This is the very fragrance that initially seized my imagination and compelled me to explore the house of Curatrix. The moment I learned it featured a "wet gravestone" accord, I knew it was something I absolutely had to experience firsthand. Never before had I encountered such a specific and evocative accord listed in a note breakdown, and my mind raced, eager to comprehend how it would manifest. Let's get into it and discover what this intriguing fragrance truly holds in store. Opening The opening is a luminous cascade of sparkling citrus, refreshing aquatic notes, and crisp ozonic freshness. The primary notes that immediately greet my senses are bergamot, watery notes, violet leaf, and stone, with bergamot and watery notes being the dominant presences. The bergamot takes center stage in the opening with a bright and zestful accord, gracefully underscored by the characteristic spicy and aromatic tones for which bergamot is renowned. Following closely behind are the watery notes, imbuing the opening with a distinctly aquatic sensation. Next, violet leaf and stone weave into the composition. The violet leaf plays a supportive role, imparting a fresh and ozonic quality that harmonizes beautifully with the aquatic nuances of the watery notes. Lastly, the stone note, or as the house masterfully lists it, "wet gravestone accord," establishes a base of mineralic and subtly earthy tones in the background, an intriguing whisper of what's to come. Dry Down The dry down settles into a captivating blend of aquatic transparency, ethereal ozonic air, and prominent minerality. The primary notes I continue to discern are watery notes, violet leaf, stone, and bergamot, with watery notes and violet leaf now holding the strongest positions. The watery notes remain a primary focus, and interestingly, though listed as a top note, they somehow feel even more robust in the dry down, having taken on an almost sea-salty aspect. Meanwhile, the violet leaf has also built in strength, delivering an amplified dose of the ozonic freshness from the opening. This evolving core is then joined by stone and bergamot. The stone, while still a supporting note, has subtly emerged from the background to impart a heightened, sharpened mineralic tone compared to its initial appearance. This increased minerality, expertly paired with the prominent aquatic tone, truly emphasizes the "wet gravestone" accord the creators envisioned. Lastly, the bergamot is still present in the dry down, lending its familiar citrusy zest, albeit now more subdued. In the dry down, I also begin to perceive subtle aspects of oakmoss, with its telltale inky earthiness, as well as a gentle touch of musk, adding a light, airy freshness. Performance The initial projection is remarkably strong, effortlessly reaching out at least six feet. Sillage is equally robust, leaving an easily discernible scent trail. Even after approximately three to four hours, the performance remained largely unchanged. At the seven to eight-hour mark, the projection still admirably held at around three feet, and the scent trail, though a touch lighter, remained noticeable. The fragrance ultimately receded to a skin scent around the ten-hour mark, demonstrating impressive longevity for a fresh aquatic. When to Wear 6 Feet Under presents itself as a quintessential spring and summer fragrance, ideally suited for daytime wear. Its bright, aquatic, and unequivocally fresh vibe pairs perfectly with sunshine and warm weather, carrying with it an inherently casual and carefree spirit. I could certainly envision this as an appropriate choice for casual outings, gym wear, or perhaps even office wear if applied with a light hand. However, its specific character suggests it wouldn't be my first choice for any formal or truly special occasions. Blind Buy If you find yourself drawn to bright, invigorating aquatics akin to Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue line or Giorgio Armani's Acqua Di Gio collection, 6 Feet Under may very well prove to be a safe blind buy for your collection. It skillfully borrows appealing ideas from both without being an exact replica of either, maintaining its unique and intriguing character with the innovative "wet gravestone" accord. Final Verdict Initially, I had a preconceived notion that 6 Feet Under would manifest as some form of deep, earthy, mossy creation. Instead, upon its surprising opening, I was unexpectedly greeted with a bright and remarkably zingy aquatic fragrance. However, as it gracefully transitioned into its dry down, the "wet gravestone" accord began to emerge with increasing clarity and fascination. At its heart, it remains an aquatic and fresh fragrance, yet it masterfully incorporates a layer of uniqueness and individuality that sets it apart from anything else I've experienced before. Thankfully, that vibrant freshness did not translate into a fleeting performance, as this fragrance impressively endured into the ten-hour range before gently fading away. Dare I say, Curatrix has truly outdone itself once more, presenting me with a fragrance that I profoundly admire. While it didn't quite bowl me over with the same intensity as Antihero, it is undeniably something I would enthusiastically welcome into my personal collection. *Edit* Will no longer be purchasing from Curatrix due to a terrible customer service experience. Their fragrances are great, but I would exercise caution when dealing with this company. The opening is extremely zesty and citrus on my skin. It's as if you have a fresh lime near a waterfall. As it starts to dry down, the aquatic notes become stronger and more prominent, almost feeling cold and wet. There's a powderness that comes through from the violet, making it super gentle as it dries down. This is more masc in my personal opinion, but as someone who wears a lot of unisex fragrances, this one pulls in the middle. I could see this as a signature scent for men, while being a gorgeous summer scent in the heat for women.

Opens with the smell of wet and damp overgrown moss on cold gravestones in a musky cemetery. The violet leaf adds onto the melancholy with a powdery and soft touch paired with freshly clean lavender. The geranium here does read a tad sharp and lends way to it feeling too masculine for my own tastes but an enjoyable scent nonetheless. The dry down is a lot earthier and warmer with a heavy hand of oakmoss and less aquatics. A fun take on the typical earthy aquatic.

I don't get any moss or wet gravestone. The bergamot is overpowering and artificial. Kind of smells like a freshly cleaned hotel bathroom.

This starts out pretty and aquatic, but turns into a really strong, industrial cleaner after about 2 hours. Shame.

Please, please do not fall for the hype on this. I have a very broad taste and I like a lot of things, it's pretty uncommon that I leave a bad review. This smells borderline like a scam to me, idk how else to describe it. They have that cool box art, they describe the "wet gravestone" accord, neat bottles... everything you need to make you think you're getting into a transportative niche experience. Inside the bottle, you will find something that opens with the smell of Azzaro Chrome except worse and dries down to the most generic amberwoody base imaginable. It literally smells like they grabbed the first thing they saw off the TJ Maxx shelf that has all the knock-off unboxed no-name fragrances and poured it into this bottle. Thank god I traded for a partial and didn't shell out for a full bottle of this or I would feel genuinely robbed.
