Golden Tuberose

Incredible Tuberose scent, one of the best, if not THEE best. Bought this one as a gift to someone, what an amazing fragrance. Beautifully put together. Longevity 10 of 10 Sillage 10 of 10 Sexy 10 of 10 Versatile 9 of 10 (be careful on hot summer days) Blind buy worthy? Absolutely, it's just impossible to go wrong for any woman.

I bought a D Josier Tuberose - not this golden Tuberose. Light airy fresh Tuberose, very nice and almost skinclose but there for many hours. Jag köpte D Josier Tuberose - inte denna Golden Tuberose, Lätt, luftig fräsch Tuberose, Härlig och relativt hudnära och håller i många timmar.

I'm nearing the end of a recent tuberose focused journey to find a tuberose centered perfume that works for me. I've probably sampled and/or purchased about four dozen tuberose fragrances. I waited until the end to try Nishane "Tuberoza," Nishane "Tuberoza X," Profumum Roma "Tagete," and Daniel Jozier "Golden Tuberose." My tuberose "gold standards" so far have been Amouage "Love Tuberose," Rogue Perfumery "Tuberose & Moss," and Nasomatto "Narcotic V." Daniel Josier "Golden Tuberose" is really nice! Out of the bunch, Tuberoza by Nishane and Golden Tuberose by Josier are my absolute favorites (and I'm a Profumum Roma lover, FWIW). Golden Tuberose is an extremely warm, sultry mixed floral fragrance. The perfume opens with an initial burst of marigold (I suppose), some ylang-ylang and a wee-bit of nutmeg, which really warms things up. The perfume unfolds with a mixture of florals (I detect marigold) and tuberose, vanilla and musk as a backbone. I personally do not consider Josier Golden Tuberose a tuberose-forward fragrance because for my tastes, the tuberose is very muted. But the drydown is lovely and the tuberose shines through in the base (along with lots of vanilla and musk). There's zero way I would justify the cost of a 100ml bottle of "Golden Tuberose," the rendition with the gold flakes. Social media indicate Josier "Golden Tuberose" is very identical to Josier "Tuberose" minus the hefty price-point.

Being a tuberose junkie I blind bought this fragrance and hoped for the best... And I was not disappointed. This is a lady Tuberose walking on the Red Carpet... It smells very sophisticated, classy and expensive. It opens with peppery, spicy, creamy tuberose, very airy and fresh and it ends with a hint of - although not listed in notes - hyacinth. Unlike most tuberose scents, you can't overdose on this one. I like to give it a spray or two on my hair and since it has gold flakes in it, it gives a nice shimmer. The longevity is great, but I wish the sillage was more prominent since it is so beautiful, it's more skin scent. I find it being more on the feminine side. I love it very much!
