Bloody Mary

This is Bloody good! Though, i get a blood note. It's not too metallic. The scent does give life to the name and image on the bottle. In the opening, i definitely get blackcurrant and a beautiful clean rose. Also incense, myrrh, tuberose and a little carnation is present. Some pomegranate too. I'd say it's fruity, floral, and almost carnal in profile. It's a soapy scent, but with a whole lot of nuances around it, making it not smell like just a bar of soap. As the fragrance settles down, 40-50 minutes in, the fruit and rose notes calms down, and more of the base notes push out. It's a weird but beautiful combination of carnal and clean. As an carnivore animal that has taken a bath in floral water. Longevity on my skin is about 5-6 hours, with a very good sillage. Myrrh shows up more after 30 minutes, giving a warmer, slightly balsamic note. Patchouli also becomes clearly detectable after 30 minutes. Office safe, if used moderately. To me, this has a sexy, alluring component. Something i'd wear for romantic ocations, but also when i want a unique soapy and clean scent. It's different, unusual, alluring, mysterious, and somewhat primal. Day or night time scent in my opinion. Autumn, Winter, and Spring fragrance. Day or night. Any age and gender. Personal score: 9/10. It has a pleasant scent, but is still challenging and unique. Something i'll wear from time to time, when i'm in the mood for something like this. It's on my wish list.

The first hit, only in the first seconds, yes; I get a sharp, vivid pomegranate. A sweet-sour, tart fruit and something earthy. Then I immediately got the leather, but the leather here is like it's wrapped in wet planks, damp and dark, like you're stepping into somewhere that gives you the chills. This scent is going to be one of the more interesting ones, I think! The leather is very much front and center here, and there's also something carrying a rusty iron feel, which I think comes from the carnation and pomegranate duo. I'm sensing quite medicinal floral notes too. Cold, like an apothecary cabinet. Oh oh. I loved it, because it's something super original, and there's nothing better than not being able to compare a thing to anything else. Interesting opening, definitely picking up on something resembling a fruit note although it's hard to pinpoint which fruit. It has a "darker" base with some leather and woods. It's more subtle than most of the others in the line. It's nice and after 10 minutes it starts to get really lovely and smells high class. This is full bottle worthy, such a gem! Longevity could be better though, had a dabber bottle and it lasted about 3hrs on my skin. 7/10

Bouquets left by the gallows, bruised florals fill the air, clinging to life unlike her. A storm has soaked the courtyard, the damp sorrow emanating as a reminder that even God is angry he cannot intervene. The faint smell of Blackberry mead from a feast undeserved lingers. Elegance is more important than suffering.

An incomprehensible, linear fragrance; the base note, or fragrance pyramid, is vague. We have leather and myrrh, but the fragrance harmony is weak.
