Wintermelon Tea

My favorite from Damask Haus so far! Warning tho: like another reviewer said; it doesn’t smell much of the notes listed, but more of a boba milk tea- syrupy, brown sugar mixed with a black tea. So if you are looking for a cucumber/light green tea fragrance, this isn’t it BUT I still give it 5/5 stars because it’s sooooo uniquely yummy. Imagine having a very sweet boba milk tea, with a brown sugar biscuit cookie. It’s also my hubby’s fav from Damask Haus. Excellent strength, projection & longevity. I’m definitely planning on buying the full size!

This is quite confusing because it opens with an unmistakable boba tea aroma—sweet, syrupy, and brown‐sugar adjacent—rather than anything resembling wintermelon, black tea, bergamot, cucumber, or rooibos. The liquid itself is almost brown, which makes sense once you smell it: this is built around wintermelon syrup aromachemicals. It reads as a sugary melon‐drink accord with a soft milky undertone, more like wintermelon milk tea than any kind of fresh or green tea fragrance. None of the listed notes show up in a recognizable way. There’s no crisp cucumber, no bergamot brightness, no black tea, no rooibos dryness. Instead, the perfume leans heavily into a sweet syrup + airy lactone structure that feels edible but not refreshing. The result is a perfume that smells like walking into a boba shop, complete with the brown‐sugar wintermelon drink with lots of brown tapioca pearls. Fun as a novelty.
