lower IMHO...but that doesn't mean it's not pleasant and worth owning. Especially if you like L&L.:)

This is another good fragrance from the cuba line ! It starts out smelling like an even more synthetic version of love and luck but after 5 mins that synthetic harshness fades and its back on track with smelling nearly identical to Love n Luck.Id go as far as saying its 85% identical. The differences being are that Love n Luck goes in a more smooth direction while Wild Heart is slightly more clean and sharp smelling. I personally like Love n Luck better but they are VERY similar so if you want something that ladies will love and are on a budget dont pass this one up. Where Love n Luck does surpass this though is performance. Love n Luck lasts me 6-8 hours while Wild Heart lasts me 3-6 hours and has very little projection whereas love n luck has above average projection for about 3 hours. For the price though this is a great smell so for that ill have to give it a 6.75 out of 10 !

'Love and Luck' and 'Imperial Millesime' went on a scandalous secret cruise together- this is their little love child. :-) Basically a nice, daytime, warm-weather frag. I'm getting lots of black pepper and coriander seed in the top, with melon and a bright mix of citrus. I'll agree that the heart has cyclamen, but also calone (aquatic note). In the base, I'm NOT sensing rosewood and amber (labdanum and/or benzoin), instead I'm getting mostly a clean musk with orris and sandalwood, and a breath of coumarin/tonka, with perhaps a tiny touch of frankincense. Very "modern" structure. The base actually lingers on my skin well past the 12-hour mark... Not terribly-complex, but really not bad at all for the price-point! Good for casual business, or daytime activity.

Over my fragrance journey I have had the chance to look at the house of Cuba a couple of years prior. From the fragrances I tested some were good, others were average and some were not so good. This one among the Cuba's that I've tried stood out the most to me along with Cuba Gold. It had an easygoing vibe by being clean, charismatic, yet simple. If you're looking to buy a fragrance for a few bucks, I would definitely suggest this one, however if you are willing to spend a few bucks more, then I would rather advise you to get something like Nautica Voyage or Azzaro Chrome Legend. Either way, for the price you really can't complain (In my region 100ml bottle costs 4-5eur)

My first thoughts: this is almost an exact clone of Ed Hardy Love & Luck. Just a bit softer and weaker. So most of what I said in my first thoughts in the love luck review are the same. Final notes: all in all a good cologne. Just it’s like buying a second bottle of Ed Hardy Love & Luck. So I gave this one to a friend for his birthday. It cost 15$CA on fragrancebuy roughly for 100 ml. (There is a smaller size for 7 or 8 CAD.) Where the love luck cologne is 19.59$CA. Unless you’re on a tight budget, I suggest getting the Ed hardy one. Better for the money.

Cuba Wild Hearts is a really comfortable scent that starts out very fresh.It's definitely for casual use.Similar to Love & Luck by Ed Hardy as you can imagine from the container. Projection and Longevity aren't the best but it only costs a few dollars.Cuba Wild Heart is a good choice for the warmer months. At such a low price who find anything to complain about.

Cheap pleasant scent. To me it didn't smell much like Love & Luck but it was a nice scent on it's own. Only issue was it didn't last 30 mins on me and it was gone. Of course it's so cheap you can reapply as much as you need but that gets to be a hassle after a while. I gave it away with an auction of fragrances I sold on ebay.

I'm surprised to hear that this last a long time on some men. This really only gives me about an hour. While I do like the scent, and the price is just great, I just don't get a good performance from her.

For summer vacations! It's a perfect travel frag. Cheap, portable, with a good smell, for day use. Don't expect too much, Cuba has great copies, but this one it's only an OK fragrance... ;)

My friend Vinny and I tested this each four times. Sillage is moderate. Longevity is around 4 hours. Vinny paid $13.99 I grew up on Cuba fragrances. My father gave me Cuba gold when I was young and they became a staple in my signature fragrance. Fast forward to adulthood with the start of my fragrance journey. Vinny and I head to the perfume gallery in town and spot what seems to be Ed Hardy. Vinny, being an Ed Hardy fanatic blindly purchased this fragrance...yeah. He and I both got the woodsy notes 🪵 in the opening (can't confirm Brazilian Rosewood) but a TON of floral notes 💐. To my nose, the wood note is pleasant but the florals felt like someone slapped me across the face with a bouquet of assorted flowers and said "tell me each flower you smelled". It's synthetic in an inexpensive way. I think this would benefit from a reformulation possibly adding at least one raw material that stands out. Because Vinny didn't see this as "inspired by Love and Luck" he saw this as a cheap knock off that would pass for Axe. Scent: 3/10 Performance: 4/10 Value: 3/10 Overall: 10/30

Ummmmmm... The Fragluxe website has the notes as: Red sake accord, bergamot, blood orange, nectarine Plum, jasmine, black currant, pink peppercorn Sandalwood, patchouli, cedarwood and musk What can I say, it smells like a dollar store version of Love & Luck without the brightness. It's cheap and it performs pretty well, if you enjoy the smell. Personally, I've always disliked L&L as well as Creed's Millesime Imperial, so I wasn't expecting much from this one. The smell just reminds me too much of a bathroom cleaning product - maybe an old soap, candy or orangy toilet cleaner with a strong musk. >> Shudder << But for $5, I had to give it a try. It's definitely not terrible and the projection is a thumbs up; although the scent is not as good as Prestige, Gold or Royal IMO. If you're looking for a citrus freshie though, look elsewhere. And if you want L&L, for goodness sake, just get L&L - what is it like 10 bucks more??? Scent - 5/10 Longevity - 7.5/10 Projection - 7.5/10 Overall - 6/10

cheap fresh, cheap floral, cheap green, cheap aromatic. wood? what wood? perfect in hot summer day when you need to talk with plumber to fix shower you couldn't take for a couple of days.

Piss poor lemon frag with no silage or longevity,, save your money people..

There is something repulsive about this but I can't figure out what it is based on the notes listed. I smell it when spraying in the air and I smell it just sitting with myself, but if I put my nose to my skin, I get some nicer smells and the one nasty part is masked. I rated this a "HATE" because of the pungent note, but I'll let it sit for a month and check it out again to see if it has changed at all. It was only $6 for the small bottle, bought as an experiment because I like a handful of other Cuba fragrances and this one has a sort of vague, twice-removed lineage with Creed Millesime Imperial, for which I'd obviously never spend the money.

It smells like that Ed hardy thing. But besides that it’s perfect for getting a son. It’s like the aura of the oldschool hot wheels logo, but more mature. Recommend blind buy especially for the price. Further I’d add that it’s a unique crowd pleaser. In a way everyone likes it. It’s not going to be the best, but it’s definitely different.
