These cult gaia fragrances are so frustrating because they smell DIVINE but they're just ridiculously priced (I'm in the UK and the price in pounds is the same as in dollars so without an appropriate conversion rate it makes them the most expensive fragrances I own- although I did manage to pick up a full size of this and mast from a reseller at a much more sensible price and would absolutely recommend this to anyone trying to get ahold of these) and even more frustrating is they're actually worth it!? They last forever and project wonderfully, a perfect balance between a likeable designer fragrance and niche enough you won't have anything like it. Also disappointing for the price they retail at is the sprayer being garbage, shoots a jet stream of liquid out rather than the mist you'd expect but again the scent is just sooooo good I'm somehow willing to overlook it 🤷

Spicy and aromatic combo of nose-tickling black pepper and a soapy geranium at the top. Vibrant and alluring as the velveteen rose moves to the foreground. Blends of pepper, rose, and geranium are common, and for good reason - they make swell bedfellows (although more neo-gothic and deep, the Oliver Pescheux for Diptyque composition of Eau Capitale comes to mind). The lavender is plucky, citrus-sharp and soothing at once, a nice surprise for me as one who generally struggles to detect this note. An hour after spraying my sample, I sense the sticky resinous aspect of incense, though not the light, smokey trail of a burning incense--which I would welcome. Pleasant scent, nothing challenging or left of field. A classic designer offering sure to please many and become signature to die-hard Cult Gaia fans. The personality of this fragrance is mutable enough to carry any season, event, day or night--making it a great choice for someone who is looking to own just one scent. Like a floral shop sign that declares, "Flowers for all occasions!" She is that girl.

at first, the opening had me fooled. it was so beautiful, until all of a sudden i'm exclusively getting pine and woody notes. somehow with the added rose, this makes me nauseous. definitely not for me.
