Devil's Share

Naxos + Angel Share = Devil's Share Thats what I am getting from this fragrance off the opening. I am sampling a bunch from this house and all have been masterfully blended and high quality. There is some jagged edges to this but it gives a lot of character. I definetely get the cocoa, honeyed sweetness and vanilla in this fragrance. Feels a touch of booziness equivalent to the parents between Naxos and Angel Share. It's a very solid release and way more interesting than Naxos or Angel Share. Very rich and gourmands fragrance. Complex and jagged giving intrigued and mystery. Very interesting and evolves longer it is on skin. I struggle with many coca in fragrances but this sits well with the booziness and other sweetness from the honey that it isn't stand alone but fits perfectly. Well done on this fragrance.

Got a sample of this from my local store along with sweet repose and wow. I thought I would like this right away based on the notes but the opening is insane with the top notes. It almost goes into cherry medicine territory and made me nauseous. I didn’t scrub it off, the heart notes do come out after an hour and a half and are quite nice, but I will be on the hunt for another fragrance that does not have that sharpness. Definitely will wear a few more times in the fall, but not travel or full size worthy for me.

Honey! Tons of honey at first, but is drying to add a dried wildflower grassy note that I’m loving. Dry down has hints of screamwood but it reads as whisky, so it’s okay and it stays in the back and doesn’t take over. Slight wood reads as the aging barrels, and then there are sweet notes from the candy and honey. Full dry down is soft slightly powdered tobacco with honey and chocolate aspects. Really nice!
