Poire Divine

I have owned several bottles of this fragrance over the years still own one and the body care products in its line (shower gel, body lotion, bath pearls and bombs etc.) It always ends up on the back shelf... but somehow every time I pull it back out I fall in love with it again... Its sweet and juicy yet very fresh. I think the reason why,I end up forgeting about it is that it doesnt have much longevity. People love it, especially men if they're in the vicinity when you just applied it. The top note is spectacular, scrumptious, delicious pear. a drunk male friend found my bottle in my purse and kept spraying it in the air, he was addicted, so much in fact we ended up buying a bottle of it and the matching massage oil for him and his girlfriend :) . Even though he kept spraying through the evening, nobody got offended or got an overdose off of it, because it is such a delicate fragrance. The dry down is generic white musk nothing noteworthy to be honest. The sillage is weak and longevity poor but for between 20 and 40$CAD for 50ml (boutique has several sales throughout the year) cant really complain especially that it supports provincial economy. The company "Dans Un Jardin" is operated near Montreal and they own and run several Boutiques across Quebec.

I have been wearing and loving Dans Un Jardin Poire for 25 years. I don’t have a signature scent because I wear and love too many frags, but if I did, it would be Poire. Amazing, this is the only perfume i wore regularly as a teenager that is still being produced. That’s surprising to me because it’s a fairly obscure perfume & sometimes challenging to locate. This company's products are currently being sold in only Quebec, but shipping can be arranged to most of Canada. This fresh pear perfume is made slightly more complex by the addition of musky fuzzy peach skin. It’s fresh, pretty and delicate. I am convinced this perfume was designed to be layered with the other body products and this helps with longevity. Over the years I’ve tried the bubble bath, bath beads, talc, massage oil, lotion and deodorant. I highly recommend any of this company’s products.

This is what I want fruity perfumes to be: simple, strong, delicious. I'm not a fan of overly complicated fruity fragrances. If I want to smell like a pear, I want to smell like a pear and not add a million different things. That being said, if you're looking for a sweet intense pear perfume that also adds other things, I can recommend Meow by Katy Perry (a bit sharp and cheaper-smelling, but very fresh and fun) and Cosmic 2.0 by Kylie Jenner (exceptional consistency and overall quality). As others have mentioned, longevity is indeed an issue with Poire, but I suppose that is to be expected with eau de toilettes.

This scent is so good, very convincing juicy pear! Light, effervescent and slightly sweet. Sadly, there is no longetivity at all. It becomes a skin scent within minutes. Makes for a nice hair mist though! The new bottles are absolutely stunning.

Completely agree with AzraElle. Very juicy, true to nature pear. Am looking for sonething similar, but with more sillage and complexity. Any suggestions?
