Pablo

I really enjoy this scent. It opens a little on the sweeter side on me, mostly coriander and vanilla, then develops into a lovely sweet citrusy tobacco. It’s sweet and strong enough to perform well in winter, but the lemon gives it a freshness that does beautifully in hot weather as well. Easy to reach for year round, and very unisex in my opinion too. I’ve never smelled anything quite like it personally, and the performance is amazing...a little goes a very long way! It’s a little expensive, but worth it in my opinion based on uniqueness and performance.

Pablo smells like this beautiful hybrid redux of two scents from the 90s, Scott McClintock for Men and Versace's the Dreamer. As an artisan fragrance, there are for more naturals here, and a mimosa cuts through the atmosphere in the most delightful manner. I really appreciate the discourse between the olibanum resin and vanilla here, giving a meditative and pastoral 'smellscape" in its heart and through to its warm dry down. It's one of those that gives a shiver of nostalgia, Beautiful stuff!

Pablo is the second scent I purchased from this hometown fragrance brand, Curionoir. And it's another stunner from their stellar lineup. With one modest application, Pablo unleashes a glorious citrus/tobacco main accord supported on a vanillic backbone with resinous olibanum undertones. Tiffany, the creative force behind the range, uses very high concentrations in her extraits. So it's no surprise that Pablo is a performance all-star. It's fresh, it's dense, it's divine.

Initially, the lemon and coriander were a punch to the sinuses. Almost felt reminiscent of highschool boys cologne. An hour in, totally different story: sweet vanilla, little spicy freshness, just an all around gem. I’ve been trying to break out of my usual safe vanilla gourmand scents, and this was well worth the try. Plus, always awesome to support a local brand, so give it a try if you can!
